Hello guys, before I start off today's broadcast I wanna wish a HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY to all the children out there. I hope you guys had fun if not it's okay. Everyday is your day!

So today's broadcast is by a switchboard (sorry if that's a bad name for you guys) by 1997s- who is a  high schooler from India and she wrote;

Hey so today I had my medical health check-up done at school. I never used to be nervous about it but this time I was shaking and this is especially because of my weight. I never used to be the fat kid. I always used to be slim fit and active.

But after middle school and with all the pressure of studying and getting good grades, my weight had skyrocketed. I gained almost 40 pounds and I was so fat.. it wasn't that noticable, atleast that's what I thought. But it suddenly hit me and now I really have no idea how to do this..
I really want to reduce weight but every time I get the motivation to I just end up quitting within a week or so.

Please tell me what I can do. I really want to lose this weight.

Hey so first of all I just want you to know that outer looks don't matter as much as the inside, it doesn't matter at all honestly.

But yeah we all do feel the need to lose weight at some point in our lives. I used to be a heavy kid myself. Actually I used to be the skinniest in my class but as I grew I put on a lot of weight.

And suddenly I don't know what had pinned this motivation in me. I honestly think it's the transformation feed thing on Instagram. I set a goal and did a little basic research online about my own body and stuff.

Finally 4 months later I've lost almost close to 7 kgs. And I'm still continuing. I do understand at first it is hard... But as you go your body will cope up.

This maybe or maybe not be motivation to you but I just want to say that you are going to lose weight not because others are telling you too. But you are going to lose weight for yourself, for your self satisfaction, maybe to even wear your favorite clothes.

Please do not lose hope. Will power is the most important thing. YOU CAN DO THIS. I BELIEVE IN YOU! Also please don't starve yourself though. Do a little research, learn a little about yourself and then start. Patience is key love. I wish you luck 1997s-
