Chapter 10 - The Chamber of Secrets

"Myrtle?" Parker called out while they all walked into the bathrooms.

Myrtle appeared from a stall before looking at them, staring at Lockhart.

"Why did you bring him here? What good is he?" Myrtle questioned.

"Just ignore him. He's not important." Ron told her.

"I was wondering if you could help us out.. By telling us how you died?" Parker asked carefully.

"Well, I was in here crying and when I walked out I was confronted by a large snake and the next minute... I was dead!" Myrtle explained before pointing towards the middle of the bathroom,"Then the snake went in there."

"Thank you Myrtle. You've been oh so helpful." Parker nodded while she inspected the sink.

"Maybe Harry should speak to it, he has a way with snakes." Erica suggested.

Harry nodded slowly before he spoke in Parslemouth. The sink then opened.

"Well, you only live once." Ron stated, jumping down the hole.

Harry jumped down after Ron.

"Shall we push him together?" Parker smirked, looking at Lockhart.

Erica smirked pushing them both down before jumping after.

"Erica!" Parker looked up at her while she fell down the hole.

Erica smiled as she landed,"Sorry but I'm not really sorry. I needed to de-stress myself." Erica stated.

Parker dusted herself off, "It was rather fun, so I'm not complaining."

Ron looked ahead and pointed at long snake skin,"Look, it's been here recently."

Lockhart ripped of a piece of the shedded skin before nabbing Ron's wand.

"Oh we're so scared." Parker rolled her eyes, knowing about Rons wand.

"What do you think you're doing?" Ron questioned his lousy professor.

"Escaping. You see, after discovering the mangled body of your friend Harry Potter was driven insane, the rest of you won't remember so you can't prove me wrong." Gilderoy explained before yelling and waving the wand,"Obliviate!"

Lockhart then got flung backwards into the rubble.

"Well.. He's dead." Parker shrugged, she knew he wasn't but she couldn't be bothered with dealing with him.

"Do you think those girls from our class would likes his ashes?" Erica asked, taking out her wand.

"Most probably." Parker nodded, taking out her own wand.

"Don't." Harry warned while everywhere around them began to shake.

Ron grabbed onto Erica and pulled her to the side as a wall of rocks starting falling.

"Oh no." Parker muttered while more rocks fell, except this time they were big.

This time they ended up creating a wall between Harry and Parker and the Weasley siblings.

Ron looked at the wall infront of himself and Erica, "Harry? Parker?"

"Guys?" Parker coughed, "Are you okay?" Harry and Parker ran up to the wall of rocks.

"We're alright, you guys?" Erica asked as Lockhart woke up.

"Oh, who are you?" Lockhart questioned the pair.

Ron looked at his sister confused before back at Lockhart, "Ron Weasley, and this is Erica Weasley."

"That's nice, who am I?" Lockhart asked again.

Ron looked back at the wall, where Harry and Parker were on the other side.

"Lockharts memory spell backfired! He doesn't know who he is." Ron informed them.

Erica knelt beside Lockhart and asked him,"Do you remember anything?"

Lockhart tilted his head, "No, not particularly. It's an interesting place, do you live here?" He picked up a piece of rock.

Erica took the rock and threw it at Lockhart,"No."

When Erica threw the rock, it had actually knocked Lockhart out.

"What'd you do that for?" Ron asked.

"I didn't mean to but we'll be able to clear the path easier without him anyway." Erica told him before facing the wall,"You guys try and find Ginny while we sort out this mess."

"Be careful." Parker sighed before her and Harry walked forward to see a metal door with snakes on it.

Without thinking, Harry spoke parseltongue to it and yet again, it opened.

"You've got to teach me that." Parker pointed at Harry before she got her wand out and walked forward.

"You can't really, it's something that you're born with." Harry told her as he moved forward with her.

Parker nodded while they climbed down a little ladder that lead to a bigger room below them.

Harry bent down and touched the floor,"It's wet."

"That may be because we're surrounded by water." Parker stated, looking around.

They were on a path, on either side of them there was water and snake head statues. In front of them, they saw Ginny.

"Ginny." Parker and Harry ran up to her, trying to wake her up.

"Oh, your friend won't be waking up anytime soon." Came a voice from the shadows.

