An hour later, everyone was at Everglen, and changed into bathing suits. They raced each other, and played games. They figured out that Keefe was the fastest swimmer, and that Linh and Dex liked each other. The time flew by, and before they knew it, everyone had to leave.

Sophie decided to stay to work on cognate training with Fitz. "What was that secret you said you said you'd tell me earlier?" "Oh yeah! Since Biana was listening to us, I thought you might want to know that she likes Keefe?" "Wait, really? I didn't want to tell her that Keefe liked her, because it seemed like she liked Tam." "Do you want to work on some trust exercises?" "Sure. Which ones have we not done?" "We could do the one where one of us has to jump, and the other person has to somehow catch them." "Oh yeah, the one where Keefe came and begged to catch you, saying he'd only drop you once?" Sophie levitated to the top of Fitz's room, and said, "Ready!" She fell right into Fitz's waiting arms. They did this for about an hour, before Edaline called Sophie's Imparter. "Edaline said that I have to go back to Havenfield. Bye," Sophie said, giving Fitz a quick kiss on the cheek before holding her home crystal up to the light.
