I went north of Virbank City and passed through a gate. On the other side was Pokestar Studios. There were two people waiting for me there. The guy who saw me at the club yesterday and some bald guy who was called Mr. Stu Deeoh.

Stu:"Bonsoir! Hello! I'm Stu Deeoh! Charmed, I'm sure!"

"Right..."

He had to prepare some things as the other guy gave me a tour of the place. He told me that this place was built for making films if that wasn't obvious enough. Though, he did mention that most of the films that are out are made right here. He took me to the theater where we saw Roxie's dad.

Captain:"Oh, if it isn't the scout himself! Thanks to you, I've made my movie debut!"

Is this guy serious?

He then looked at me.

Captain:"And who might you be?"

"Name's (Y/n). I challenged your daughter for the gym badge and this guy saw me."

Captain:"Ah, you beat Roxie. You must be a pretty good Trainer. Hey, they're releasing my film right now. Are you thinking about making a Pokestar Studios debut, too?"

"No. I'm just here to get badges."

Captain:"Oh! Nonsense, come watch my film to gain some tips on a professional such as myself."

"I'd rather not."

He dragged me inside one of the showings and sat me down in the middle row.

The film was called Midlife Man of Justice vs. Brycen-Man. I sighed and leaned my head against my hand and watched the film. The plot revolved around some bad guy named Brycen-Man attacking an amusement park. The captain played a hero called Riolu Man. He beat Brycen-Man's Pawniard and there was some dialogue. I looked around and saw a lot of the theater sleeping. The film ended with Riolu Man losing and a majority of the viewers left before the conclusion.

I looked away and mumbled to myself.

"Yeah that was pretty bad..."

We left the screening and the scout asked how it went. The captain ignored the question and went on a tangent about how he fulfilled his dreams and that different people have different talents. He said he would return to his duties as a captain and left.

"The movie was fucking awful."

Guy:"Whoa, harsh!"

"I'm being honest. It was just awful."

Guy:"Like you could do better!"

"Oh! I could!"

How the hell did I end up here?

I was currently wearing some dumb costume and I was co-starring with some dude named Brycen.

I took a look at the script and tossed it aside.

"Fuck it, I'll just improv."

Brycen-Man:"And who might you be?"

"Hahaha! I am the unmitigated champion of justice! Who tolerates no evil! I am... the Riolu Kid!"

Brycen-Man:"Bah! Some kid can't stop me!"

"We'll just see about that you filthy dirtbag!"

He sent a Pawniard and the Riolu I was using was part of the acting team. Its moves were Force Palm and Ice Punch.

"Riolu, use Force Palm!"

It nodded and made the Pawniard faint."

Brycen-Man:"Grr... a one-hit knockout. But I will still make you kneel before me Riolu Kid!"

"Don't be so sure about that you fiend! Riolu Kid kneels for no one! Apart for myself so I may tie my shoes."

He sent out a Vullaby next.

Brycen-Man:"Faint Attack!"

Vullaby slammed into Riolu but it wasn't very effective.

"Oh you silly fool! Hope you like your nuggets cold! Ice Punch!"

Riolu's fist became covered in ice and he delivered a punch to the Vullaby and knocked it out.

Director:"Cut! We can work wit dat."

Everyone began to get off the set except for Brycen. He walked up to me and smiled.

Brycen:"Some of those lines weren't in the script."

"Yeah the script was pretty bland. I needed to add some spice in there."

Brycen:"I liked that line about the cold nuggets."

He and I shared a laugh before he left to go to his trailer. I went to the dressing room and got back in my normal outfit. I walked out where Stu Deeoh asked if I wanted to release the movie.

"Sure whatever, I don't care."

They finally stopped bugging me and I left Pokestar Studios. Little did I know that my one time performance would become a major hit in the film industry.

I made it back to Virbank City and decided to head to the docks. There, I saw Roxie and Hugh with some of those Plasma dudes or whatever.

Hugh:"You guys are the lowest of the low. Calling yourselves saviors when you're thieves."

"I hope you guys aren't starting the party without me."

They looked at me and smiled. I stepped forward and battled one of the grunts. He sent out a Patrat and I laughed.

"Is this really all you have to offer. I'm honestly disappointed. I figured some wannabe Pokemon activists would have something better than a common Patrat. Ronin, you know what to do."

He nodded and used Razor Shell to one shot the Patrat. Roxie and Hugh beat the other two grunts and they backed away.

