Chapter Six
*Your P.O.V*
The evening was starting to die down. Most countries had either drunk too much or returned to their hotel for the meeting in the morning. I was starting to get tired, and my buzz was starting to fade.
"Italy, I think I am going to head back," I said.
"Aw, do you want me to walk home with you~" he asked.
"Actually, Italia-chan, do you mind if I walk her home? I haven't had the chance to acquaint myself with her," a platinum blond man said from behind Italy.
"Ah, of course Prussia~" Italy chimed. "I'll see you in the morning~"
Italy gave a tight hug before running off, leaving the two of us.
"Then there was two," the male smiled at me. "I'm Prussia; Germany's brother."
I was unsure of him at first, but after he mentioned Germany, he made me trust him a bit more.
Germany is a proper gentleman, why wouldn't his brother be?
"(Y/N)," I smiled.
"Oh, I know all about you, the proud new country of Edina. Just breaking free of Turkey's rule," the male said. "How could I not know? You were a very big deal."
I blushed at his charismatic words in his thick accent.
"Let me walk you home?" he smirked, while bowing, sticking him out for me.
"That would be a pleasure," I replied, taking his hand.
As we walked together, he intertwined our arms, pulling us together. He smelled of beer, but he didn't seem drunk.
"So, tell me, how has your first world meeting been?" he asked me.
"Well, I haven't done much beyond going to one meeting and this ball. But I can't complain. I mean I've been to France before, with Turkey, along with many other beautiful countries, but this is so much different. I think that is because I have never been here as a free nation. There is just so much overwhelming freedom when you go to a new place for the first time and its all you. There is no other person telling you when you go somewhere and where you go. Not only that, but now I'm here as a nation. Like there is a whole different kind of respect. I feel so silly for thinking it all, but so far, my first world meeting has been amazing, and I don't think anything could ruin that for me...I'm sorry, I'm rambling." I blushed.
"No, not at all, I could listen to you talk all night, but unfortunately, we've made it to our destination," he said.
I looked, and I had rambled about myself the entire way to the hotel. I felt rather embarrassed.
"I'm sorry," I apologized.
"Oh no, don't worry. Like I said, I could listen to you all night," he smirked, taking a step closer to me.
I was taken off guard by his boldness, and I felt myself instinctively step back, being pinned between him and the brick wall.
"W-what are you doing?" I questioned.
He leaned much closer to me and whispering in my ear, "I'm hoping I get to hear you all night."
Suddenly, the platinum blond was violently ripped away from me by the back of his collar. I then saw the much taller German standing before me.
