"Evan!" Mini yelps, running up to me. I look up and smile, feeling my tail wag. "What's up?" I ask, and Mini skids to a stop next to me. "Listen, just, can you watch the pups for the afternoon?" Mini pleads, making me scoff. "Why do you need that?~" I snicker, making the smaller wolf blush.

"Just, please?" Mini groans with big eyes. "Of course I will, Min. I'll take them down to the river" I chuckle, bumping my head into his shoulder. "W-without an alpha? What about last time?" Mini asks, looking around kinda nervously. "Don't worry! It was a one time thing. We'll be fine" I smile, even though remembering the two alphas trying to take me back scared the crap out of me.

"Fine, fine. Just be safe" Mini sighs before smiling at me. "Thank you, seriously" Mini smiles, trotting off. Suddenly I see Bea and her brothers running towards me with Bea in the lead. "Evan!" Bea giggles, getting under my paws as her brothers Alex and Ramsey do the best they can to keep up.

"Hey pups! Wanna go down to the river?" I smile, immediately getting three yips of approval. The pups are already off but I run after them, laughing. I find them rolling around in the shallows, splashing water at each other and giggling. I smile and lay on the gravel, watching them play.

Ramsey, the runt of Lui's litter, walks over to me and smiles shyly. "When are you having your pups, Evan?" He asks, sitting between my paws. "Only in two or three weeks" I smile. "Will they play with us?" Ramsey squeaks with a smile. "Of course they will!" I beam, looking up when the playful barking stops.

My eyes widen as the pups run around the paws of an all too fimillar face, asking for his name over and over. "I'm Max, pups" He chuckles, the alpha looking up at me and winking. I feel my blood run cold and I stagger to my feet. "P-Pups, get behind me" I say. The pups all whimper but do as I say, gathering at my ankles.

"Max, leave" I say as strong as I can. Max leans to one side and eyes my neck, which makes me growl. "Finally found someone, eh?" He smirks, stepping closer to me. "Bea, take your brother's home. Now." I growl, and the puppy whimpers before running away with her brothers.

"Those yours?" Max snickers, circling around me as my breathing grows heavier. "I can see you already have more on the way, omega" Max spits out the last word like it's poison and I cringe. "G-Go home Max, this isn't your territory" I stutter, cursing at myself when Max chuckles.

"I don't care. And you're not going to howl or I will kill you where you stand" Max snarls, showing off his teeth. I gulp and try to steady my breathing, I can talk myself out of this. "My mate will know I'm missing once the pups get back to camp. He'll kill you" I say as firmly as I can. "About that." Max chuckles before it turns into a snarl. "You're coming home."

"Th-This is my home. Y-You where the o-ones who kicked me o-out" I stutter, feeling panic overwhelm me. "You c-can't Max I have p-pups on the way and they'll d-die" I whimper at the prospect. "Do you think I care? Our omegas died giving birth. We have no pups. We need you. We'll have someone bite over your mark and reclaim you" Max sneers.

"Y-You can't d-do that! I-I am Jonathan's mate!" I yelp, but Max knocks me over with a swipe of his paw and snarls when I fall over. "I am your alpha, you worthless omega. Get up and come with me or I will kill you and your pups" Max growls. My eyes widen and I scramble to my feet, slowly walking across the river.

I look over my shoulder, at my home, and gulp.

"JONATHAN! JONATHAN!" Bea screams as she runs over to me crying. "Bea! What's wrong?" I gasp, turning human and letting her jump into my arms. "Evan! It's Evan! There-there was an alpha and he-he got Evan! Evan told us to run and I did but he's gone!" She squeals, clawing at my chest.

My eyes turn red and I put Bea down, turning into a wolf. "MINI!" I roar, growling when the omega approaches. "Take your pups and get me Tyler." I snarl. The omega's eyes widen and he runs off with his pups. I throw my head back and howl, praying Evan can hear me. "Jesus Jon are you okay?!" Luke gasps as he and Brian run towards me.

"Evan's gone. I think his old pack wants him back" I pant. Tyler and David come barreling towards me and I fill them in before we're off. "Wait! Wait!" Brock cries, chasing after us. "Brock!" Brian yelps, turning around. "Go back to the cave!" He says. "No! If Evan's hurt I can heal him once we get to him! Think about the pups, Jon" Brock pants.

My eyes widen and so do Brian's, but he shakes his head. "Don't let yourself get hurt" Brian says before Brock joins our ranks and we start running again. "Where is his old pack?! Who are they!?" Tyler asks as we storm through the river, following tracks in the mud. I gulp but keep on running, I can smell fear on this tracks. "I have no idea."
