Chapter 2 - A Slytherin Party

"Did you hear about the party that the Slytherin's are hosting tonight?" Erica overheard Hannah speak to her friends in the Great Hall.

"I did, do you guys think we should go?" Harry looked around at the Herd.

"Well, do you think we'd be invited?" Hermione asked.

"We can ask Parker when she gets here?" Ron suggested.

"If Parker says yes, then we're definitely going." Erica nodded.

They all nodded and ate, that was until Parker came up and sat down beside them, "Sorry I'm late."

"Are we invited to that party tonight?" Hermione asked her.

"The Slytherin party?" Parker smiled.

"I don't there's any other parties so yes." Erica nodded.

Parker hummed and joked, "Well, I don't know. I'd have to ask.."

"If they invited Hannah and Max and not me, I swear..." Erica crossed her arms.

"You're all invited, don't worry." Parker laughed.

"Good." Erica nodded.

"Wait, who's Hannah?" Ron turned to Erica.

"Her roommate. Total bitch." Parker whispered.

"Oh, that one." Ron shook his head.

"It's fine, I got Dean to throw rocks at her." Erica shrugged.

"You got Dean throw rocks at her?" Hermione asked.

"I mean, he did it willingly. Dean despises her, I didn't think it was possible for him." Erica shrugged.

"We've never really spoken to her." Harry shook his head.

"You're lucky." Erica told him.

"Anyway." Parker grabbed an apple, "The party starts at nine. Just send me an owl and I'll let you all in."

"Hedwig or Errol?" Erica asked the boys on either side of her.

"Hedwig." Ron quickly spoke.

"Don't trust Errol to get the letter to Parker?" Erica raised a brow with a chuckle.

"He'll get lost on his way, probably send the letter to Dumbledore." Ron scoffed.

"I know, I know, I'm just teasing." Erica patted his shoulder.

"So, I'll see you guys soon." Parker winked before she got up and walked over to Draco and his crew.

Draco turned when he saw her,"Parker?"

"Howdy." Parker crossed her arms.

"What do you want?" Draco sighed.

"What? Am I not allowed to come up and see my favourite cousin?" She raised a brow.

"I saw you talking to your so called friends. You want them to come tonight, don't you?" Draco rolled his eyes.

"Of course I do." Parker shrugged.

"As much as I don't want to see Potter, there could be some fun drama that I'd love to see." Draco smirked,"They can come."

"Draco." Parker warned, "Don't be mean to them."

"Define mean." Draco turned to her.

"How you normally act." Parker gave him a look.

"Weasley's done her fair share of mean things to me." Draco crossed his arms.

"Yeah, because of how you act." Parker pointed out.

"I was just walking and she tripped me down the stairs!" Draco told her.

Parker simply just shrugged.

"I'll see you at the party, I guess." Draco turned away from her.

"Okay, bye Dray." Parker hummed, "Hi Blaise."

She waved to him as she waved away.

"Hi, Parker." Blaise waved back, Draco soon nudging him.

**

"Did you send Hedwig? We've been waiting for hours." Ron groaned while the Herd, minus Parker waited outside the Dungeons.

"Of course I did." Erica rolled her eyes, wearing a burgundy jumper and jeans.

In reality, they had only been waiting about 10 minutes.

"Harry, did you see her?" Ron turned to his friend.

"I was with her Ron, on watch. Besides, it hasn't even been fifteen minutes." Harry told him.

"Has it not?" Ron looked at them all.

"No, you git." Erica muttered.

"What Erica means is t-" Hermione began.

"Exactly what I said." Erica shrugged.

Harry held back a laugh, stopping once Ron nudged him. Just as that happened, the door opened.

"Hi guys." Parker smiled.

"Nice outfit." Hermione nodded.

"Thank you." Parker did a small twirl, "You all look very ravishing."

"That's nice, can we go in now?" Ron asked impatiently.

"Calm your tits." Parker held up her hands before she opened the door fully.

"Thanks." Erica walked inside, the others following shortly after

When they all walked in, there was songs blasting, a bunch of people, people from all houses. Must've been fifth year onwards.

"Welcome to the party." Parker smiled and walked.

"I feel welcomed." Erica nodded, looking around,"Ron, they've got snacks."

"Oh yes." Ron quickly walked over to the food.

"And off he goes." Harry chuckled.

"He never stops eating." Hermione sighed.

"This is a great distraction from her." Erica closed her eyes.

"From who? Hannah?" Harry asked as they walked.

"Nah, Umbridge." Erica told him.

