I then walked up towards Anri-san and took the uniform from her hands before handing my phone and bag. "Uhm, Anri-san, can I keep my glasses with me?" I asked while showing her my glasses, and she nodded. "Of course! I don't really know why you need to wear them since you have beautiful eyes, but you must have a reason, so I'll let you keep it!" She happily said, but the usual compliment came out of her mouth, making me flinch before sending her a warm smile.

"Thank you, Anri-san..."

I then walked away while putting my glasses on and waited for Nagi and Reo to come. I then noticed Reo walking towards me, making me slightly smile. He smiled back at me before we heard Anri-san somewhat struggling with something.

"Uhm... could you please hand over your phone?" Anri-san asked Nagi, who was tightly gripping onto his phone, not wanting to let go of it. Making me and Reo deadpan. "Give up the games, Nagi." Reo said while I tried to drag Nagi away.

"Hey, Reo, [Name], that woman gave me some sort of body suit. What number did you guys get?" Nagi asked while looking at me and Reo. "I got 249 V." I mumbled while looking at the body suit that was given to me. "250 V. Looks like we'll have to change into this in Room V." Reo exclaimed and I nodded in understandment, but immediately remembered something.
'Oh, right, I'm a girl.'
"Well how can I excactly change if I'm in a room with a bunch of guys?" I asked, making both males flinch and stop in their tracks.

"... I almost forgot that you were a girl."

"Ya did?!"

"Don't worry, [Name]! Me and Nagi just have to cover you up, so that no one will see you!"

After a bit of looking around, I finally spotted Room V. "Ah, hey senpai's! I found Room V!" I exclaimed, making Nagi and Reo walk up to me and looked at the door in front of us. The doors the automatically opened revealing more dudes inside.
"This is totally like "Squid Game"."
The three of us said and heard a new voice. "Ohoho! Speaking of!" We then turned to look at who it is and saw a tan guy with a smirk on his face.
"It's the genius trio from that game a while back! My, my, must be fate! We lost because we underestimated you three. Today, we're gonna determine which one of us really is the strongest!"

"..."

"Do ya know this guy or somethin'?" I asked my two seniors while pointing at the unknown dude.
"No Idea." Reo responded while giving a guy a look. "I don't remember." Nagi mumbled, making the male in front of us pissed.

"Don't fuck with me! I'm the ace of the powerhouse you miraculously won against! Make sure to remember it! Pretty boy trio!" He yelled, but I just ignored him and tugged Reo's sleeve to get his attention. "I'm gonna changes, so could ya help me?" I whispered and he nodded before calling Nagi to help cover me from the guys. Once I was finished both of them also started changing, while I looked at the other players, only to sweatdrop when my eyes landed on a certain someone.

"It looks like they separated all 300 strikers in different rooms, but... Nagi-senpai, Reo-senpai, there's a weird dude over there!" I yelled, making the said males where I was looking and saw a guy wearing his pants on his head.

"Help me... these clothes are defective... there's no hole for my head... I'm gonna suffocate..." They said, making me sweatdrop even harder. "The heck are ya even sayin'?" I asked while Nagi and Reo helped him take off the body suit. "Dude, these are obviously pants." Reo said and me and Nagi nodded. "Yeah, and you're wearing your shirt as your pants." Nagi pointed out, making the male look down and finally noticed his stupid mistake.

"Eh? Oh. You're right. Heh. I knew that from the start. It's a good "brush up" for my "prelease"." He said trying to sound smart while wearing his glasses, but I only gave him a look in respons. "What's this guy even sayin'... he's creepin' me out." I said while slightly backing away as Reo only lets out a laugh. "Haha! What a joke! This guys english is all over the place!" Reo laughed and Nagi threw the guys clothes back.
"Is he an idiot?" Nagi asked.

"I'm not an idiot! I'm just naturally funny!" The guy defended. The monitor of the room then turned on, revealing Ego himself. "Are you done changing unpolished gems...? Hi. Hi. The others in this room will be your teammates and rival, meant to push each other higher. I've used my personal judgement to quantify and rank you. The number of your uniform symbolizes your current rank." Ego exclaimed, making me look at my shoulder to see my rank before looking at the guy with glasses earlier. 'So now, the person with the highest rank here is that guy...'

