xxxviii - hermione
"Mione, can you please go at least twenty minutes without your phone." Ron groaned at one of his best friends who turned slightly pink while still glaring at him. She mumbled a soft sorry to him, setting her phone down on the lunch table. He laid one arm casually around her shoulder and she scooted closer to him.
"You know, you two look so much like a couple I think that Lavender would throw a hissy fit." Harry commented, ignoring how she rolled her eyes at him.
"Lavender has to know that i'm just Ron's friend." Hermione said, pursing her lips as she took a bite out of the sandwich she had made this morning.
"And she knows that I've been friends with Mione since we were one."
The three of them, also known as the Golden Trio at school, continued on to their normal lunch. Until Hermione's phone started ringing again making the redhead look at her pointedly. She punched his right shoulder and turned around to start typing. The bell soon rang and Hermione instantly packed up her bag, "You two have Science after this right? I'm going to get a headstart before Professor Trelawney gets to class and get a seat in the back before anyone else."
The two bid her goodbye, and once she was out of earshot Ron said, "Alright, who does Mione keep texting? It's like she doesn't think we're as important as whoever was on that."
"Oh calm down Ron, you've been obsessing over this for at least a month it could be her parents. Get over it, we don't need another detention." Harry pointed out before walking to class. Ron sighed, defeated, and ran after him to catch up. Mark my words, I will find out what's happening, he thought, and stop by KFC before I go home.