"Oh, trust me. If she knew? We'd be doing Detention for months." Parker shivered.

"That's the thing, she won't. I've had enough of her detentions." Erica shook her head.

"Same here... Anyway, forget about her. Come on!" She pulled the girls to the main part.

"Y'know, I've never really been down here. It's actually quite nice." Hermione nodded.

"Sometimes." Parker shrugged, "Drinks, ladies?"

"Maybe later." Erica told her.

"'Mione?" Parker turned to her.

"I might as well." Hermione nodded.

Parker hummed and handed her some Fire Whiskey, "I may have had some already."

"That's alright, it's our night off." Hermione took the glass.

"Where are they going?" Erica pointed to Draco and a few others going into a room near the back.

"I.. Have no idea. Grab the boys, I'll go check." Parker nodded and walked to the room, poking her head in.

"Ron." Erica called to her brother, walking off.

"What?" Ron turned with food in his hands.

"We're going somewhere." Erica grabbed his arm,"Now where's Harry?"

"He went off to get Ginny." Ron mumbled.

"I'll get him, you follow Hermione." Erica let him go and began walking elsewhere.

"Right." Ron nodded and walked to Hermione.

Erica walked around before eventually finding Harry and Ginny talking together.

"Erica, hey." Harry looked at Erica, looking away from Ginny.

"Harry, we're gonna investigate something." Erica told him.

"Investigate what?" Ginny sighed.

"Draco and some others went into a room and Parker didn't know about it." Erica explained.

"Can I join?" Ginny asked.

"Sure." Erica nodded, starting to walk to the room.

Ginny and Harry glanced at each other before they followed Erica.

"It's just here." Erica told them, pushing open the door.

"God, it's so dark down here." Ginny looked around.

"Oh, that's not just me?" Erica asked, squinting her eyes.

"Boo!" Draco shouted as he ran up to them.

Erica instinctively shot her hand forward, right at Draco's face.

"Ow, sh*t!"Draco quickly held his nose.

"Oh sorry, did I hit something?" Erica looked around.

"Yes, me!" Draco shouted.

"Oh, that's good. I thought I broke something important." Erica shrugged as Harry flipped the light switch.

When Harry turned the light on, the inside was like.. A smaller common room? It had couches, a rug, you name it.

Draco scoffed and rubbed it, "Why are you guys here?"

"We saw you guys go into the room and Parker said we could investigate." Erica told him.

"Yeah, well, Parker's over there." Draco rolled his eyes.

"Parker, I found Harry." Erica called to her friend.

"Oh, good." Parker smiled and walked away from Pansy over to them.

"So, now what do we do?" Ginny asked.

"Well, the information that I got was.. They're playing Truth or Dare. But if you don't do the dare, or answer your truth, you drink." Parker nodded.

"Sounds like fun, where do we start?" Erica raised a brow.

"Draco, they're playing." Parker flicked the back of his head before she led them over to the couches where Hermione and Ron already were.

Erica sat down next to her brother,"Me and the twins used to play this a lot."

"I think it's stupid." Hermione shook her head.

"I think it could be fun." Harry added.

"Really?" Parker raised a brow, "The questions and dares can be extreme sometimes."

"So? We live extreme in the Herd." Harry reminded her.

"Our lives are extreme." Ron muttered while the others came over.

Some people like Draco, Pansy, Blaise, Hannah, Neville. You name it.

"So, who wants to start?" Ginny asked.

"Me!" Parker held up her hand, "Draco~Truth or dare?"

"Truth." Draco stated.

"What's the secret you can't tell me?" Parker hummed.

Draco instantly grabbed the cup in front of him and drank, sitting it back down,"I really can't tell you."

"Pussy." Parker muttered.

"Nu-uh." Draco shook his head before looking over at Harry,"Potter, truth or dare."

"Uh.. Dare." He nodded.

"How about you write a howler to Professor Snape?" Draco smirked.

Harry raised a brow, "Saying?.."

"I'll let you decide that one, Potter." Draco shrugged.

Harry nodded slowly, "Where's the papers?"

"They're over there." Pansy pointed to a nearby shelf.

"Brilliant." Harry got up and walked over to them.

"I wonder what he's gonna write." Ginny whispered to Luna.

"I believe it'll be something nice. Did you know the Nargles took my stuff one time and Professor Snape found them?" Luna hummed.

"T-that's nice, Luna." Ginny nodded, knowing full well it wasn't Nargles.

"He said he told them off." Luna smiled while Harry came back.

"That's very nice of him." Erica told her as Harry sat down.

"It was." Luna agreed.