Parker looked up, "Who-"

"Tom Riddle." Harry greeted him, "What do you mean she won't wake up? She's not.."

"No, she isn't dead... Yet." Riddle said grimly, revealing himself.

"Are you a ghost?" Harry asked.

Parker put her wand to the side while she felt Ginny's hand, "She's as cold as ice."

"Wrong again Harry, I'm merely a reflection of my former self." Riddle went on.

"Can we stop, like the chatter? Ginny could die any second, us too. There's a Basilik." Parker looked at Harry and Tom Riddle.

Riddle chuckled a bit,"Can't you see? That's the point."

Harry looked at Riddle confused, what did he mean?

"Oh.. Shit." Parker understood what Riddle meant.

"Don't you get it Harry, I'm evil!" Riddle told him.

Parker slowly grabbed her wand and pulled it to her, "Harry.. Remember what I told you earlier, about who Tom was?"

Riddle then began to write his full name out in the air, he moved his hand and it changed to, 'I am Lord Voldemort'.

"This is not good." Harry stated, standing up.

"Let's have some fun, shall we?" Riddle asked before pointing forward and speaking parseltongue.

"We need to go." Parker quickly grabbed Harry and began running as the Basilisk appeared,

Harry ran for a while before tripping over his feet, his glasses falling.

"Oh you idiot." Parker muttered, bending down to get his glasses.

They heard a bird noise, a caw. Fawks, the phoenix from earlier came flying in, going straight for the Basilik and began attacking its eyes.

"Yes! Now he can't petrify us." Harry exclaimed, putting his glasses on.

As Fawkes flew over them, he dropped the sorting hat beside them.

"The sorting hat?" Parker wondered.

"There!" Harry pointed to the sword of Gryffindor which had appeared from the hat.

"Does it have to be a Gryffindor?" Parker asked while she got up with Harry.

"Dumbledore said it only presents itself to a worthy Gryffindor." Harry explained, picking up the sword.

"Then Harry, this is your chance." Parker told him while the Basilik came over.

Parker and Harry then ran up to the big statue, climbing up onto it. When they arrived at the top, the Basilisk charged forward. Harry then plunged the sword up through the Basilisk's jaw and up through its head, getting jabbed by one of it's upper fangs in the process.

"Harry, are you okay?" Parker asked while he took out the fang.

Harry nodded as he climbed down with Parker, taking the diary from Ginny's hands and raising the Fang above his head. Parker looked at the Basilisk before at Tom. Harry then began stabbing the diary, twice on the pages, then once, going through the full book. Tom let out a scream as he disintegrated into fragments. Ginny woke up after a few seconds, looking around.

"Ginny?" Parker asked.

Ginny rubbed her eyes,"Oh, your Parker!"

Harry nodded, looking a little weak.

"We met briefly at the Burrow." She then turned to Harry, "Harry, you're hurt."

"No shit." Harry joked as Fawkes landed beside him.

Fawkes walked over to Harry, leaning against him before he cried.

"Phoenix tears have healing powers." Parker realised while she petted Fawkes.

All of a sudden, Erica and Ron ran in, completely breathless.

"Ginny!" Ron yelled as he got there first,"We removed the rocks, let's go."

"Don't worry, I didn't kill Lockhart. He's back at the entrance." Erica assured them after receiving a few looks.

Parker, Harry and Ginny got up before they walked over to the siblings, Ginny hugging them.

"Come on, we have to go now. I don't want Percy to steal my room." Erica told them, starting to walk to the entrance.

For a moment the others just watched, not sure if she was serious. And she was. They all nodded slowly before following after Erica.

**

The herd, minus Hermione, were sitting in Dumbledore's office, as they were waiting on news to see if the petrified students were back to normal as Lucius walked in. Parker crossed her arms and avoided the scowl from her father. Dobby walking in after him.

"What is it you would like to speak to me about, professor?" Lucius asked, standing in front of his desk.

"Curiously Lucius, several of the Ministry were under the impression that you had cursed the Weasleys to suspend me as headmaster." Dumbledore accused him, but they all had a feeling he was right.

"Just because we had a disagreement earlier this year, doesn't mean I'd curse the young children." Lucius shot back, defending himself.

