Alright so one of my best friends is trans and I've known him since 4th grade (I'm now going into 11th). He's one of the most amazing people I know and I would trust him with my life. He started to transition in middle school and had a rough time. There were a lot of times where I was really worried about him, it took a few scary phone calls and a lot of comforting but we've both made it through to high school. He's a great listener and will literally listen to me drone on for hours whether it's about a musical, my crush, or really deep issues. He's basically my personal therapist. We've been there for each other for years now and one of the most amazing things about are friendship is it's not just surface level. Like we hang out all the time and we never post about it on Instagram not because we're ashamed of each other but because we meet up to hang out and talk not to flaunt our friendship. He's one of the most important people in my life and I honestly don't know who I'd be today without him.
