Chapter 27 - Drunken Encounters
"Come on, Parker! It's in here." Erica hurried up to a door.
"I don't like running anymore." Parker groaned.
"Parker, it wasn't that bad." Erica sighed.
"We ran up three staircases."
"We've been running up staircases for four years."
"And I'm still not fit enough to do it." Parker shrugged and stood at the door.
"What a shame." Erica hummed.
"Right, come on." Parker opened the door slightly.
Erica smiled and snuck through the door, seeing all the Gryffindor students sat there.
"Where should we sit?" Parker whispered.
"Behind them, she'll never notice." Erica whispered back.
Parker nodded, walking over. They then saw Ron get picked by McGonagall and held his waist.
Erica held back a laugh and covered her face. Parker smirked and whistled for them. The two looked over and saw the older Weasley twins swaying from side to side.
"We're never letting him forget this." Erica hummed.
"Never." Parker shook her head.
"Now everyone up!" McGonagall urged everyone else, the Gryffindor girls standing up eagerly.
"Should we..?" Erica looked over at Parker.
"I'm not. I know how to dance." Parker chuckled,"Besides, I'm not dancing with Snape when it's our turn."
"Have fun with that." Erica winked.
"I'll stick and watch because I know he'll pick Draco." Parker nodded.
"Eh, it's probably going to be pretty boring for me." Erica shrugged.
"Sprout is nice." Parker hummed.
"That doesn't mean dance lessons are fun."
"You're a little dancing ballerina." Parker danced her way out of the room.
"Gonna let out your 'secret swan'?" Erica rolled her eyes as she followed.
"I used to be a ballerina I'll have you know." She pointed.
"I've never done any sort of dance in my life." Erica shrugged.
"I'll teach you." Parker turned.
"Should I be afraid?" Erica asked.
"Not at all."
"Well, too late."
"I'm not scary." Parker smiled.
"Yeah, and I'm not ginger."
"You are ging- hey!"
"You always fall for things like that." Erica poked her as she chuckled.
"Yeah, yeah." Parker rolled her eyes.

"So... Dancing was interesting. Didn't know Ced could dance." Erica hummed as she sat down.
"What can't he do?" Ron muttered.
"Hm, well you've stumped me there." Erica shrugged.
"I swear you like him more than me." Ron sighed.
"Don't worry, I like you just as much as Cedric." Erica patted his shoulder.
"Thank you." Ron nodded.
"Maybe." She winked.
"Hey!"
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding!" Erica chuckled.
"Good."
Erica smiled and ruffled his hair.
"Um... Erica?" Neville walked up to the table.
"Hm?" Erica turned to look at him.
"Can I talk to you?"
"Of course." Erica nodded,"Privately?"
"Please?"
Erica smiled and stood up, walking to a more secluded area with Neville,"So... What is it?"
"I was wondering... Would you- Would you want to be my date to the Yule Ball?"
"I... I would want that. I'm really glad that you asked me." Erica smiled, gently taking his hand.
"You would?" Neville smiled, his hands were sweaty. He was nervous.
"I would. Just don't tell Hannah, she'll freak out." Erica chuckled.
"What if she finds out?"
"Then she needs to get over herself."
Neville chuckled before he hugged her. Erica hugged back, maybe the Yule Ball was going to be good after all.
"I'm the first to ask, right?" Neville looked at her.
"Nobody else has asked me yet." Erica shook her head.
"Well... You make sure to tell them that I asked you out." Neville pointed.
"Dont worry, I will." Erica assured him.
"Thank you." Neville smiled.
"Now, I'm off to go tell Ron."
"Okay, I'll see you later." Neville waved.
"See you later, Nev." Erica waved before skipping off.

"Guys, I'm gonna head. I gotta meet up with Draco." Parker sighed.
"Have fun with that." Harry shook his head.
"Tell me about it." Parker rolled her eyes and walked off.
"Oh- Parker." Blaise walked up to her,"There's uh, something I've been meaning to ask you recently."
"Yeah?" Parker turned to him.
