Chapter 11 - Weasley Rescue
"Are you sure we have everything?" Ron asked his siblings as the car pulled up to Harry's house.
"Well, the twins double checked so.." Erica trailed off.
"You do realise Parker will need to squeeze in, right? The car only seats five." Ron shrugged.
"Parker will fit." Erica assured him.
"Alright you two, stop yapping and knock on the window." Fred pointed.
"Alright you two, stop yapping and knock on the window." Fred pointed.
Ron sighed and leaned out of the car, knocking on Harry's bedroom window.
Harry got up fron his bed and opened it up,"Ron, Erica? Fred and George?"
"Hi Harry!" Erica smiled at him.
"What are you doing here?"
"Rescuing you, of course." Ron told him.
"Why haven't you been answering Ron's letters? We've asked you to stay about twelve times, and then Dad came home and said you'd got an official warning for using magic in front of Muggles." Fred raised a brow.
Harry sighed,"Its a long, long, story."
"Grab your case." Ron nodded.
Harry disappeared from sight before soon returning with his case and a cage with Hedwig.
"Right hurry" Ron leaned out of the window and took Hedwig.
"I am hurrying." Harry went to climb out as footsteps could be heard.
"Not fast enough pal!" Fred looked back as he saw Dursley run in.
"Petunia! He's getting away!"
"Jump!" George called to him.
Harry went to jump but his legs were grabbed by his Uncle, he was kicking his feet but it was no luck. Ron leaned out of the open door and pulled Harry.
"Come on Erica, you're the strong one." George leaned over and pulled Harry.
Erica sighed and grabbed Harry as well. Everyone did one last tug and Harry fell into the car.
"See? That wasn't too hard." Erica smiled.
"Bye!" Harry laughed to the Dursleys as Fred drove off.
"You better not crash after this, Fred." Ron sighed.
"I won't! I'm a great driver." Fred nodded.
"Tell that to the tree you nearly hit." George coughed.
"Shut up." Fred shoved him.
"Who's car is this?" Harry turned to his friends.
"It's dad's, he got it from work." Ron told him.
"You stole his car?"
"I wouldn't say steal. More like... Borrowed." Erica smiled,"We'll give it back."
"In one piece, hopefully."
"Come on boys, we have another stop before home."
"Oh yeah, we're going." Fred hummed as he turned, on his way to the Manor.
"Where are we going now?" Harry raised a brow.
"Malfoy Manor. Erica wants to get Parker." Ron sat back.
"Mhm, she wrote me and everything." Erica nodded.
"And your parents don't mind us all coming to your house?" Harry looked at the Weasleys.
"Well, we didn't ask but I'm sure they won't mind." Fred shrugged.
"So... They might get mad." Harry sighed.
'Mad? Nah." George shook his head.
"They won't get mad?" Harry turned.
"Of course not." George patted his shoulder.
"Your family seems so cool." Harry smiled
"They are." Erica smiled proudly.
"Are your parents good?"
"Very good." She nodded.
"So they'll like me? Because what if they don't?" Harry gasped.
"Harry, they'll love you." Erica told him.
"Brilliant. I'll be on my best behaviour." Harry smiled.
Ron yawned,"How long until we reach the manor?"
"How long is it fron here?" Fred raised a brow at his sister.
Erica blinked cluelessly.
"Oh, you're no help. The map says... Just about an hour." George pointed.
"I didn't read the map." Erica shrugged.
"Of course you didn't." George crossed his arms.
"Jusr drive."
Fred hummed as he drove off.

Finally! They could see the Manor from afar and Merlin was it big. It was tall and... Very dark. It looked like it was straight out a horror movie.
"Now... Her room is the top one." Erica pointed.
"Very top?" Ron shifted, he didn't like heights.
"Very top."
Ron nodded slowly as they got to the top, they looked through the window and saw Parker talking to Lucius.
"How do we get her out?" George asked quietly.
"Just wait." Ron pointed as they watched Lucius storm out and slam the door.
"Parker!" Erica called out of the window.
Parker turned her head as she quickly ran over, opening the window slightly.
"Erica? Boys?" She looked af them all.
"Surprise~"
"What are you doing here?"
"You wrote to me to come get you." Erica reminded her.
"I didn't expect you tonight." Parker hummed,"Give me a minute."
"Well, Erica thought it would be smart to pick you and Harry up at the same time." Ron told her.
"I'll get my bags." Parker nodded and opened her window further, turning afterwards to get her bags.
"Toss em over." George called to her.
"Will do!" Parker ran to the window and handed them over.
"Much appreciated."
"Are you sure I won't fall to my death from here?"
"Not unless you miss the jump." Fred shrugged.
"You'll catch me." Parker hummed and climbed through thr window.
