Chapter 4
~Virgil~
I walked into my room and slid down the door bury my face into my hands.
"What was he thinking?" I whispered to myself. I close my eyes and the memories came flooding back, "Come on Virgil. Get it out of your head," I whispered to myself. I looked up from my hands and decided to go to bed and dreams filled with him.
~Roman~
I feel bad for just forced a kiss on him. I walked into the room that I am staying in for the night. I closed the door and buried my face into the blankets and pillows. It's smell like coffee, sweets, and a strong smell of books.
"I love this smell and I ruined the chance of being with him by being so impatient," I sighed. I covered myself up in the blankets and hoping I have dreams of him.
-Morning- Virgil~
I got up and walked out into my kitchen and started to make breakfast for Roman. I finished making breakfast for him and hopped into the shower. I finished my shower got dress and applied my eye shadow under my eyes with my paler foundation. I walked down the stairs and started to work on my stocks. I heard someone walking down the stairs. I looked up from behind the coffee/ café shop counter.
"Thanks for breakfast. I'm sorry about the event from last night," Roman said. I could tell he was sorry about it.
"It's fine, I guess I was shock getting my first kiss by guy and none the less a famous one," I said, finishing filling the coffee pots with coffee beans.
"Wait, I was your first kiss?" He asked in shock.
"Ye- yeah, " I mumbled, rubbing the back of my neck.
"I don't believe you. A hot, handsome, awesome guy like you, had never got a kiss before last night," Roman ranted.
"Wait a minute, I think you must got me confused with someone else," I said, trying to figure out what he just said about me.
"No, I didn't ," he said, moving closer to me. I backed up from him until I hit the wall.
"Um... Roman," I whispered.
"Yeah," Roman said gently.
"Don't-don't you got- got a to go to the-the movie set," I stuttered, cursing myself for stuttering.
"You are right but I will come back on my break," He said, kissing me on the cheek before leaving the building. I slid down to the floor. I heard someone enter the building.
"Virgil, are you here?" They asked.
"Yeah behind the counter," I said. I heard the footsteps coming closer.
"Virgil, are you okay?" Remy asked.
"Yeah, let's just say I had a interesting night and morning," I said, getting off the floor.
"Oh, really because I just saw Roman leaving the building this morning," he said, putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Roman had a break down last night before I closed up. I couldn't let him go home like that," I said, brushing Remy's hand off my shoulder and walked to the book portion.
"Did anything else happen after wards?" Remy asked. I shrugged and continue working. I looked outside seeing the sunrise.
"So, you're not going to tell me," He said, crossing his arms.
"I will when I figure out my feelings," I said, leaning on my arms.
"Really? You know it's better to talk them out then to keep them bottled up," Remy said, handing me some coffee.
"Yeah but I just want to wrap my head around it first," I said, staring down at the cup of coffee. I looked out the window and saw reporters standing outside. I let out a long sigh, "Remy, can you tell them to leave?"
"Will do," Remy said walking outside telling the reporters to leave. I heard my phone go off and I saw it was a unknown number. I picked it up.
"Hello this is Virgil," I said.
"Hello this is Danny, Roman's manger, I was wondering if I could talked to later today during our break," Danny asked.
"Um... sure," I reply.
"Okay, I will let you go," Danny said, hanging up the phone.
"What was that about?" Remy asked.
"I don't have a clue and I don't like the feel of it," I said, getting worried.
"I guess we just have to wait," he sais walking back to his post.
"Yeah waiting," I mumbled. I kept looking at the clock until I saw Danny, Max, and Roman. Roman and Max went to go get their drinks and food. Danny walked up to me.
"So, you wanted to talked to me about something?" I asked.
"Yeah, I heard that you might want to name a drink after my client," Danny said.
"I was joking at first but I realized how often he comes in here and order the same thing everyday," I sigh.
"Well, it might be good for business. But do you want that kind of attention?" Danny asked.
"I don't know. I'm still new to the city," I said, messing with the hem of my sweater.
"I can tell," Danny said, leaving me to my thoughts. I looked over towards Roman's table. I smiled and then focus on something else.
"I can't do that to him," I mumbled. I looked up to see some girls staring at me.
"You're him," the girls squealed.
"Who exactly?" I asked.
"The one," one of the girl said softly.
"Sorry, you must be confused," I said.
"I'm never wrong," She growled.
"Okay but I'm not anyone types," I said, trying to figure away out of this.
"But you are," I heard someone said from behind me. I looked towards the person and saw it was Roman.
"I doubt that," I said, crossing my arms.
"But you are," Roman smile. I shake my head and lean back against the counter, "I'm serious ."
"I'm not trust me. I'm nothing special," I said, remembering that I have to stock the non fiction section. I walked out from behind the counter and started to stock the non fiction.
~Roman~
I watch as Virgil went to the non fiction section. I could tell something is bothering him. I walked over to the non fiction section and watch him work.
"What the hell is wrong with me?" I heard Virgil whispered to himself. I didn't answer his question. Virgil turned around and looked confused when he saw me, "Do you need something?" He asked.
"No, I was just trying to figure you out," I said, moving closer to him.
"Well, if I was you I would stop trying," Virgil said, walking pass me. I grabbed his wrist.
"Virgil, please talked to me. Is there something that I did that made you uncomfortable?" I asked.
"No, I was trying to figure something out and sorry if I seem cold," He said and continue to walk away. I heard Danny calling me.
"It's time to go," Danny said. I nodded and left the building. 'What was Virgil trying to figure out?' I wondered.