"Well, would you ever want to go to... The Yule Ball with me?" Blaise asked her.
"You want me to go to the Yule Ball with you?" Parker blinked.
"Yes."
"Yes... Yes. I will." Parker smiled.
"You will?" Blaise blinked.
"Was I your last choice?"
"You were actually my first." Blaise told her.
"Really?" Parker put her hands behind her back.
"Really." Blaise nodded.
"Yes, I'll be your date to the Ball." Parker nodded.
"Great!" Blaise grinned,"Just don't tell Draco, he'll kill me."
"I won't." Parker shook her head.
"I'll see you later then?"
"Later." Parker waved and walked off, quickly going to find Erica.
Erica was wandering past on her trip to find Ron before spotting Parker.
"Erica!" Parker ran up to her.
"Parker, the best thing just happened to me!" Erica grabbed onto her.
"Me too- You first." Parker nodded.
"Right- Neville just asked me to the Yule Ball." Erica told her.
"Oh my- Blaise just asked me." Parker jumped in excitement.
"That's amazing!"
"I don't know what to wear." Parker gasped.
"You'll look good in anything."
"Thanks Er." Parker smiled.
"I'm just stating the obvious." She hummed.
"You'll look great too. I can't wait to see what you wear."
"It'll probably be one of my mum's old dresses."
"We should get ready together." Parker nodded.
"That would make sense." Erica agreed.
"I can't believe this has happened to us." Parker smiled.
"Me either."
"I wonder who the others are gonna take." She hummed.
"Well, I know who wants to take Hermione." Erica smirked,"Krum does."
"Do you think she'll say yes?" Parker raised a brow.
"To Krum? Yes."
"What about Ron? Don't you think he'll want to ask her?"
"Ron's stupid, he doesn't even realize how much he likes her." Erica rolled her eyes,"At least Krum looks like he's putting effort in."
"And he's only been here for a few months." She shrugged.
"He's a little... Awkward around people but he seems nice."
"I've only spoken to him a couple times."
"I know Ron's my brother, but if Krum asks me to help set him up with 'Mione, I would."
"We just need to wait till tonight." Parker nodded.
"It's going to end with someone crying and it won't be me." Erica pointed.
"My bets is... Draco."
"Please, please, please." Erica nodded quickly.
"I'm gonna go find my dress." Parker hummed.
"You do that and I'll... I'll go do something else."
"Just look pretty." Parker smiled and ran off.
"Oh, I'm good at that." Erica called after her.
*********************************
"Has anyone seen Hermione?" Parker walked down the hall.
"Actually, no." Erica shook her head.
"She's always late." Ron rolled his eyes.
"Isn't that usually us?" Harry asked.
"It usually is." Parker agreed.
"Ron, Hermione's always on time." Erica shrugged.
"Well- She's late now."
"Be patient, it takes a while to make yourself look like perfection."
"She won't look perfect.." Ron muttered, turning away.
"You're just mad that Krum asked her first." Erica rolled her eyes.
"Shut up. No I'm not."
"Yes, you are." Erica pointed.
But that's when Hermione began descending the stairs in a beautiful, pink dress. She looked... Perfect.
Parker turned around and looked up,"Woah.."
Erica smiled at Hermione as Viktor walked up to her, taking her by the arm.
"Have fun, 'Mione." Parker waved.
Hermione smiled at Parker as the pair walked off.
"So who do you boys have as your dates?" Parker turned.
"Uh, the Patil Twins-"
"Harry, you need to go with the other champions." Erica nudged him forward.
"Oh crap- Parvati." Harry ran to her.
"Oh, he's screwed." Erica shook her hesd,"C'mon Parker, let's go find our dates."
"Bye Ron." Parker waved and ran in.
"Bye Ron, try not to have too much fun." Erica hummed.
"Shut up." Ron rolled his eyes.
Erica giggled as she followed after Parker to meet Neville.
"Hi girls." Neville waved as he and Blaise stood next to each other.
"Nev." Erica smiled and took his hands.
