Chapter 23 - Quidditch World Cup
The Dursleys were in the back garden, enjoying the sun and summer while Harry stayed in the kitchen as he looked for some food.
That's when the phone started to ring.
Harry looked out the back door, making sure the Dursleys didn't hear it before he answered it,"Hello?"
"Harry!" Ron shouted down the phone,"Can you hear me?"
"Woah- I think half of Surrey can hear you."
There was a brief scuffle before another voice came through the phone.
"Sorry- He still doesn't know how to use this thing." Erica sighed.
"Hi Erica." Harry held his head,"What's going on?"
"Well, are you coming to the Quidditch World Cup or not. You haven't answered any of my letters!"
"I haven't been getting them."
"Well, I sent them." Erica crossed her arms,"Tell you what, how about we come get you?"
"When?"
"... Now?"
"Now?" Harry's eyes widened.
"Now!"
"Okay, let me pack."
"Pacl quickly, well be there soon."
"Okay." He sighed and hung up, running upstairs.
Harry quickly began to pack what he thought he'd need and before long... He heard a crash coming from the living room.
"Oh no." Harry cursed and ran downstairs with his case.
That's when he saw Erica, Ron, Fred, George and Mr Weasley stood in the living room, and the fireplace that was once boarded up was now a mess.
"Uh... Welcome." Harry waved while Vernon ran in
"What the bloody hell is going on in here?" Vernon yelled. Erica hid behind Ron, she didn't like him.
"Mr Dursley! I'm Arthur Weasley. It's nice to finally meet you." He held out his hand.
Uncle Vernon glared at Mr Weasley,"This is breaking and entering."
"Not really- We asked Harry."
"You brought them here?"
"Mr Dursley, may I ask what the function of a rubber duck is?" Arthur asked.
"What the- Potter, get your freaky people out of my house." Vernon ordered.
Meanwhile, Erica nudged Fred. Fred then smirked and dropped a small bag of sweets.
"Oh." Erica acted surprised and tried to pick them up,"So clumsy."
Dudley noticed and as discreetly as he could, snatched a couple.
"Nice one." George whispered to his siblings.
Erica smiled as she watched Dudley eat the sweets and... His tongue began to swell.
"I'm afraid we have to go Vernon. It was lovely meeting you." Arthur grabbed his floo powder.
But Vernon turned and noticed what was happening to Dudley as Erica giggled.
"Harry, quickly here now." Arthur quickly rushed him over, he was going to kill his kids.
Harry looked between the two families before walking over to the Weasleys. Arthur quickly flicked his wand to fix Dudley's tongue before leading the others to the fireplace.
"The Burrow." Arthur threw the powder to the ground.
They soon arrived at the Weasley house where Erica and the twins started laughing.
"What have I told you?" Arthur pointed.
"Dad, you wouldn't let us test them on Ron." Erica shrugged,"So why not test them on someone nobody likes?"
"It's still bad." Artur waved them off.
"But it was fun." Fred pointed.
'And it worked." George added.
"But now he'll dislike us even more." Arthur shook his head.
"He didn't like us anyway." Erica shrugged.
"Just- Go. All of you." Arthur sighed.
"We'll take you up to our room." Ron took Harry's arm.
"Hermione's here too, Harry." George told him.
"She's in Ginny's room." Fred nodded.
Erica, Ron and Harry walked upstairs to the youngest twins room, split down the middle.
"This is our room." Ron hummed.
"Welcome." Erica smiled.
"It's very homey." Harry nodded.
"Just the way we like it." Erica hummed.
"Why is there a line?"
"Becayse this is my side, and that is Erica's side." Ron pointed.
"Who's idea was that? Erica?" Harry guessed.
"Well- We're getting older and I wanted my own space." Erica shook her head.
"But to half the room?" Harry blinked.
"Look, it works." Erica crossed her arms.
"Okay! Okay." Harry crossed his arms.
Erica sat on her bed, arms still crossed. She knew why she was acting this way but didn't really want to tell Harry.
"You're back- Harry!" Hermione ran in and hugged him.
"Mione-" Harry was taken aback but hugged her.
"Sorry." Hermione chuckled as she pulled away.
"Its fine, I missed you too. All of you." He smiled before turning to Ron,"So, when's the cup?"
"Soon, but that means you get to hang out with us in the meantime." Ron nodded.
"So what's everyone done so far?" Hermione crossed her legs as she sat on the floor.
"Well, I've been practicing Quidditch and chess and Erica's been at the doctors and Cedric's house."
"The doctors?" Hermione asked.
Erica nodded slowly,"Remember how I said that... My parents wanted to get me tested?"
"Yeah?" Harry raised a brow.
"Well... A couple days ago I was diagnosed."
"You're not dying, right?" Hermione held her arm.
"No- No, Sherie isn't that kind of doctor." Erica shook her head,"She told me I.. I have autism."
"Oh!... Okay." Hermione nodded slowly.
Erica looked around the small group, almost... Embarrassed. She didn't want to be treated any differently.