"Done?" Parker asked Harry.

"Yep, sent and everything." Harry replied,"Now Ron, truth or dare?"

"Dare. I'm here for the thrill." Ron bounced on his cushion.

"You have to..." Harry thought for a moment,"Tell everyone here about your 'brilliant' idea to steal a flying car."

"You did what?" Pansy gasped.

"Hey, it's not stealing if it was my dad's!" Ron butted in.

"Tell them or drink." Erica stated, arms crossed.

Ron hesitated before he picked up his bottle and drank.

"I thought it was quite funny." Erica admitted quietly.

"Will you tell us?" Blaise asked Erica.

"Maybe later." Erica told him.

Blaise nodded.

"'Mione, truth or dare?" Ron asked Hermione.

"Truth." Hermione answered simply.

"Back in third year, how did you and Parker do so many classes with not enough time?" Ron raised a brow.

Hermione sighed,"Professor McGonagall gave us... Special devices to help."

"Special devices?" Draco raised a brow.

"Mhm. I think that sums it up quite well Hermione." Parker nodded.

"Exactly. Parker, truth or dare?" Hermione asked her.

"Hmm.." Parker wondered, "Dare."

"Care to read out that letter I saw you writing addressed to 'My Dearest'" Hermione raised a brow.

Parker looked at Hermione and blinked, turning to the alcohol and drank it, avoiding eye contact.

"Don't worry, we'll find out sooner or later." Erica assured her.

"No you won't." Parker hummed, putting it down,"Ginny, truth or dare?"

"Hm, dare." Ginny smiled.

"I dare you.. To sneak to the kitchens and steal some food." Parker hummed.

"Heh, that's easy." Ginny told her as she stood up before jogging out of the room.

"Someone ask for Ginny since she'll be a while." Ron looked around.

That's when Draco spoke up,"I will, I've got a question for a certain someone here."

"Who, Draco?" Pansy asked.

"Erica. Truth or dare." Draco turned to her.

Erica rolled her eyes,"Truth."

"Do you miss your brother? What's his name? Oh, Percy. Last time I heard, you and him had a little falling out." Draco grinned, sitting back.

Erica's eyes widened and she sat in shock for a few moments. She soon regained herself and narrowed her eyes; downing the cup in front of her while maintaining eye contact with Draco.

Parker slapped Draco's arm once she seen Erica's reaction, "Really?"

"It's fine, Parker. The little ferret's only asking a question." Erica shook her head.

Parker sighed and sat back, "Your turn Er."

Erica looked around the circle and turned to Pansy,"Truth or dare?"

"Truth." Pansy cocked her head to the side.

"Is it true that you and Draco snuck off to the restricted section of the library and made out last night?" Erica asked her.

Pansy smirked and looked at Draco, "It's true."

"Ha! I knew it." Erica crossed her arms,"I knew it was your head that I saw."

"What were you doing in the restricted section?" Ron asked.

"Absolutely nothing." Erica told him.

Ron narrowed his eyes before he nodded slowly, not believing her.

"Luna, truth or dare." Pansy's smirk stayed on her face.

"How about... Dare." Luna answered.

"I dare you to.. Leave your stuff out for the Nargles. You know you always find your stuff after a while." Pansy hummed.

"Alright." Luna smiled, skipping out if the room.

Once Luna was gone Erica tried to get at her,"That was uncalled for!"

Ron quickly grabbed Erica and pulled her back.

"It's a game! Relax, Weasley." Pansy scoffed.

"Game or not, that's bullying. She's younger than, well, most of us here." Erica reminded her.

Pansy rolled her eyes and leant into Draco.

"Draco probably doesn't even like you back." Erica muttered.

Draco gave Erica a small glance, it was almost a.. 'I don't.' look. Erica caught the glance and nodded. Maybe if Draco was nicer, she might set him up with a nice lady one day.

"Who's next to be asked?" Hermione sighed.

"Well, it's Luna's turn but she's not back yet." Harry told her.

"Should someone take her spot?" Neville asked, finally speaking up.

"Right then Neville, you've volunteered yourself." Ron nodded.

"I did?" Neville asked, slowly looking around at who hadn't been asked, "..Blaise. Truth or dare?"

"Oh, dare." Blaise answered quickly as Ginny jogged back in with a loaf of bread.

Neville thought before he shook his head, "My minds blank. I'm sorry."

"It can be anything." Blaise told him,"The most stupid thing."

"He'd still do it." Erica nodded.

Neville thought, "I.."