"Liar." Parker muttered, just loud enough so her friends could hear.

"I'm assuming the culprit has been caught?" Lucius asked.

"Well, the 'culprit' is dead." Erica spoke out, fixing her laces.

"Miss Weasley is correct, the former self of Lord Voldemort has been destroyed." Dumbledore continued.

"Ah." Lucius nodded slowly.

"Although, Lord Voldemort was found, hiding in.. This." Dumbledore held up the diary.

Erica checked her watch, starting to lightly kick Ron's leg. Ron looked at Erica with a raised brow.

"What?" He whispered to her

"Oh, nothing. I'm just bored." Erica whispered back.

"You always are." Ron muttered.

"Come Dobby, we're leaving." Lucius pushed Dobby down the stairs, which caused Parker to jump.

Erica sighed,"It's over, now I can watch an adorable reunion."

"Sir. May I have this?" Harry asked Dumbledore, gesturing to the diary.

Dumbledore handed it to him,"I don't see why not."

"Thank you Professor." Harry took the book.

"Erica, can I have your sock?" Parker asked, randomly.

Erica shrugged before taking off her shoe, removing her sock and handing it to Parker before putting on her shoe and walking out with Ron. Harry and Parker followed after Ron and Erica.

"You guys go ahead. I'll meet you soon." She told the trio.

"Right, we'll be in the great hall." Erica informed her as she walked away with the boys.

Parker had took the book from Harry and put Erica's sock in it.

"Father!" She called after him.

Lucius turned around,"What is it, Parker?"

"I have your book." Parker handed it to him.

Lucius took the book from Parker, shrugged and passed it to Dobby.

"I saw you put it into Ginny Weasley's cauldron before you gave me money for my supplies. I didn't know what it was at the time." Parker told him.

"Good for you." Lucius sighed,"It doesn't matter now, my plan failed."

Dobby dropped the book and it opened,"Master has presented Dobby with clothes!"

Parker looked at Lucius with a sneaky smile, she knew he needed Dobby.

"Dobby is free." Dobby smiled and hugged the sock.

"Why you little-" Lucius started, taking out his wand.

Before he could do anything Dobby sent him flying back.

"I'll see you soon father." Parker smirked while she waved before Lucius stormed off.

"Thank you Dobby." She crouched down to his level.

"Dobby must protect Parker and her friends." Dobby told her before teleporting away.

Parker smiled before she fixed her robes and skipped off to the Great Hall.

**

As Parker looked around, she couldn't see Erica but Hermione, Harry and Ron were together.

"Welcome back Hermione." Parker hugged Hermione while she sat down, "Where's Erica?"

"She went to see Percy." Harry told her,"I'm not exactly sure where he is."

"It's strange, Percy usually tries to avoid her but now they're spending quite a lot of time together." Ron added.

Parker shrugged with a small smile while she filled her glass with water.

**

Everyone but him has came into the hall, Erica." Percy told Erica, tapping his foot.

"He'll come Percy, he was the oldest student petrified." Erica told him, not sure if that made a difference.

"That doesn't make a difference." Percy stated.

Erica spotted Oliver out if the corner of her eye and winked at him,"So Percy, how about a joke to calm you down?"

Percy sighed, "Why not?"

Erica watched as Oliver slowly walked over, making sure he was behind Percy. She then looked up at Percy's hat.

"So bro, do you call that a hat?" Erica asked him, setting up her joke.

"Of course I do. It's my hat." Percy nodded slowly.

"Well I didn't think it would pick up, it doesn't have any hands! Zing!" Erica joked.

"Erica, your jokes make no s-" Percy began but his hat was lifted up.

"I thought it was funny." Oliver told him, holding Percy's hat.

"Of course you found it funny." Percy smiled at the sound of Oliver's voice before he hugged him.

"Someone enjoys my talent." Erica sighed, leaning back against the wall just watching.

After a minute of hugging, Percy then turned to Erica and hugged her, "Thank you."

Erica accepted the hugging before pausing,"Wait, what did I do?"

"You took me to see Oliver and helped me out." Percy nodded and pulled away, "I won't take your room."

"See, breaking the rules can be a good thing." Erica stated, standing to compare her and Percy's height,"Just a year or two left Perce."

"More like five." Percy joked.
