Prologue~
"A long time ago, in a forest afar, lived a small alpha. This wolf was the ruler of all wolves. The wolf's name was Harriot. Over the sick and weak wolves he'd beam and kill. But what a great hunter he was, certainly! Everyday, Harriot would come by with oversized rats, rabbits, and even elk or deer. But one day, that all stopped. Harriot had fallen at the center of the forest. There was a wolf stronger than him. And his name was Xta. This wolf just so happened to be a pup. The strongest of all,"
The glimmering white-furred wolf continued,
"The forest was unfortunately destroyed by Hoo's. Xta was never found again,"
The focused pups gasped and began asking questions.
"I have no idea small ones, it's a legend,"
Ryqety replied.
"That I'm going to be the first to discover on," an apprentice walked through the cave entrance and into the nursery.
"Ha! Like you'd ever find the remains of Yuip! May I wish you the best of luck?" Ryqety shook her head but smirked evilly.
"I don't need the luck you won't give," the apprentice, a grey and black striped wolf, laughed and nudged a pup.
"So you were listening," Ryqety stated.
"Because I've only ever heard this story but a hundred times," Cobui, the apprentice, stepped back and turned around.
"How's the research?" She asked.
Cobui shook her head.
"Okay? I dunno. Nothing that interesting,"
"Is that so? Well shoo! I've got my job to do!" Ryqety exclaimed.
"Oh yes! Right! I've got to get going too! Research can't study itself!" Cobui ran out the door.

Cobui was stopped by an incoming hunting officer.
"Cobui? You shouldn't be here," He said.
"Yeah, I know. But you're not in charge. I need to see Master Ryls," She said, trying to step around he guard.
"No." His tone was very firm and steady.
And loud.
"Ah! Cobui welcome! Billo! Let her in, will you?" A familiar voice shouted.
From the shadows of the night a large wolf stepped out.
Master Ryls.
"U-uh! Master Ryls sir, I came to ask if I could go out for a second. You see-" Cobui was struggling to think of a reason to go out. She needed to find that lost forest. But how?
She wasn't allowed to leave pack premises.
"-I can smell a herd of cattle nearby," Cobui stuck with that. The pack knew she wasn't a bad hunter. And she always knew where the best meat was.
"Fine, Cobui. But make it quick. I have better things to do,".
She nodded and turned around. She looked behind her to see new previous footsteps in the snow. She heard frogs and pups cooing.
"Yes sir. I understand. Thank you!" Cobui was never hesitant toward the leader of the pack, but today just so happened to be a bad day.
Slowly she walked to the front gate.
Edging her way out, the shivering became stronger. Everything was different outside of the pack area.
She was ready for this adventure more than anyone ever was~