Grunt 1:"Run!"

They pushed past us and ran away.

Roxie:"Let's split up! You two go check Route 20!"

Hugh nodded and ran off.

Roxie:"Thanks (Y/n), if you hadn't shown up, I might've gotten my Pokemon stolen."

"I wouldn't say that. You're a tough girl."

She smiled and hugged me. I hugged back and kissed her head since she was shorter than me. We broke the hug and she gave me HM01 Cut. I patted her head as thanks and ran to Route 20.

I saw Hugh on a bridge looking around. I headed down and saw a female grunt hiding around some trees.

Grunt 2:"Oh no. Fine, take this!"

She sent out a Purrloin and I sent out Ronin.

Ronin:"Deeew!"

"Do it."

He used Razor Shell and knocked it out easily. The girl got scared, returned her Purrloin and ran away. Hugh came by and scoffed.

Hugh:"Those assholes sure know how to run away huh?"

"Yeah."

Hugh:"Let's head to the docks at Virbank and see what's up."

"Right."

Roxie was there talking with her dad.

Roxie:"I thought your movie was pretty good."

Captain:"So you saw it... That movie was... No, it wasn't the movie. It was me. I was so excited that I didn't really become Riolu Man! Acting like that won't thrill or excite anyone..."

Roxie:"C'mon! Don't get down! You can keep trying while you continue on as captain! As long as you don't cause anyone trouble, I won't get mad. I don't know how the Pokestar Studios people feel about that, though!"

He smiled and hugged her. They broke apart and Roxie turned around saw me.

Roxie:"Oh! Did you hear that?"

"Yeah."

Captain:"No matter. I will thrill and excite everyone by going through rough waves!"

She nodded as he went inside the boathouse. Roxie then looked at me.

Roxie:"Team Plasma got away. But at least you now you can head to Castelia City."

"Sweet but I'll stay here awhile. After all, there's that open mic tonight."

She smiled and grabbed my hand.

Roxie:"I also saw your movie."

"Oh shit..."

Roxie:"It was cool and funny. I liked that line about the cold nuggets."

I blushed a bit as she giggled.

Roxie:"The audience laughed their asses off too. You might become a star."

"Nah nah nah. I just did it one time for the one time."

Roxie:"That's alright. Now come on Riolu Kid."

She dragged me along and I blushed.

Later That Night

Roxie and I sat by each other at a table as people came and went on the stage and performed. Most of the songs involved Pokemon in some way.

Guy:"Hey, excuse me?"

I turned around and saw some guy a little younger than me.

"Yeah?"

Guy:"I was wondering if you were the guy that played Riolu Kid."

"Yeah, I am. Why do you ask?"

Guy:"I just wanted to say, you were really cool in that movie. You got some serious acting skills."

He took a picture with me and sat with his friends.

"Well that was...something."

Roxie:"Ooh a rockstar dating an actor~ Just think of all the paparazzi!"

"Ah shut it you. It was a one time thing. There's gonna be a new action movie that tops my movie."

Roxie:"I doubt it."

I shook my head and watched the next performer. Then someone came over to Roxie and whispered in her ear. They left and Roxie groaned.

"What's wrong?"

Roxie:"The last act of the night bailed out on us. Everyone is pumped up so we can't just leave them on a cliffhanger!"

"I wish I could help."

She gasped and grabbed my hands.

Roxie:"I got it!"

(Y/n) was backstage sitting on a crate, tapping his foot nervously. Roxie pretty much forced him to go out and be the closing act.

Roxie:"Okay everyone! Thanks for coming out but we have one last act for the night!"

The crowd cheered which didn't help (Y/n) calm his nerves. He walked out on stage and looked at the crowd.

(Y/n):"Hey, thanks for having me here and thanks to Roxie for giving me the confidence to be up here."

He glared at her as she whistled innocently. He took a deep breath and looked at the DJ.

(Y/n):"Throw me a beat."

He did and (Y/n) shocked the audience with his words.

The entire building practically shook from the audience and their cheers.

(Y/n):"Uhh goodnight everyone."

He quickly ran backstage and he was tackled by Roxie. He fell over as she pinned his arms down to the ground.

Roxie:"You were awesome!! Glad I got to you first~"

He just chuckled until she started to lick his neck.

Roxie:"You're just so perfect."

She helped him up and took him to her dressing room for some fun.