"You look beautiful." Blaise grinned, looking at Parker.
"Shut up." Parker nudged him with a smile.
"You uh- You look beautiful too, Erica." Neville smiled.
Erica chuckled,"May I have this dance?"
"Of course." Neville took her arm.
Erica happily lead Neville towards the dance floor, leaving Parker and Blaise.
"Well? Would you like to dance?" Blaise asked her.
"I'm not a big dancer... But yes." Parker nodded.
"Good." Blaise hummed, taking her in the direction of the dance floor.
"The question is, can you dance?" Parker raised a brow.
"I'm offended you'd suggest I couldn't, Snape taught me well." Blaise rolled his eyes.
"That man moved two miles per hour."
"That man is a miracle worker."
"Hardly." Parker laughed.
"Have you seen Draco?" Blaise raised a brow,"Sure, he could probably dance before but look at him now."
"He probably got extra lessons." Parker hummed.
*********************************
"Y'know, I've never drank before. Like, alcohol." Erica hummed.
"Never?" Blaise raised a brow.
"Never ever."
"Try it." Parker handed her a flask.
"Are you sure?" Erica asked slowly.
"Everyone has some. You don't need to, some people like it."
"I'll try it." Erica nodded slowly, taking a sip.
"What do you think?" Neville looked at her.
"Its... It's actually alright."
"Yeah?" Blaise looked at her.
"Yeah."
"I can grab glasses for us?"
Erica nodded, still holding the glass Parker gave her.
"Keep it. I'll grab another." Parker assured her.
"Oh- Thanks." Erica smiled, continuing to drink.
Parker walked off before she shortly returned with a drink.
"What if... We did a drinking game?" Neville suggested.
"What's that?" Erica asked.
"We could do... Never have I ever. If you haven't done it then you drink." Neville explained.
"I see, that sounds fun."
"Who wants to start?"
"Parker." Erica pointed.
"Me?" Parker blinked.
"You."
"Okay um... Never have I ever... Not slept with stuffed animals." Parker shrugged.
Erica shrugged and finished her drink,"Still do."
Parker took a drink, then Neville took a drink as well. Blaise shook his head.
"Aw, we'll make sure to get you one." Erica patted his shoulder.
"Nah, I'm fine." Blaise shook his head.
"Trust me, you'll love it."
"I don't really-"
"Too late."
"What?"
"You're getting one, next question." Erica shrugged.
"Erica, you go." Parker hummed.
"Hm, never have I ever... Been woken up peacefully." Erica took a drink
They all took a drink. This continued for a while until they were all pretty drunk or tipsy.
"Wow... Just- Wow." Erica was looking around.
"Is this your first time getting drunk?" Blaise looked at her.
"Blaise- My parents don't do alcohol in the house. I am... I am somewhere."
"You're somewhere safe." Parker hugged her arm.
"It's pretty." She hummed.
"Yeah?" Parker smiled,"You're pretty."
"Aw, thank you."
"Should we get them back?" Neville turned to Blaise.
"Definitely, before they hurt themselves." Blaise nodded.
"Shush." Parker pointed at them.
"C'mon Parker, let's go to bed." Blaise stood up.
"No." Parker whined.
"Erica." Neville gently took her arm.
"I don't wanna go." Erica sighed,"I need to watch Ronnie look stupid."
"Parker, you're going to bed." Blaise pointed.
"I heard there was fireworks, I wanna stay for them." Parker lifted her dress.
"You can watch him be stupid later." Neville took her hands.
"Fine, but only because you're pretty." Erica crossed her arms.
"Look, you can see fireworks another day." Blaise sighed .
"I'm... pretty?" Neville looked at Erica.
"Promise?" Parker asked.
"You're pretty." Erica smiled at him.
"Pinky promise." Blaise nodded.
"So are you Erica." Neville took her hands.
Parker took his pinky, standing up,"Bye Erica, bye Nev."
"Bye bye, Parker." Erica waved at her.
"Come on." Neville gently tugged Erica.