"Well, I will. Not them." Erica nodded.
"Thanks Eri." Parker smiled as she climbed in the car.
"No problem!" Erica smiled back,"Now, let's go home!"
*********************************
"We just need to be quiet and mum won't wake up." Ron whispered.
"Well, stop talking and keep walking." Erica whispered back.
"Now, we'll go upstairs really quietly and wait for Mum to call us for breakfast. Then, Ron, you come bounding downstairs going,'Mum, look who turned up in the night!' and she'll be all pleased to see Harry and Parker and no one ever needs to know we flew the car." Fred nodded.
"Aren't you proud, we came up with all that ourselves." George smiled.
"Very proud- Oh no." Ron stopped.
When they all looked in the direction Ron was, they saw Molly, red in the face as she stormed to them.
"Say your prayers." Fred whispered.
"Have you any idea how worried I've been?!" Molly pointed.
"Uhm... Very?" Erica guessed.
"Sorry mum, but we had to-" Ron began.
"Oh, no. No excuses!" Molly hushed him,"Beds empty, no note, car gone!? You could've died, you could've been seen!"
"But we weren't." Fred pointed.
"So? There was a chance and-" Molly stopped,"Of course I'm not upset with you, Harry and... Is this Parker?"
Parker smiled slightly,"Yes Mrs Weasley, I'm sorry for just arriving."
"Oh, it's not your fault dears." Molly assured them before glaring at the group of gingers,"As for you four-"
"Can we get breakfast? Please mum?" Ron clasped his hands together.
"Well, that depends." Molly crossed her arms.
"We're sorry for taking the car." George sighed.
"That's better." She smiled,"Come on then."
They all walked in, going to the kitchen. For Harry, this was all so new. He had never been inside a magical house before. Pans washing themselves, a clock that said where each family member was? So cool!
"Eggs and sausages okay?" Molly rushed to the kitchen, getting the pans from the air.
"O-of course." Harry stammered, not used to getting asked for his opinion.
"More than okay." Parker nodded.
"I don't blame you, dear." Molly added sausages to Harry's plate, there must've been around eight,"Arthur and I have been worried about you, too. Just last night we were saying we'd come and get you ourselves if you hadn't written back to Ron by Friday. But really- Flying an illegal car halfway across the country anyone could have seen you."
"In my defense, I did ask Ron to write you a note." Erica raised her hands.
"And did they just pick you up along the way, dear? I assume everything is okay back at... Your Manor." Molly hummed to Parker, giving the same amount of food to her as her own children.
"Lucius is always shouting at her, mum.' Erica told her.
"So? All fathers do. Your father does." Molly gave Erica some orange juice.
"Not like he does." Erica mumbled, sipping her orange juice.
"They were starving her." Fred pointed,"And they had put bars on Harry's window."
"Is that so?" Molly asked slowly before shaking her head,"You'd best hope I don't put bars on your windows."
"You love us really mum." Ron smiled.
"Oh, hush." Molly ruffled his hair.
Percy came down, he looked like he had only woken up due to his hair being all over the place.
"Looks like someone needs a hairbrush." George snickered.
"Shut up." Percy warned as he sat down.
"Nice of you to join us, Perce.' Fred chuckled.
"Nice of you to join us, Freddie. Mum told me about your adventure."
Fred gasped dramatically,"It was all for a good cause."
"Good cause?"
"Rescuing Harry and Parker." Ron spoke up, eating his sausage.
"Good morning Harry... Parker." Percy nodded.
Erica shot him a glare as she sipped her juice, she hated how people spoke to her best friend.
"Morning Weasleys!" Arthur walked through the door,"Nine raids, nine!"
"Raids?" Parker looked at Erica.
"Dad works at the Ministry." Erica sat her cup down,"The Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Department."
"Interesting." Parker hummed,
"And who are these two?" Arthur asked as he sat down at the table.
"Well, this is Harry, Harry Potter. And that is Parker. Parker Malfoy." Molly introduced them, turning away.
"Remember Ron and Erica spoke about them over the holidays?" Fred raised a brow.
"Ah, yes." Arthur nodded,"Friends, it's nice to know you have them."
"It's nice to meet you, Mr Weasley." Harry smiled.
"The same could be said for you, Mr Potter." Arthur grinned,"Say, you grew up with muggles right?"
"My uncle and aunt, yes." He nodded.
"Can you tell me, what exactly is the function of a rubber duck?" Arthur questioned.
"I'm... Sorry?" Harry blinked.
"Our children took that flying car of yours to Surrey and Wiltshire last night." Molly coughed.
"Really?" Arthur gasped,"How did it go? Did it-"
Molly cleared her throat.
"I mean, that was very naughty of you children. Very naughty, indeed." Arthur corrected himself.
