The Herd were all walking to Hogsmeade, a place called Hog's Head. No one really went their so it was a good place to form something like this. Erica sat a sheet of parchment on the table when they entered and wrote 'Dumbledore's Army' at the top.

"Dumbledore's army?" Harry raised a brow while they sat down. People were still to arrive.

"Would you rather it be called Harry's army?" Ron asked, writing his name on the page after Erica.

"No, no. I'm good." Harry shook his head while he, Hermione and Parker wrote their names.

They sat for another five minutes. They started after people stopped coming through the door.

"Well, you may be wondering why we called you hear today. Is that right?" Erica asked them.

"We've been waiting for ages." A fifth year Ravenclaw boy sighed.

The Herd just invited everyone who was in their DADA class, plus a few others.

"Alright then, we've decided that we're going to form a club that teaches us how to actually use defensive magic." Erica explained,"This club will be taught by Harry."

"Harry?" They all looked at him, "But he-"

"He's a liar? We all are? Keep trying Naomi." Parker rolled her eyes at the Gryffindor girl, "If you don't want to learn defensive spells, then you can leave."

"Would you prefer 'liars' or Umbridge?" Hermione asked, looking at the incomplete words on her hand.

A few mutters were heard around the room.

But Luna broke the silence and asked,"Is it true you can produce the Patronus Charm?"

Harry nodded.

"It's true, I've seen it." Hermione told her.

"Blimey Harry. Didn't know you could produce that." Dean said surprised.

"And.. And in second year, he killed the Basilisk in the hidden chamber." Neville added.

"That's true as well. I was there." Parker nodded.

"Third year, he fought about one hundred dementors at once." Ron leaned forward in his chair.

"I have nothing else to add but I felt the need to speak." Erica stated before remembering,"Oh, in first year he managed to save the Philosopher's Stone."

"This is why Harry will be the best teacher you all will get." Parker crossed her arms.

"Is he really back?" A young Gryffindor boy asked.

"Yes, he's back and we need to learn how to protect ourselves." Harry finally spoke up.

After a bit of talking, the Herd soon had a line and everyone was writing down their names.

"We need to find a place to practise where Umbridge won't find out." Harry told them while the Herd, Neville, the twins and Ginny walked.

"Knowing our luck, I'll fall into it." Erica joked, looking around.

"The Shrieking Shack?" Ginny suggested.

"Too small." Parker shook her head.

"The Forbidden Forest?" Hermione suggested, "This is sort of exciting, breaking the rules."

"Who are you and what have you done with Hermione Granger?" Ron asked with a chuckle.

"I.. think I might have a place we can go but I need to see if its going to work first." Parker told them.

"I think I know what you're talking about." Neville stated, starting to lead them to the fifth floor.

"We're definitely on the same page Neville." Parker nodded while they arrived.

"A wall?" Ginny asked.

Neville stopped for a moment, eyes close, as a door appeared in front of them.

"Good job Neville." Erica congratulated him as he pushed open the door.

They all quickly ushered inside in case anyone saw them.

"The Room of Requirement. It only appears when in need." Parker explained.

"When's the first club meeting?" Erica asked,"Any suggestions?"

"At night, obviously." Hermione nodded.

"We should try tomorrow night. Around.. six o'clock. Tell the rest of the Army its here." Ron told them.

"We can't speak of this to anyone other than the army. Including near Umbridge, we have her in class tomorrow." Parker stated.

The group nodded before splitting off to tell the army members.

There was only a few minutes until class began and there was no sign of Erica or Neville.

"Where are they?" Parker asked, tapping her foot.

That's when they walked in. Erica, looking pretty mad, taking her place next to Ron.

"What's up with you?" Ron asked.

"Let's just say if you see Malfoy with a few minor injuries, don't question it." Erica stated, taking out a sheet of paper to doodle on.

Parker leaned forward at the mention of Draco, "What did he do?"

"He mentioned Percy and Neville's parents. Many words were said but I believe I won." Erica explained as Draco walked in and took his seat.

