epilogue
Walking quickly while wearing the sunglasses to avoid the stares she will get, Natasha lowered her dead in case the sunglasses revealed the pitch-black eyes she having right now. Without realization, the half-vampire bumped into someone.
She held to sunglasses closer to her eyes and looked up to apologize. "I'm so sorry, Sir. Are you okay?"
The old man glanced at her before bending down to get his stuff that fell down while bumping into her. "You shouldn't be wearing the sunglasses Natasha, nobody is here."
Shocked at her core. Natasha met eye to eye with the old man who said her name even though she never met him. Looking around her carefully, she felt her heart skip a beat when she noticed he's truly right. There is nobody here. The street is as empty as it is during a pandemic.
"Where did everyone go?" She whispered looking around for a soul before meeting his cold dead eyes. "What did you do?"
The old man chuckled darkly. "Funny how you don't notice your own family, Natasha. Why don't you take a guess?"
"A son of a bitch?" She guessed sarcastically. She will go insane when she spends one minute with him.
"Just like your mother." The elder laughed slightly at Natasha's guess. He looked at her deep into her sea-blue eyes. Making his heart meal when he saw his daughter in her. "I'm your grandfather, Natasha."
"What did you just say?" Impending she hissed. The old man in front of her is her grandfather. The same man who killed her mother and stepfather. The man who destroyed her mother. The man who killed two for being in love.
Noticing how speechless she is. "Surprise!" He said sarcastically with a clap.
"What are you doing here? To kill me?" Natasha was about to attack him but thanks to him vampire powers, he froze her into her place. "Let me go! You—"
"I am here to talk, My favorite granddaughter. Violence is not my intention at this moment."
"What do you want to talk about?" She hissed in anger at him. Glaring at him with her clenched jaw. Natasha was going to kill him at any moment but felt powerless being with him. Like he is controlling her powers.
"I just want to talk to my granddaughter. Is that illegal?" He questioned.
Natasha felt hot. He checks are turning to get as red as the blood. "Then why are you doing this, Grandpa? Why are you using your powers in order to talk to me? What do you really want?"
"Oh no." He chuckled. "I'm being honest, Natasha. I just want to talk to you."
"Then let's talk." She didn't hesitate. "Like how normal people would. Without your powers and bring those people that you vanished back."
"You're hallucinating, Natasha. Look around you. Everyone is here. After we talk you need to go home, take a rest. You need to sleep."
Natasha chocked on-air when she felt her legs numb. She starts to cough and groan when blood starts to come out of her mouth, her heart starts to beat faster than ever. She glared up at her grandfather, before attaching him. She punched him in the face, but it all happened so quickly when she caught her bloody hands.
"You really thought you could attack me, huh?"
"What did you do, you piece of shit?" Natasha yelled at him. She looked around suddenly everyone starts to appear to her. Doing what were they doing before they disappear.
"Is This is what your mother really taught you how you talk to elders? Natasha, I'm very disappointed in both of you."
"Shut up. Shut up!" She glared at him with her tearful eyes. "My mother didn't teach me anything because you killed her!"
She said the last part louder. Her grandfather's brow narrowed. "Your mother is not dead, Natasha. You really believed she would leave you?"
Natasha starts to find it difficult to hear. She starts staring at him with dead eyes. Natasha feels numb.
"Why you talk in puzzle? Is there anything you're hiding from me? Please tell me everything I need to know." She begged. Tears shimmered in her eyes.
"There isn't much to talk about your mother, Natasha. All that you need to know is that she is alive and living healthy with her husband. whoever told you the opposite is lying, I never killed her like how they say. What I did is that I faked her death so she can live in peace with peter.
Happiness. That how she felt. Her mother is alive after all this time. After years of suffering. Her mother is breathing. "Where is she now?"
"I will tell you where is she Natasha, but with one condition."
"Anything!" She agreed immediately. She felt her happy feeling invading her sad one.
"In the few mounts later there will be a huge war against several covens, and you seem to be kind of ruthless when it comes to battles. With your power, Natasha, we can win."