"I thought something was wrong there, Er." Harry chuckled.
"You're all... Okay with it?"
"Of course we are. I mean... It's not a problem."
Erica smiled softly. Things went better this time. Now the only person she had to tell was Parker.
"I don't know about you all, but I'm pooped." Ron sighed.
"Becaude you stayed up all night talking about Quidditch." Erica rolled her eyes.
"Because we're seeing Krum!" Ron pointed.
"Oh, Krum. The love of your life, I know." Erica laid off her bed, hanging upside down.
"He's not the love of my life." Ron shook his head.
"I don't know Ron, you seem pretty in love." Harry hummed.
"I mean, you are always taking about him." Hermione agreed.
"I accept you for who you are, Ronnie." Erica giggled.
"Shut up." Ron groaned.
"Its okay, Ron. Mum and dad will understand."
"I'm not gay!"
'You're not?"
"I'm not gay."
"Hm... Okay, we believe you." Erica nodded slowly.
"Thank you." Ron sighed.
'Well, now what?" Harry looked between them.
"Now, I sleep." Ron went under his covers.
"Night night." Erica nodded.
"Where am... I sleeping?" Harry blinked.
"Uh..."
"There's the little couch there... If you want that?" Ron sighed from the bed.
"I'll take the little couch." Harry nodded.
"Sorry Harry, I know it's not that good." Ron shook his head.
"I've slept in worse places than your couch, it's fine." Harry assured him.
"I'll get mum to get you blankets and a pillow."
"Thanks, Ron."

"Morning Weasleys and friends." Arthur walked into the kitchen.
"Morning dad." Erica hummed.
"We all packed?"
"All packed." Ron nodded.
"Who are they?" Harry whispered to Erica.
"Those are our oldest brothers, Bill and Charlie." Erica walked over to them,"They don't bite. Well, maybe not Bill."
"I would." Charlie raised her hand.
"Please don't bite, Harry." Erica sighed.
"I won't, I promise." Charlie smiled.
"Good to know." Harry nodded.
"Alright, are we all ready?" Bill clapped his hands.
"All ready-"
"Wait- Percy isn't here yet." Erica stopped Ron.
"Is Percy even coming?" Ron blinked.
"He said he was." Charlie shrugged,"But I wouldn't mind if he stayed to write that report on cauldron bottoms."
"The report is pish." Fred rolled his eyes.
"Complete rubbish." George agreed,"Just- Shout on him or something."
"Percy!" Fred shouted.
"Coming." Came a dull voice from upstairs.
"We're leaving without you if you don't hurry." Ginny sighed.
It took a couple minutes but eventually he showed his face in the kitchen.
"You could've at least brushed your hair." Bill ruffled his hair.
"Or showered." Charlie masked his comment with a cough.
Bill nudged him with a chuckle.
"You got your bag Perce?" Arthur grabbed his cane.
"Got it." Percy lifted up his small bag.
"Now come on all of you." Arthur nodded and walked.
The group of Weasleys gathered their things and began to leave the house.
"First one to meet Cedric wins." Ron slapped Erica.
"Hey!" Erica ran after him.
After a while, they saw Cedric and Amos in the distance.
"Ced!" Erica called to him.
"Erica!" Cedric laughed.
"I win." Erica hummed.
"You win what?"
"Nothing." Erica hugged him.
"How are you?" Cedric hugged her, ruffling her hair.
"I'm good." She smiled.
"I missed you." He hummed.
"I missed you more."
"How was the doctors?"
"Oh, it was okay." Erica nodded slowly.
"You wanna tell me about it?"
Erica nodded, holding onto his arm.
"We're just walking ahead." Cedric told the others as they walked.
Erica sighed as they made some distance,"l got a diagnoses, and no, I'm not dying."
"Okay... What was it?"
"Well, they told me I have autism."
"Autism?" He nodded slowly.
"Yeah..' Erica looked off to the side.
"Oh... Well, I'm glad you finally got the diagnosis." He smiled.
"It explains quite a bit."
"It does. But I still love you." Cedric hummed.
"I'm glad." Erica hugged him.
"So you exicted?" He hugged her back.
"Very." She grinned.
"Come on." Cedric hummed.

Erica looked around excitedly as they arrived at the Quidditch World Cup.
"Everything okay? Is it too loud for you?" Arthur asked Erica, he wanted her to be comfortable.
"No, no, I'm good." Erica assured him.
"Good. If it is, you let me know straight away." Arthrur smiled.
"I will." Erica nodded, she liked knowing that he cared.
"I love our seats!" Ron laughed.
Then came a voice from below them,"Put it this way, if it rains, you'll be the first to know."
"Lucius." Arthur sighed and looked down.
"We're in the Minister's box! Personal invitation by Cornelius Frudge himself!" Draco called up with a smirk.
Parker was in front of the two, her looking up at her friends, giving them a small look. She'd join them soon.
"Don't boast Draco." Lucius nudged him with his cane.
Draco dropped his smirk and held his ribs.