"Excuse me while I throw this in his face." Parker turned to Draco who's seat was behind her and taunted him, "OoOoO, you got beat up by Erica."

"Shut it." Draco warned her.

"Leave him alone, his pride's already damaged." Erica told her friend, a bit calmer than before.

"Don't mention Nevilles parents or Percy again or I'll do worse than that, okay? Okay." Parker smiled before she turned back to Erica, "Is Neville okay?"

"He's still a bit down, I'll talk to him after class when it's safer." Erica stated, doodling on her page.

Soon enough, Umbridge came into the class and began talking about the O.W.L.S. Most struggled through her class, Erica walking over to Neville once Hell was over.

"Hey Neville, do you want to talk?" Erica asked him.

"Hm?" Neville looked up from his Herbology book.

"I just wanted to make sure you were alright after earlier." Erica told him, kind of regretting speaking.

Neville sighed, "I should be fine, it's not the first time I've had it told to me."

"But it was cruel and unnecessary." Erica looked at him sadly,"If you ever want to talk, I'll be around."

Neville nodded, "I will. Thank you Erica."

Erica smiled back at him before walking off.

The Army was all in the Room of Requirement. Harry was teaching them stupefy.

"Stunning is one of the most useful spells. It's sort of a wizards bread and butter. Come on the Nigel, give me your best shot." Harry stood at the opposite side of the room.

"This is going to be fun." Erica chuckled, standing next to her brothers.

Harry could even cast the spell, Nigel quickly did it before him.

"Stupefy!" It then quickly flung Harry back with Nigel himself.

The room clapped as Hermione and Ron stepped up next.

"Ten sickles he loses." Erica whispered to George.

"Deal." George whispered back.

They got into positions, Ron hadn't even lifted his wand yet before Hermione flung him back. George sighed before he got out ten sickles and handed them to Erica.

"Thank you." Erica thanked him.

"Shut up." George stated as Fred chuckled, Ron walking over to him.

"I let her do that. Good manners, isn't it?" Ron told them.

"Sure Ron, sure." Erica nodded.

"I did." Ron stated, "Can't let her loose, it would be mean."

"Shut up and admit you like her." Fred stated as the next pair stood up.

"I do not like her, shut up." Ron rolled his eyes.

"That's even less believable than you just letting her win because of manners." George told him.

Ron just crossed his arms and looked at the next pair.

Erica and Parker had been called to Umbridge's office. All the students were being interviewed for some reason and now it was the girl's turn. Parker glanced at Erica while Umbridge made some tea. They knew what was happening, they just didn't know why they were being interviewed. Why the whole school was being interviewed. Erica then spotted something she recognized after helping Snape clean out his potions cupboard. A vial of veritaserum. She watched as Umbridge added a few drops of it to their tea.

"You see that too?" Parker whispered quietly.

"Don't drink it, she'll make you spill the beans." Erica muttered, eyeing the tea.

"I know." Parker nodded before looking at Umbridge,"Professor, may you tell us why we're here?"

"It's just a few questions I need to ask, it's happening to everyone." Umbridge told her, placing tea in front of them.

"And these questions are?" Parker raised a brow, glancing at the tea.

"How about a drink first?" Umbridge suggested, taking a drink of her own.

Erica picked up her cup and... She started drinking it! Parker looked at her not sure what she was doing.

"I'm ready for your questions Professor." Erica told her, discreetly wiping her chin.

"I'm not a big fan of tea, Professor." Parker shook her head.

Umbridge was visibly angry but she hid it,"That's alright, I'll just ask the questions. So Miss Weasley, is Harry starting an army for Dumbledore?"

Erica shook her head,"No Professor."

Parker looked down at her tea, she could see the small bubbles which showed that the veritaserum was in it. But she showed no reaction to it.

"Are any one of your friends plotting against the ministry?" Umbridge asked the girl who she thought was under her potion.

"No Professor." Erica stated, taking another sip and wiping her chin.

