Chapter 25 - Four Champions?
Later on in the evening, everyone had gathered in the Great Hall for dinner. The Herd had managed to sit next to each other at the Gryffinfor table.
"Well, has everyone had a good day?" Erica asked.
"Mhm. Some of the other students have transferred into our classes." Hermione told them.
"Ooh, which ones?"
"I think I saw one in potions." Parker looked at them.
"They all seem to be getting along with everyone." Harry nodded.
"I've got on with a girl called Sana." Parker hummed.
"I haven't spoken to any of them yet." Erica sighed.
"Some of them are nice." Ron shrugged.
"I need to talk to them... I'll get around to it." Erica took a sip from her glass of water
"Just take your time." Parker rubbed her arm as Dumbledore stood.
"The moment you've all been waiting for... The champions of this years Triwizard Tournament." Dumbledore announced.
"I hope Ced is Hogwarts' champion." Erica hummed.
"We'll just need to see." Harry sat back.
Just like that, the Goblet spewed out red fire and a piece of paper flew out and fell into Dumbledore's hand.
"The Durmstrang Champion... Viktor Krum."
"Of course it is." Parker rolled her eyes as the Durmstrang boys cheered and Krum walked to the front.
Then the Goblet turned red again and another piece of paper fluttered down.
"The Champion from Beaubatons... Fleur Delacour."
Some cheers were heard from the girls at the Beaubatons table as Fleur walked up to Krum.
"Now for the Hogwarts." Ron tapped on the table.
Just then, the goblet turned red for the final time and down flew the last piece of paper.
"And for the Hogwarts Champion... Cedric Diggory!"
"Yes! Cedric!" Erica clapped.
Cedric was cheered on by his peers, joining the other two champions... But as he did, the fire from the goblet roared and another paper flew out.
Dumbledore caught it and looked around slowly,"Harry Potter?"
"Harry?" Hermione quickly turned.
"He's only fourteen, how- You can't have put your name in the goblet." Parker blinked.
"We've been with him the whole time." Erica shook her head.
"Well, he's in, isn't he?" Ron rolled his eyes.
Harry slowly stood and walked forward to Dumbledore, them sharing looks before Harry left to join the others.
"Well... That's not gonna go down well." Erica glanced over at the Hufflepuff table.
"Fuck." Parker whispered.
"They're gonna be really angry."
"If they say anything bad to you, let me know. Okay?" Parker looked at her.
"Okay." Erica nodded.
"Let's head back to our common rooms." Hermione suggested.
"Yeah.. Night, you two." Ron nodded as he got up.
"Night." Parker waved, the duo walking off only to be stopped by Max... Again.
"How come your Potter friend got in if he's only fourteen?"
"Don't ask me, I don't know." Erica raised her hands.
"You five are always up to something." Max scoffed.
"No, we just get caught up in it." Parker shrugged.
"Not everything bad that happens is our fault." Erica crossed her arms.
Max glared at Erica,"Sure."
"It's not." Erica looked away from him.
Max rolled his eyes before he walked off.
"I don't like him." Parker watched as he walked away.
"Don't worry, nobody in Hufflepuff really does." Erica shook her head.
"How did he even get into Hufflepuff?" Parker scoffed.
"He's hardworking... Working hard at making people miserable." Erica stuck her tongue out.
Parker chuckled,"Goodnight Erica."
"Night night, Parker." Erica waved as she headed towards the common room.

The next day, Parker was walking along the hallway to go to the library, she had a free period.
Already in the library was Blaise, engrossed in a book. Parker bit her cheek, walking up behind Blaise and covering his eyes.
"Who's there?" He hummed, putting his hands on her's.
"The more likeable Malfoy?" Parker raised a brow.
"Parker." He smiled,"Draco's hands are cold."
"Mine are warm?" Parker removed her hands and sat next to him.
"Well, warmer than his." Blaise shrugged.
"I've got a warmer heart." Parker hummed.
"True that." Blaise chuckled.
"So what brings you to the magical library?"
"To read."
"No shit sherlock." Parker chuckled.
"You asked." Blaise hummed.
"What are you reading then?"
"Oh, nothing much. It's Romeo and Juliette."
"Romeo and Juliette." Parker sighed,"You like your classics, don't you?"
"I do." Blaise closed the book.
"I do sometimes... Some new books are cool though."
"I just love all books, there's so much... Variety."
"I know." Parker looked at him,"Ever thought about being a librarian?"