"Do enjoy yourself, while you can." Lucius grabbed Harry's leg.
Harry gave Lucius a look before they continued up the stairs.
"I hate that man." Arthur sighed.
"So do I." Erica nodded.
"Please don't ever go to his house, okay?" Arthur pointed.
"Dont need to tell us twice." Ron shook his head.
After a few minutes, Erica felt someone grab her arm.
"This could either be good or bad for me." She turned, having an idea of who was there.
"Hi." Parker smiled.
"Parker." Erica smiled at her.
"I missed you."
"I missed you more."
"How was summer?" Parker hummed.
"It was okay." Erica nodded slowly.
"Well, I'm standing with you lot now." She clapped.
"Good." Erica smiled.
"Hi guys." Parker waved to the trio.
"Hey Parker." Harry waved back.
"How was summer?"
"Decent." Harry nodded,"But I was stolen yesterday so that's great."
"Stolen?" Parker blinked.
"We took him from the Dursleys." Erica smiled.
"Very fun." Parker nodded,"You should steal me from my house sometime."
"I will." Erica smiled.
"Thank you. I'd gladly be kidnapped by you." Parker held her hand.
Erica squeezed her hand,"Well, there's actually another thing I need to tell you."
"Hm?" Parker looked at her.
"Remember how I told you about the doctors? And that it would be easier to say in person?"
"Oh- Yes! How did that go?"
"Well, Sherie told me I have autism." Erica told her.
Parker nodded slowly,"I'm glad you finally got your diagnosis." She squeezed her hand,"If you ever feel stressed- Or anything like that please let me know cause you know I'll always try to help you."
"This is why you're my best friend." Erica hugged her.
"I'm your best friend?" She gasped.
"Hm... Yes." Erica nodded.
"Wanna know a secret?" Parker asked.
"Mhm."
"You're my best friend too." Parker smiled.
"Yay!" Erica giggled.
Parker chuckled and turned towards the arena as the game began. Erica smiled as the players flew out onto the field. This was going to be amazing!

"Feet off the table!" Arthur groaned as he looked at his eldest twins.
"Feet off the table." They repeated, removing their feet from the table.
Ron then jumped onto the table, wearing the Bulgarian flag on his back,"There's no one like Krum! He's like an Eagle."
"Think you're in love, Ron?" Erica hummed.
"Viktor, I love you~ Viktor, I do." The twins sang.
"When we're apart, my heart beats only for you." Harry and Ginny joined in.
All of the teenagers laughed as Ron rolled his eyes, sitting down. Arthur began to light the fire before he paused, looking out of their tent as he heard a loud noise
"What's that?" Parker got up.
"Sounds like the Irish have got their celebrations started." George smiled.
"I don't think that sounds like the Irish." Parker looked out the tent,"We need to go."
"You boys looked after Ginny." Arthur pointed to his oldest boys as they left the tent,"Everyone, try to stick together!"
Parker quickly ran over to Erica and grabbed her hand as they all ran out. As they did, cloaked people with masks were walking by, carrying torches as they set fire to tents.
Erica was confused, she didn't understand what was going on. Everything was all happened at once, it was so loud..
"What are these?" Harry looked around.
"Death Eaters." Parker panicked as she ran.
"Death Eaters? Why are they here?" Ron questioned.
"I don't know." Hermione shook her head,"Harry keep- Harry?"
"No- Did we lose him?" Ron turned slightly.
"Shit." Parker cursed,"We all just need to stick together."
"I can't see.." Erica held onto Parker tightly.
"I know, just try to stay calm." Parker assured her as they managed to find cover.
"Trying.."
"Everyone here?" Hermione looked at them.
"Aside from Harry." Ron nodded.
"Cover ourselves up, just stay hidden." Parker sighed as they covered themselves with remains of tents.
Erica occasionally peered out, trying to spot anyone they knew.
After what felt like hours, they heard the Aurors shouting it was okay for everyone to come out. Erica stood up quickly, pulling Parker with her as she looked for Harry.
"Eyes out for Harry, hopefully nothing's happened to him." Ron looked around.
"Guys!" Harry ran up to them,"Look, up there."
"What-" Hermione began as they all looked up.
The thing in the sky, was a skull with a snake coming out of its mouth.
"That... Uh oh.." Erica shook her head.
That's when the Ministry wizards began surrounding them, firing their wands and the Herd quickly ducked down.
"Stop! Stop, those are my kids!" Arthur ran towards them.
"Which one of you did it?!" Barty Crouch Sr shouted as he pointed his wand at the Herd.
"What-" Harry blinked.
"You've been discovered at the scene of the crime!"
"The dark mark... His mark." Parker sighed.
"They're just kids, Barty." Arthur shook his head.
"You're fine... For now." Barty Crouch Sr pointed before he left with his gang of aurors.
"I don't like him." Erica mumbled, shaking his head.
"No one does." Parker assured her,"Can we go?"
"It'll all be alright." Arthur nodded as he began leading them away.