"Professor, I don't see how these are appropriate." Parker told Umbridge.

Umbridge ignored Parker and asked Erica her last question,"Now, have you learned your lesson from detention."

"Of course Professor, I must not assist in telling lies." Erica smiled as she repeated the words engraved on her hand.

With that they were dismissed and they both left her office.

Parker had seen Erica's cup before she left and waited until they were out of sight and earshot, "You didn't drink the tea, did you?"

"No, I'm not going to drink spiked tea. I had to pretend because she'd get suspicious." Erica stated, looking around.

"I just don't like tea. She'll probably ask me again at one point." Parker shrugged, "We'll need to warn the others."

"I'll start with my siblings, you start with whoever." Erica told her, hopping through a fake painting.

"Be careful!" Parker called out before she began walking.

Erica ran and burst through to the Gryffindor common room where the twins were setting up their Skiving Snackboxes.

"You're fast." Fred looked at her.

"What's got you in a hurry?"  George asked.

"Y'know the interviews with Umbridge?" Erica questioned the boys.

"Yeah?" They both nodded.

"She's using veritaserum." Erica told them, accidentally showing her scarred hand which her and Ron didn't tell them about.

Fred quickly took Erica's hand, "Whats this?"

"Would you believe me if I said nothing?" Erica asked hopefully.

"No." They both replied.

Erica sighed and took her hand back,"The Herd and I all have scarred hands after out detention with Umbridge. That's why her and McGonagall had an argument."

"Oh we're definitely getting her soon Freddie." George looked at Fred.

"Agreed." Fred nodded.

Erica looked down before hugging her brothers. The twins both hugged Erica back.

"We won't let her hurt you." Fred told her.

Erica stayed silent. Despite being teh second youngest, she felt the need to protect them instead of the other way around.

"Besides, we've already got a plan for her anyway." George smirked while they pulled away.

"I'll go warn the rest of the army." Erica told them, leaving as quickly as she appeared, bumping into Neville.

"Hi Erica." Neville smiled, "What are you doing?"

"Warning the army, Umbridge is using veritaserum in her interviews." Erica informed him.

"Is she?" Neville asked, "How are we to avoid it?"

"Don't drink the tea, that's wear she puts it. I put it up to my mouth and let it drip." Erica told him before starting to run,"See you later Nev!

"Bye!" Neville waved.

"Right guys, remember you need to quickly flick your wand as you finish." Harry reminded them, walking past the pairs.

"Expelliarmus!" Neville kept trying, but was failing.

"You'll get there, Nev." Parker patted his back before going over to Erica, "How would you feel.. If I like, used a spell on Cho without her knowing?"

Erica panicked and yelled,"Expelliarmus!"

This caused Parker's wand to go flying somewhere.

"Sorry, I panicked." Erica apologized to her friend,"I didn't want you to do something to her either."

"It would be harmless." Parker told her while she scanned the room with her eyes for her wand.

Erica rolled her eyes and stood by Neville, she'd be willing to help him get the spell right.

Parker quickly ran over to her wand, "Sorry, 'xcuse me."

She ducked down as a spell went over her head and grabbed her wand. Parker looked over to see Erica demonstrating the spell for Neville again before standing in front of him, ready for him to try. Parker went back to her spot next to the dummy, practising a spell while she watched Erica and Neville.

"Expelliarmus!" Neville yelled, aiming his wand at his friend.

That's when her wand went flying out of her hand, landing somewhere else in the room. Everyone looked at Neville and clapped, this was his first time getting it right.

"Told you that you'd get it." Erica stated as Ron handed her wand to her.

"Thanks Erica." Neville looked down at his wand before back up at her.

"Friends help each other out." Erica reminded him as as Seamus and Dean ran in.

"You won't believe this, come on." Seamus told them, wanting them to follow him.

"What is it?" Parker asked while a small crowd followed them.
Seamus lead them around a corner. A handful of people, one of them being Draco, were being given badges.