That's when they heard a thump.
"Errol's here, mum." Ron sighed.
"That damn owl. Percy, get the mail will you?" Molly sighed.
Percy got up and grabbed the letters that their clumsy owl had dropped as he hit the window.
"Who's got mail?" Fred hummed.
"All of us, it's our school letters." Percy began handing them out.
"Even ours?" Harry gasped.
"Yep, Dumbledore knows everything." George nodded.
"He's magical~" Parker hummed.
"Oh... This is gonna be hard to cover mum." Fred sighed.
"We'll manage." Molly assured them.
Parker looked at the Weasleys, if only she could do something to help.
"Well, there's only one place to get all this, isn't there?" Molly looked around.
"Can we use the floo powder?" Ron asked excitedly.
"If you'd like."
"Oh yes!" Ron clapped.
"Floo power?" Harry looked around slowly.
"It's this magical powder, kinda like sand? It can help you travel to places." Parker explained.
"Woah." Harry looked excited.
"Erica likes it cause it involves fire." Percy coughed.
"Shush." Erica nudged him as she got up.
"Alright, come on over here then." Molly ushered them over to the living room where the fire place was.
"So... How does t hi s work?" Harry asked.
"Watch us first." Fred and George spoke as they walked into the fireplace, taking a handful of powder each.
"Now, watch them carefully." Molly pointed.
"Diagon Alley!" They spoke at the same time, throwing the ash to the ground as green flames surrounded them and they disappeared.
"See? Not that hard.' Erica patted Harry's back.
"And... We won't get hurt?"
"Of course not!" Ron assured him.
"Now, when you get into the fire, say where you're going." Molly nodded,"And keep your elbows tucked in."
"And speak very, very, very clearly!" Erica pointed.
"Don't fidget. Or you might, well, fall out of the wrong fireplace. But don't panic and get out too early; wait until you see Fred and George." Ron added.
"R-right." Harry nodded.
"Easy as that. Go on." Molly nudged him into the fireplace.
Harry took a handful of powder sd he stepped into the fireplace, yelling as he threw it diwn,"Diagonally!"
Parker blinked and looked at the Weasleys,"Did he... Did he just-"
"Say diagonally?" Erica looked back at her,"Yes."
"Oh no." Ron sighed,"I'll go next."
"Be careful." Erica sighed.
"I'm not stupid." Ron rolled his eyes and threw the powder,"Diagon Alley!"
"Us next, Parker?" Erica looked over at her.
"If you'd like." Parker nodded.
Erica smiled and took a handful of powder as she waited for her friend.
Parker jumped in the fireplace, "We are still going to Diagon Alley... Not where Harry turned up, right?"
"Of course." Molly nodded,"Both of you will wait for us there."
"Okay." Parker nodded slowly as she threw the powder down.
In a flash, they emerged in an alleyway, no longer in the Weasley house.
"Hopefully we find Harry." Parker sighed
"We will." Erica told her.
Parker hummed as everyone else appeared.
"Well then, shall we start looking?" Arthur asked.
"We can but- Oh look!" Molly clapped as Hermione walked up with Harry.
"Mione!" Erica smiled.
"Hi guys. Look who I found on my travels." Hermione smiled.
"Where'd you end up then?' Fred questioned.
"Knockturn Alley?" Harry remembered before turning to Parker,"I also saw Draco and your dad there."
"Knockturn Alley? That's so dangerous.' George shook his head.
"That's probably why they were there." Parker sighed.
"Hagrid found me and helped. Then we found 'Mione." Harry nodded.
"Well, as long as you're safe." Molly smiled.
"Right, let's begin looking for stuff." Arthur nodded.
Erica nodded, walking beside Precy.
"Why is it so crowded in here?" Percy held onto Erica as they entered the bookstore.
"That stupid author man is here." Erica told him, gently squeezing his hand.
"Oh, oh! Let me through!" Molly smiled and moved infront of them.
"Mum fancies him." Ron whispered.
"Oh, I see." Harry nodded.
"Can't imagine why." Erica sighed.
"Oh- Can I stand with you two?" Parker moved over to Erica and Percy when she saw her family.
"Yeah, hide behind me."
"Thank you." Parker sighed.
"How can mum like him?" Percy held his head.
"You're asking us?" Erica blinked.
"He's just so... Loud and annoying." Percy shook his head.
"And stupid." Erica added.
"And ugly." Parker laughed.
"And none of us like him." Erica leaned against Percy.
Percy chuckled and squeezed her hand as people pushed past them. Erica smiled up at him, she liked it when he was nicer to her. She also liked looking put for him.
"God there's so many people." Arthur sighed.
"Blame Mr Gilderoy Lockhart."
"Gilderoy Lockhart." Arthur scoffed,"What a man."
