"Hey,what are you thinking?"

"Nothing,El.Just thinking how much I miss you."breathed Will as he whispered in Eleonore's ear,breathing her scent in.

"I miss your vanilla scent and hair,"he said, and planted a kiss on her neck.

Eleonore breathed hard,gasping,"Will."

He moved slowly up,planting kisses along her neck,chin,the corner of her lips and finally her lips.

He started slow and sweet,and the kiss turned fiercer and hungrier.By the time they broke the kiss,both were breathing hard,gasping for breath.

They were now at the second floor of the headquarter,sitting on a couch.The equity pack headquarter was a building located in Myeondong,Central Seoul.Nothing was special about the building.If human passed through,they wouldn't know-not even in their wildest imagination-the building was the equity werewolf's headquarter.

"So,how is the progress between Antoine and that human girl of his?"she asked,leaning her head on his shoulder.

"H-how?"

"I heard rumors of it in my recent trip-a patrol mission from Big Boss-to Jeju Island"she explained.

"More like re-patroling"he rolled his eyes.

"Couldn't blame him.Something is definitely going on there.Winter should be over by this time.It's unusual,something magical must be behind this."

"On Jeju Island?But Antoine and me had gone there,there didn't seem to be any sign of magic there."

"I don't know.Anyway-"she sighed,lifting her head from Will's shoulder and combing her wavy black hair with her long fingers,"words and rumors travel fast,their relationship is no longer a secret."

"When you were away,Big Boss had asked for Antoine's confirmation about his human mate."Will filled in.

"Oh...So Big Boss know now?"

"Yes,and of course,no protection will be provided for that girl"he shook his head a little bit.
"Antoine even went as far as warning Big Boss that no one touch his girl,and from what I saw the last time I was with him,his necklace was gone.He must have given it to her."Will filled in.

"You mean he had marked her?Marking her-giving the necklace-is no small thing.That's the same as declaring her to the world that she is his mate."said Eleonore,shocked.

"Well that's werewolf's tradition.Besides,marking could do her good as well.It will ward off other creatures.Really,I have never seen him so serious before."Will smiled.

"So,where were we just now?"Will teased.

"Umm...saying you miss me?"Eleonore smiled.

"I love you,El"he whispered and leaned in to kiss her deeply.

Soo Min hated to admit it,but the presence of the necklace actually soothed her.
She felt like a part of Antoine was always with her,never leaving her.And that's exactly why she was frustrated.
Why do I feel like this?It doesn't make sense.

It was just two days ago when he climbed in to her room and gave her this necklace.Funny,it felt like a long time ago.

Ever since that,she had felt this unexplainable feelings.Whenever she closed her eyes,she could see him in her mind's eye.The way he looks and smiles at her,the way he moves-so agile-

Okay,stop it Park Soo Min.It's getting crazy.

She got up from her bed and changed into a sweater.It was Sunday,which meant no school.

Winter this year had dragged on much longer than usual.This matter had been mentioned in daily news.There didn't seem to be any sign that winter was near ending.

She reached down to the below of her bed, and grabbed her diary.

Yes,she kept it there on purpose,so that no one would peek into her diary.Not even her mom knew the existence of it.

She picked up a pen from her writing desk which was located beside her bed,and began writing.

Dear diary,

Why am I feeling this way?Is it because I found out that he was that boy I met 3 years ago?

Mom has always warned me not to get involved with the magical world.And if I were to meet one of them,I should distance myself.

But why do I feel...comfortable?I am comforted by his presence.Even his necklace can soothe me.

Shouldn't I fear him?He's a werewolf and I am just a human.

Should I avoid him?Or should I pretend everything is all right?

I don't know what I am feeling right now...It's confusing.

"Soo Min-ah,lunch is ready!"shouted mom from downstairs.

"Okay,mom!"answered Soo Min.

She closed her diary,tucked it safely below her bed and went downstairs.

"Curry rice?"asked Soo Min as she approached the dining table.

"Yes,dear."

Both of them sat down and began eating.

As they ate,her mother gaze stopped on Soo Min's neck.

"Mom?"asked Soo Min,confused by her mom's action.

Then,following her mother's gaze,she looked down to find her necklace dangling down from her neck and making flash of silver as it caught the light from the lamp.

I totally forgot about it!

She quickly tucked it inside her sweater,hiding it from sight.

Did Mom see it?

"What's that?"asked Mom,narrowing her eyes.

"Nothing.Just a necklace,"lied Soo Min.

"That's unusual.You don't really wear accessories."

"Just in a mood to wear it today,I guess," Soo Min shrugged,hoping her Mom wouldn't see through her lies.

"I think I saw something carved on the necklace."

"Must be a trick of light.Nothing on the necklace."

Soo Min quickly ate her curry rice and stood up.

"Going out for a moment,Mom,"told Soo Min.

"Alright,be careful.Remember-"

"I'm not a child,Mom.I'm 18 now.I can take care of myself."

"Right.You're 18 now,"whispered Mom as Soo Min grabbed her winter jacket from the pegs in the living room and went out.

Antoine ears perked up,catching the sound of the front door closing.

He hid from Soo Min's sight as she passed by,wearing a red thick winter jacket.
He followed her from a distance.

Her steps got quicker and Antoine tried to follow her while keeping a distance.

The crowd got thinner as they walked.

She stopped on her tracks and turned around so quickly.

A crash was heard from above Antoine and pieces of glass were falling down like snow.
He looked up and saw the street lamp smashed.

It wasn't normal.A force of magic must be the cause.

He stopped his train of thought when his ears caught the sound of Soo Min breathing hard.

She looked so pale and she was wobbling.
Antoine quickly covered their distance as her legs gave out under her.

He caught her before she hit the snowy ground.