"She's appointing them and Filch to hunt us down." Dean explained.

"Oh fuck off." Parker muttered, "We all need to be extra careful now."

"Can we go back now? They're probably going to notice a crowd spying on them." Erica stated, knowing they weren't very nonchalant.

"Yeah, come on. Hurry." Harry ushered them all back inside.

"So, Umbridge is making up a squad to tackle our army?" Hermione asked, looking for confirmation.

"Pretty sure that's exactly what she's doing." Ron nodded.

"We need to walk in small groups, they'll get suspicious if we all go together." Luna pointed out.

"We should come at different times as well." Neville suggested, "Just as long as we get here before six."

"I can guide you guys through the passage ways." Erica offered.

Everyone nodded, they knew they needed to stick together.

"Right, it's sorted. We all need to be more careful. Come at different times, come in small groups, use the passage ways that Erica, Fred and George show us." Harry explained.

"I'll have a few maps of the passage ways done by tomorrow." Erica told him.

"Alright." Harry nodded, "We only have twenty minutes left, make it count."

Erica walked over to the twins going to practice with them for a bit, occasionally sneaking a glance at Ron and Hermione.

"How have they been doing? Gotten any closer?" Fred asked.

"I've been trying to put them in scenarios but it hasn't been working. They somehow avoid it each time." Erica admitted,"They have been getting closer though."

"Now the real question is, do we want them together?" George raised a brow.

"Nah, the question is why not?" Erica told him.

"Thats true, they seem.. Pretty well together." Fred nodded.

"I'm debating whether to help them get closer or stun one of you guys." Erica sighed, looking at her options.

Before Erica could make a decision, Parker came over to them, "Erica, Cho hit me with a bloody spell and I feel dizzy. Mind telling me what passage leads me to the Slytherin common room? I'm gonna fix myself then come back."

"Go down the corridor, turn left and it's the one behind the portrait of the owl." Erica explained.

"Got it, I'll be back soon." Parker nodded before she left the room, making sure no one was around before she began walking down the hall.

Before she left she saw one of the twins fly backwards, she couldn't tell which one. With that, she was off to the Slytherin common room.

"Guess she chose stunning the twins." Parker hummed before she arrived in the common room.

Everything seemed fine, a few people here and there but nothing out of the usual. Parker took some pills for the dizziness, leaving the common room soon after that and began walking down the hallway. That's when she felt someone grab her shoulder. When she turned her neck, it was Draco.

"Guess who's coming to Umbridge~" Draco teased.

"I've already been, Draco. Go run off and play with your friends." Parker told him before she began walking again.

That's when Umbridge appeared,"That's correct dear but I only asked your friend questions. Now you get to answer some."

"Professor, with all due respect. I would love to answer your questions, but I have to get back to studying for my O.W.L.S." Parker sighed.

"You're a very bright student, you'll be able to catch up." Umbridge told her, leading her to her office.

Parker bit her inner cheek while she followed her to her office, sitting down once in. Umbridge passed some tea to Draco and coffee to Parker.

"Oh c'mon, you like coffee." Draco gave Parker a look.

"I suppose I do, thank you Professor." Parker 'smiled' before she took a drink of it. But really, she was just doing what Erica had did earlier.

"Now, are any of you plotting against the ministry?" Umbridge asked.

Draco shook his head, "No Professor."

"Of course not." Parker answered.

"Is Harry starting an army for Dumbledore?" Umbridge asked, it was the same questions as before.

"I don't talk to Potter, miss. I wouldn't know." Draco told her.

"No Professor, he's busy studying all day and night with myself and others." Parker put her coffee down.

"Now, did you learn your lesson from detention?" Umbridge asked her final question.

"Of course." Parker nodded, lifting her hand slightly, "I must not tell lies."

"Of course." Parker nodded, lifting her hand slightly, "I must not tell lies."

Umbridge looked at the pair before dismissing them from her office. Parker thought she could embarrass Draco while he was under the truth serum.