"Oh for goodness sake, someone else do it for him." Draco scoffed, "Honestly, it's one thing Longbottom."

"Be patient Draco, Neville cares about things like feelings unlike you." Erica crossed her arms before turning to Neville,"You've got this."

Neville nodded and cleared his throat; asking him confidently, "I dare you.. To find the letter that Parker wrote."

"A challenge, I like it." Blaise smirked before dashing out of the room.

"He's the Ron of that group, isn't he?" Hermione asked through her teeth.

The boys nodded while Parker quickly bolted up.

"Blaise don't you dare!" She yelped and ran after him.

"I know all about that letter, I already found it." Erica smirked.

"What did it say?" Draco raised a brow, leaning forward, away from Pansy.

"I said that I already found the letter." Erica repeated.

"And what did it say on it?" Draco asked.

"Definitely nothing important." Erica looked to the side.

"It said 'My Dearest'. That's important." Hermione chuckled.

"I'll give you a hint. Well, not really. It's just that Blaise will never find it." Erica admitted.

They all nodded while they heard a bang.

"I never booby trapped it, what was that?" Erica questioned,"Well, maybe a little."

"Erica." Ron sighed while both Parker and Blaise came back in, covered in glitter.

"It was harmless, it was in case Umbridge found it." Erica sighed,"At least I know it works, I spent weeks making that."

"And it'll take weeks to wash off!" Parker groaned.

"Well, the twins will be pleased." Erica told them.

"I'm going for a shower. I'm getting you back for this!" She shouted as she left the room.

"No she won't." Erica dismissed her friend's threat as Luna skipped back in.

"Why is Blaise covered in pink glitter?" Luna asked, looking at him.

Erica chuckled,"He got caught by my latest invention."

"That sounds entertaining. Could I borrow some?" Luna skipped back over next to Ginny and Neville.

"Yeah, they come in different colours too. I've got the full rainbow." Erica nodded, taking some from her pockets.

"Could I have some blue please?" Luna asked.

"Of course you can." Erica tossed her two blue ones.

"Thank you." Luna caught them and put them in her pocket.

"Hm, who should I ask?" Blaise asked as he looked around.

"Anyone you'd like. I'd believe that's us nearly done anyway." Hermione nodded.

"What about Hannah, truth or dare?" Blaise looked at her.

Hannah looked up, "Truth, I guess."

"Damn, I wanted you to pick dare." Blaise muttered before asking,"Is it true, you were pushed into the lake by someone in this room?"

Hannah rolled her eyes and nodded.

"Oh, who?" Blaise questioned her.

"You never asked me that." Hannah shrugged, "Only one question~"

"Draco, who was it?" Blaise turned to him.

"Weasley." Draco snickered and pointed at Erica.

"No..." Erica shook her head unconvincingly.

"Don't deny it, I watched it happen." Draco shrugged.

"She was making me feel uncomfortable, you must've seen that." Erica rolled her eyes.

"I was not." Hannah muttered.

"You were trying to look under my gloves, you know they're private." Erica shot her a glare

"You don't even take them off to sleep in." Hannah pointed out.

"And? I have my reasons." Erica looked away from Hannah.

"Stupid ones." Hannah shrugged.

"So Hannah, I heard you like eating rocks." Erica said loudly.

"What?" Hannah quickly looked up.

"Dean told me that you like eating rocks." Erica told her.

"Well, Dean's lying." Hannah scoffed.

"I'm not sure, he gave you quite a lot." Erica smirked.

"Shut up, Erica." Hannah gritted through her teeth.

"Make me." Erica chuckled, she knew Hannah couldn't do much.

"Don't even think about coming back to our dorm tonight." Hannah threatened quietly.

"You don't scare me, Hannah. I could sleep anywhere else." Erica rolled her eyes.

"Good. Then do sleep somewhere else." Hannah crossed her arms while the music abruptly stopped.

"Alright then." Erica finished, looking around her.

They heard footsteps, some running, some walking. Then Parker ran into the room,"It's Snape. He got Harry's howler and tracked it here. You guys gotta go before he tells Umbridge."

"Sh*t." Erica muttered.

"Right, time to leave." Neville quickly got up.

"Agreed." Harry nodded as the others started running.

Parker sighed and closed the door quietly, walking over to the boys and Pansy and sat down.

"I wonder what Harry wrote." Blaise wondered.

"Oh, it was about Draco." Parker nodded.

"Oh, what about him?" Pansy raised a brow.

"That he's a git. From what I can see." She held back a laugh as she looked at Draco.

"Potter's getting it tomorrow, I swear." Draco muttered.
