Marina smiled at her cellphone's screen. She read the texts once again before letting it on the table and going into the bathroom.

Tony looked at Marina for a few moments in silence. "Why do you look so excited, Mar?"
"I'm excited. But I won't tell you why. We should have a serious talk before I trust you again."
Tony rolled his eyes. "Oh, please. Don't start with your cereal again!"
The brunette looked at him dead in the eyes and she adopted a dramatic tone. "But Tony! Why didn't you tell me?"
"I still don't understand how you found out." Tony sighed at the thought while he covered his face with his hands. Marina took a sip of her water, ignoring his comment and focusing on the rest of the Avengers.
"Is a trick, isn't it?" Clint asked Thor under the look of the brunette. The archer looked at her and she smiled at him before the spy looked once again at the Asgardian.
"You can try if you want," Thor cheered up with a smug smile.
Clinton accepted the defy without hesitation and he got up and got near the hammer that was on the table. The archer tried with all his strength but didn't manage to move it. Marina chuckled, mocking him. "What happened, Clint?"
"Why don't you try?" Clint answered but Marina denied the idea in an instant.
Tony got up from his spot, trying the same with his iron suit. But the result was still the same. Bruce followed and Marina smiled sweetly because of his little joke. Steve got near Mjolnir while the girl asked herself what would happen if Hulk tried to.
When Steve failed, he dropped his arms to the air in surrender and Marina smiled at him. The blonde man looked at her and smiled back before turning to his spot again. The Avengers continued arguing about the Mjolnir while Marina just searched for her cellphone to send a message.
What are you waiting for?

I'll admit that I'm impatient if you appear

Marina sighed when she didn't receive an answer and put her cellphone away. She heard her friends arguing, watching as Thor grabbed Mjolnir without any effort. "I have another theory. You're not worth it."
Marina laughed but her chuckles were interrupted by a robotic tone. "Worth it?"
Everyone in the room turned around, finding a robot looking back at them. "No, how could you be worth it?"
Marina thought that it was another experiment from Tony, one that had failed. Or maybe he just wanted to play a joke on them.
"Tony," Steve called.
"Jarvis," Tony mumbled.
Marina would be lying if she said that she didn't grow concerned when she noticed the worried look on Tony's face. Of course, the brunette, being the cautious person that she was, had a gun on her thigh. But she sure as hell wasn't prepared to fight a crazy robot.
Steve stood in front of her, protectively. Marina raised her eyebrows and her lips curved into a smile when she realized. "Steve, you are..."
"Surprise!," he interrupted. "I'm sorry, but this is not the moment to talk about it." A bunch of robots appeared in front of them, tearing up everything they could. Although it wasn't impossible for the Avengers.
The group of superheroes found their way of coverage from the bullets that flew in their direction. Steve kicked a table so this would keep the bullets away from their bodies.
Once Marina ran off bullets, she had to pray that no more robots appeared on her way.
"Are you okay?" Steve asked.
"Yeah, and you?"
Steve took a heavy breath and, letting himself go because of the adrenaline, he kissed Marina. The brunette kissed him back almost instantly, her hands running down his neck to be closer.
The group watch them both and Tony was the only one that spoke up. "That's new."
Marina and Steve separated. The brunette looked at the brown-haired man. "Shut up, Tony. You have much more explaining to do than us."
