Ok, so this is something I've been thinking about.
Riley is an innocent and naive girl.
The first season, she was younger so it was cute.
The second season, she was still a innocent in a way but she seemed to be growing and having more knowledge on things.
But then we get to season 3, and it all goes down the drain.
She is a 15 year old WOMAN. She isn't a little girl anymore. So the things that she did on season one that was cute became obnoxious in season 3. Like, in girl meets a Christmas maya? What the heck was that? And also, they say that they are supposed to be teaching the kids about the world, but clearly Cory is a hypocrite because his own daughter doesn't even seem to know about all the bad stuff going on in the world. Like, did Cory and Topanga just shelter Riley her whole life? I'm not saying being optimistic is bad, but there were times that Riley seemed so dumb and it hurts me because I liked her in the first two seasons.
The writers totally destroyed her character in season 3, and I'm really bummed. I feel like they were so busy working  on Maya's character, that they destroyed Riley's to make hers look better? What the heck?