"Coming." She rolled her eyes.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Neville walked.
"I'm fine, I'm fine." Erica assured him, shaking her head.
"How many fingers am I holding up?" He held four fingers up.
Erica squinted,"That's like... That's like eight. How are you doing that?"
"Four fingers." Neville sighed,"Let me walk you to your common room."
"Yay. Can you stay? Pretty please?"
"I don't know if I can stay- I might get in trouble.'
"Aw.. But I want you to stay."
"Are the Hufflepuff rules different?" Neville looked around.
"Well- No. But I want you to stay."
Neville bit his cheek before he nodded,"Okay."
"Thank you!" Erica hugged him.
Neville chuckled and rubbed her back,"Come on."
"I'm coming."
Once they got to the Hufflepuff common room, they had managed to get into Erica's room without being noticed.
"You're keeping your plants alive." Neville smiled.
"Because I promised, Weasleys don't break promises." Erica flopped onto her bed.
Neville looked around,"I don't... What will I wear?"
"I've got a bunch of hoodies that don't fit."
Neville nodded slowly,"Hannah won't be here, right?"
"She better not, I'll fight her."
"I'm sure you will." He stroked her hair.
"C'mon." Erica tugged on his arm,"Find something and join me."
Neville gave a small smile, turning to the drawers and grabbing a jumper, putting it on before joining her on the bed.
"It's just the two of us, huh.." Erica wrapped her arms around him.
Neville hummed,"Y-Yeah. All alone.."
Erica looked up at him,"You know you want to."
"I don't have- I've never- I don't have protection." He whispered.
"It doesn't matter- Just once. Please?"
Neville bit his cheek before he nodded, leaning in and kissed Erica. Erica kissed back, wrapping her arms around Neville's neck. Neville moved to hover above her, never breaking contact.
*********************************
"Parker, stop dragging your feet. You need to go to bed." Blaise sighed.
"But I'm wide awake, Blaise." Parker hummed as she looked out the window.
"That's the alcohol talking, darling. You won't be saying the same in the morning when you're grumpy and hungover." Blaise shook his head.
"Darling... I like that." Parker walked over to him.
"Did I say that? Nevermind- Bed."
"You called me darling~" Parker giggled and held his arm.
"Do I have to carry you to bed myself?" Blaise rolled his eyes.
"No." Parker ran ahead.
"Babe, don't trip." Blaise sighed, walking after her.
"What would we do if Draco found us?" Parker turned around and walked backwards.
"Uh- I'd probably cry." Blaise shook his head.
Parker pouted,"No crying."
"If I even considered heading into your room with you, he'd kill me."
"But he can't get in my room so he wouldn't know." Parker held out her hands.
Blaise sighed,"You have a point there."
"Exactly." Parker leaned closer to him.
"Woah, moving a little quick now, aren't we?" Blaise looked around.
Parker looked up at him,"Come on then." She took his hand and pulled him to the common room.
"Parker, you're going to bed." Blaise told her.
"I will." Parker nodded.
"And going to sleep?"
"Do you want to sleep?" They walked into the common room.
"I'm not as drunk as you, Parker. You need sleep."
"I'm fine... Can you stay with me?"
"Well, I suppose I could." Blaise nodded.
"Really?" Parker smiled.
"Really, now get into bed." Blaise pointed.
Parker walked into her room, laying back on her bed. Luckily Pansy was out.
Blaise sat on the bed beside her,"This good?"
"Very good." Parker turned and wrapped her arms around him.
Blaise chuckled and stroked her hair,"You're enjoying this."
"It's the first time we've been alone together... So close to each other." Parker whispered.
"Well.. What are you implying?" Blaise asked.
"What do you think?" Parker smiled softly.
"Well, are you sure? You're drunk and- I don't want you to regret this tomorrow." Blaise looked at her.
"I won't regret it. I know what I want... I want you."
"If you're sure." Blaise leaned in and kissed her.
Parker was quick to kiss back, gently cupping his cheek. Blaise slowly wrapped his arms around Parker before moving to hover over her