Lowing down her gaze, the half-vampire thought about it. She is powerful. Like her father once told her 'once you lose control, half of the universe is dead'. She can win this war. She makes her family proud. Plus is she agreed, She will be with her mother, after all these years.
"Deal."
Her grandfather chuckled, before shaking her hands in a deal manner. Before he left, he gave the information about her mother's places
"Natasha?" She heard a confused voice being said behind her. "What are you doing here?"
"Allison!" Natasha giggles nervously. "What are you doing here?"
"I was about to go to this store." She pointed at the vintage store. "I see your eyes are back to normal, how was your meal?"
Natasha frown. Being with her grandfather must have taken all the hungriness out of her. "It was good. Delicious to say at least. So Allison's there is something I need to tell you."
The rumor gave the half-vampire a curious look. "What is it?"
"Why don't you go home and tell everyone to be there, it important."
☂️☂️☂️☂️
Natasha paced back and forth, nervously where the front door opened the reveal the Hargreeves siblings. Diego gave Natasha a questionable look before sitting on the couch in front of her. While eyes sat on either the chair of the couch.
"What it the problem, sis?" Klaus Hargreeves asked Natasha who looked at all her siblings with a frowns
". . . My mother who happens to be dead twenty-seven years ago, today I knew she isn't. My grandfather the guy who I thought killed her, he didn't appear."
"That's so great, Natasha!" Vanya smiled at number eight. Her siblings are all happy to hear that
"It's great and you have to idea how happy I'm to find out that my mother is alive, but that's really not what I wanted to say," Natasha informed them.
"Speak it out."
"I'm going to live with her." She finished.
Silence took over this place. All of them shared a look with each other before turning their gaze to Natasha.
"I want to live with her, I realized that I don't want to be part of your mission to find who killed dad," She looked at Luther and Diego. ". . . and the end of the world." Pointed at number five. "I want to live peacefully with my mom."
Klaus chocked on his alcoholic drink. "So what? You're going to leave us now. Please don't, Natasha, you're the only mature person in our family that I can talk to."
Diego decided to step in the conversation. "I think it's a great idea, Natasha. but didn't you thought for a second that your grandfather could have been lying to you?"
". . . I haven't thought about it, but I felt like I could trust him. Please be happy for me."
"We are happy for you, Natasha. But what you said why a surprise for all of us. We know that you are going to visit us but what are we facing right now it's just . . . not the perfect time for it."
"I know Luther, but I can't wait for this all to be done so I can go home. I afraid—"
She was interrupted by angry number five. "Of what, Natasha?"
"Of losing her again." A tear slipped down her cheeks. "I'm afraid that If I don't go and see her tonight I might not be able tomorrow. That's what am I afraid of, Five."
Allison stood up and faced Natasha. The half-vampire was waiting for Allison the yell at her but what shocked her is that what the rumor did is holding her in a tight hug. "I so happy for you Natasha. Don't listen to them and go."
Klaus followed Allison and hugged Natasha tightly. Followed by Diego and Vanya. Number five and Luther stood behind them, observing the scene.
Ending the hug, Natasha gave everyone a smile. "I hope things end well."
Waking out of the room with a sad smile, Natasha wanted to say someone that would probably cheer them up. She turned to look at them.
"I just wanted to say one last thing, Klaus you're worth it, you're loved and the most precious thing. Allison, you're the best sister anyone could ask for. Vanya, you and I didn't have the greatest relationship but I know deep in your heart that you're nice, and I promise you, you're loved. Five, you're an asshole—"
Everyone laughed while five gave Natasha a look.
She continued. "But you are everything to me. Diego I love talking to cause you to make me feel human. You make me feel alive. And lastly, Luther, just behave plus you're an amazing brother."
Tears filled everyone's eyes. "We love you, Natasha."
Natasha gave them her back and walked out of the room. Her heart beating fast. She is leaving for good. Natasha is finally going to find peace. Living with her mother was always what she wanted.
She is finally doing home