"Hm, but if i was a librarian, would I see you every day?" Blaise asked.
"I'd come and see you." Parker smiled.
"That's nice." Blaise smiled back,"Well, what brings you here? Just came to see me?"
"I needed some books for class but I found you." Parker put her hands on her chin.
"And aren't I just so much better?"
"So much better." Parker leaned her head on his shoulder,"So... I noticed you and Pansy were getting close."
"You noticed Pansy getting bored of Draco and trying to get closer to me." Blaise shook his head,"Just friends, if that."
"So you're telling me you don't like Pansy as more than a friend?... She manages to get loads of guys." Parker sighed.
"She doesn't want those guys." Blaise assured her,"And she doesn't want me."
Parker nodded slowly.
"Trust me, Pansy is... She's more interested in other people."
"Oh yeah? Are... Are you interested in other people?" Parker looked at the page.
"Shh, that's a secret." Blaise winked.
"Oh, so you do like someone?" Parker gasped.
Blaise chuckled,"Maybe."
"And you're not going to tell me? Wow Blaise, does our friendship mean nothing to you?" Parker joked, putting her hand over her heart.
"Let's just say Draco would not be happy if he knew." Blaise hummed as he got up.
"It's my mum, isn't it?" Parker laughed,"Or my dad. I always knew you were into long haired men.c
"Of course it's your dad, he's so... Attractive." Blaise held back a laugh.
"Just your type." Parker smiled.
"Exactly my type."
Parker stood up,"I'll talk to you later, I'm gonna grab those books I need."
"Have fun, see you soon." Blaise waved as he walked off.
Parker watched Blaise as he walked off before she turned away.

Erica sighed as she headed down the hallway, she'd managed to leave her common room with no incidents. That's when she saw Draco and his brat pack behind him, pushing Neville to the side.
"Hey! Malfoy!" Erica sped up, heading towards them.
"What do you want, Weasley?" Draco rolled his eyes.
"I want to know what you're doing." Erica crossed her arms.
"Talking to my good friend Longbottom."
"Well, I've already spotted two lies. You're really good at this." Erica smiled.
"Aren't I?" Draco smirked,"Look Longbottom, girlfriend's saved you."
"We're not a couple." Neville shook his head.
"Malfoy, leave him alone."
"Isn't it cute?" Draco laughed and walked off.
Erica glared after Draco before turning back to Neville,"Did he hurt you?"
"Just some pushes... Sorry Er." Neville sighed.
"Don't be sorry." Erica shook her head,"It's Malfoy that's going to be sorry."
"Don't do anything, I don't want you getting hurt." Neville put a hand on her shoulder.
"But he's been hurting you, you don't deserve that.' Erica cupped his face.
"Used to it now." Neville slightly leaned into her hands.
"But you shouldn't be.."
"I know... But you got there in time."
"But what if I hadn't, Nev? He could've done much worse." Erica hugged him,"I care about you, okay?"
"I care about you too." He smiled.
"I'm not going to let anyone else hurt you, I promise."
"You don't need to worry about me." Neville assured her.
"But I am worried about you, everyone just... They take advantage of you."
"I'll be fine." Neville shook his head.
"Still, I'm here for you."
"As am I." Neville rubbed her arm,"How are you?"
"I'm alright." She sighed.
"Has anyone been bothering you?"
"Not today."
Kayleigh
"Good. Because if anyone bothers you I'll talk to them too." He pointed.
"You don't need to do that for me." Erica shook her head.
"You're my friend... One of my best. Of course I would."
"Nev, I'll be fine. I always am."
Neville sighed and leaned against the wall.
"Look, everything will be fine." Erica told him.
"I hope so." Neville nodded.
"It will."
"What classes do you have later?" Neville looked at her.
"Hm, I'm not sure." Erica paused to think.
"You're always forgetting." Neville chuckled.
"Well, what do you have?" Erica asked.
"I have... Care for Magical Creatures... New teacher." He nodded.
"Oh, I feel sorry for you."
"I wish Hagrid could do it." Neville sighed.
"Me too."
"Don't you keep a paper copy of your schedule in your pocket?"
"I lost it."
"I'm sure McGonagall will print you another one." He hummed.
"Well, I can worry about that later. And since you're safe, I'll go find Parker." Erica smiled.
"Okay... If you need anything, you know you can come to me."
"Of course."
"Bye Erica." He waved.
"Bye Nev." Erica smiled as she walked off.