"That's one way to put it, dsd." Ron sighed.
"Harry Potter!" A reporter gasped, grabbing him and pulled him to Lockhart.
"And... Harry's been kidnapped." Erica shook her head.
"And he'll be on the Daily Prophet." Percy added.
"Poor guy can't even come to a bookstore without this happening." Ron sighed.
"Nice big smile Harry. Right on you go- Take all these books." Lockhart pushed him away.
Harry sighed as he walked back to the group with his books,"I hate him."
"We all do." Parker hummed, "Shall wr leave?"
"Please." Percy nodded.
Parker nodded and turned, leading the way. Mrs Weasley stayed behind with the books as the rest of the group went to leave.
"I don't see why Lockhart is so... Special." Parker sighed.
"Because he did all that stuff he writes about, allegedly." Ron shrugged.
Just as they began to walk out... Lucius appeared infront of them. Erica gently squeezed Parker's hand.
"Weasleys... Good morning." Lucius hummed.
"Malfoys... Same to you." Arthur copied.
"I see you have my daughter. She left in the night it seemed and I was wondering why." Lucius tightened his grip on his cane.
"I can assure you that I don't know how it happened. I came home from work and there were two children in my house." Arthur shook his head
Parker hesitated before she spoke, "I just spent some time with my friends. I couldn't over the Summer because of duties at home... Right, dad?"
"Of course... But I expect you to ask for permission before leaving in the middle of the night.' Lucius hissed.
Parker nodded and crossed her arms,"Okay."
"Bet you loved that, didn't you, Potter?" A voice spoke from the stairs.
"Oh, go away Draco." Erica looked up at him.
"I wasn't talking to you, Weasley." Draco spat as he walked down,"Famous Harry Potter. Can't even go into a bookshop without making the front page."
"Leave him alone, he didn't want all that!" Ginny spoke up.
That was the first she had spoke in front of Harry.
"Oh, look Potter. You've got yourself a girlfriend." Draco smirked.
"Draco, stop it." Parker stepped forward.
"I suppose your parents will go hungry for a month to pay for all those." Draco shrugged to the Weasleys.
"Lucius, I suggest you teach your son some manners." Arthur stepped forward.
Lucius just simply turned to Arthur,"Busy time at the Ministry, I hear. All those raids... I hope they're paying you overtime?"
Arthur glared at him.
"Dad, calm down.' Percy whispered to him.
Lucius smirked, looking at Harry and Hermione,"The company you keep, Weasley... And I thought your family could sink no lower.'
Arthur had enough and shoved Lucius back,"You have no right to talk about families sinking lower.'
"Dad, come on." Percy sighed.
"Do I not? I mean look at the state-"
Arthur lunged forward.
"Why you-" Lucius shouted as the two men fell to the ground.
"Get him dad!" Fred and George clapped.
Erica held onto Percy's hand but she seemed to be studying the scuffle.
"Go Mr Weasley." Parker laughed.
"Who's side are you on?' Draco questioned.
"Obviously not dad's." Parker hummed,"Did you even notice I was gone?"
"Obviously!"
"Mhm. I'm sure." Parker rolled her eyes.
"Arthur! Enough!" Molly pulled her husband away, while Narcissa grabbed hers.
"Yeah... I was waiting on that happening." Ron sighed.
"Everyone out!" Molly pointed at her children.
"Yes, mu.." Erica nodded quickly, pulling Percy with her.
After all the Weasleys left, Parker slowly walked up to her mother,"Mum?"
'Yes, darling?" Narcissa looked down at her.
"I'm sorry for leaving last night." Parker sighed.
"Aw, well I suppose it's alright if you're sorry. Just don't do it again, I was worried sick.' She pointed.
Parker nodded,"Can I... Get some money? I can get all my equipment myself I just- I got my letter at the Weasleys and I didn't bring any cash with me."
Narcissa smiled and gave her a small pouch,"Be responsible with it."
Parker hummed softly and hugged her,"Thanks mum."
"Of course, darling." Narcissa patted her shoulders.
"I'll send you a letter!" Parker waved before she ran off, running to Mrs Weasley.
She was still stood in line, holding the books.
"Mrs Weasley." Parker tapped her.
"Hm? Oh, Parker." Mrs Weasley looked at her.
"This... This is for you." She held out some money from the pouch her mother gave her.
Mrs Weasley looked surprised,"A-are you sure? I can't just-"
"It will help get everyone's stuff for this year." Parker smiled.
"Oh, thank you dear. You're so kind."
"I'm hoping some will be left over for you and Mr Weasley." Parker nodded.
Mrs Weasley smiled at stroked Parkers hair,"You'd best hurry to catch up with the others."
Parker hummed and turned, leaving to catch up with the others.
