Glossary of Terms

Ambush - This creature may block creatures with trample, first strike, double strike, rage, and/or stealth as if they didn't have those abilities.

Archaic - A deck may only have one of any archaic card.

Combat Casting - This creature may block creatures with trample, first strike, double strike, rage, and/or stealth as if they didn't have those abilities.

Desecrate - Whenever a creature dealt combat damage by this creature would die this turn, exile it instead.

Divebomb - At any time you may pay 2 or U/R. If you do, this creature loses flying and gains double strike until end of turn.

Exotic - A deck may only have two of any exotic card.

Expel - Return target permanent to its owner's hand.

Explosives - Whenever this creature becomes blocked, tap all creatures that blocked it this turn. Whenever it attacks and is unblocked, you may tap target creature defending player controls.

Favored Enemy - When this creature enters the battlefield or gains this ability, choose a creature type. It gets +2/+0 when blocking or blocked by creatures of the chosen type.

Firebreathing - At any time you may pay 2/R. If you do, this creature gets +1/+0 until end of turn.

Heal - Prevent the next X damage that was dealt this turn.

Infiltrator - This creature is unblockable.

Initiative - This creature may be blocked by only creatures with first strike, double strike, ambush, tactics, and/or initiative.

Instigator - This creature can't block.

Intimidate - This creature can't be blocked except by artifact creatures and/or creatures that share a color with it or are colorless like it. (I altered this one to include colorless cards that come in sets I designed after.)

Kinetics - This spell can't be countered by spells or abilities.

Landmark - A landmark counts as a land and when it enters the battlefield, attach it to a basic land you control that is the same type.

Rage - Whenever this creature attacks, it gets +1/+0, and +1/+0 for each creature that blocks it this turn.

Research - Search your library for target card. A library searched this way is shuffled after the action is complete.

Revive - Return target creature from your graveyard to your hand.

Shadowfire - This source's damage counts as both direct damage and loss of life.

Stasis - When you cast this spell from your hand, put it onto the battlefield tapped. You may now cast it by paying its stasis cost. It is now a permanent.

Stealth - Whenever this creature attacks or activates an ability that targets an opponent, it can't be the target of spells or abilities defending player controls.

Tactics - This creature can't be blocked except by creatures with flying, initiative, defender, ambush, and/or tactics.

War Envy - This creature can't attack unless defending player controls one or more untapped creatures able to block it.

Zealotry - Whenever this creature would go to a graveyard from the battlefield, you may shuffle it into your library instead.