"The ranking will change daily and will go up or down, depending on the training and game result. Finally those who reach the top five will be automatically registered in the tornoment happening in six months from now... the U-20 World Cup as a forward." Ego announced making almost all of us flinch at the mention of the World Cup. "Now then... time to play some tag... the time limit is 136 seconds. If you get hit with the ball by the one who's "it", you're out. Whoever's "it" when the timer runs out, has to piss back home. Also you can't use your hands." With that the monitor turned off, and a ball fell down in front of Nameoka Ryo, the one with the lowest rank.
The others then started complaining, saying that tag isn't a part of soccer.

"Haha! This is the best! If we make it to the top 5, we'll instantly go to the U-20 National Team! This is an opportunity of a life time!" Reo happily exclaimed making me sigh. "Uh-oh, here comes his protagonist mode." "Well, it can't helped. We both know that, when Reo-senpai gets like this, there's nothin' stoppin' him."
Both me and Nagi said, before a new voice spoke up.
"Idiot... you guys will lose here and get sent back home by me." Nameoka suddenly appeared behind us, and it looked like he was ready to kick the ball a us.

"Over here."

"Huh?"

"Geh- Nameoka."

Nameoka then kicked the ball at us but the three of us swiftly dodged it.
"Graaaa! Fuck!! I'm only gonna aim at you three! I'll send one of you home, then I'll crush the other two of you genius trio!!" Nameoka yelled while running towards the ball. Reo then stuck his tounge out mockingly. "Try it if you can! Bleh, bleh!" He mocked as I dodged another hit, before noticing something. "Oh? This room... I wondered why this room was real' familiar. It has the same dimension as a penalty area." I said, making Reo and Nagi nod.

"Yeah, and the fact that we only have a 164 time limit. It's probably that it's been said that in a 90-minutd match, the striker could only have the ball in a avarage of 164 seconds." Reo exclaimed, before Nagi spoke up. "So the guy who can't finish his job in the striker's "workplace"... get's eliminated, right?" Nagi said, before us trio grouped up while looking at Nameoka.

"We're gonna outlast him, Nagi, [Name]." Reo said. "Hey, Reo, [Name]. Guess losing on purpose is a no?" Nagi asked, making me let out a chuckle. "Against this guy? You'll probably find it much more easier to win, Nagi-senpai, Reo-senpai." I mocked, making Nameoka glare at us. "That's it... you're dead!" Nameoka then kicked the ball at us, but we immediately dodged it and backed away a little.

"Geez... target someone else already." Nagi mumbled. "Yer goin't to lose at this point!" I yelled at Nameoka while cuping one side of my mouth. "Yeah, at this rate you're gonna self-destruct." Reo exclaimed, which only made Nameoka angrier.
"Shut up! I told you, I'm gonna crush you three assholes!" Nameoka yelled and was about to get the ball, but glasses-kun from earlier beat him to it.

"Through out heaven and earth, I alone "run-solo"." He mumbled while giving Nameoka a piercing gaze. While we just gave him a look.
"Huh? I'm afraid that ya said that wrong." "Glasses-kun, what are you doing..." "You mean "the honored one"?" The three of us said, before finally noticing how fast Zantetsu is. 'So fast... is he a bullet train or somethin'?' I thought as I watch him stop on his tracks and look at us.
"Too bad it's my win, "audience people"."

'...Huh? What's up with that guy? The heck is he even sayin'?' I thought while giving him a look, before he spoke up again. "...What? The game stops when someone becomes it. Don't I win if I steal the ball?" He asked, making me, Nagi and Reo sweatdrop. 'Don't tell me... he doesn't even understand the rules?!' The three of us thought while watching glasses-kun wave at the monitor, calling for Ego.

"W-What are you doing, you idiot?! Give the ball back dammit!! The one who's "it" in the end loses!!" Nameoka yelled, making glasses-kun look at him in confusion. "Ehhhhh...? Uh... end... loses? Oh, ok, ok, so the person who's "it" has to hit the guy with the ball... so it's that kind of tag." He mumbled, as Reo swung an arm aroun mine and Nagi's shoulders and started laughing at glasses-kun. "Hahahahhahaha! That guy is the best, he's totally stupid! He's a natural-born idiot!" Reo laugh and Nagi nodded in agreement.
"The way he tries to sound smart by saying difficult words... yep, he looks and talks like an idiot." Nagi agreed while I looked at both of them in shock.
"Both of ya don't have to say that out loud! He may be an idiot, but ya don't have to point out the obvious!" I scolded, only making Reo laugh even harder at my statement.

"Idiot... idiot... only idiots call other people idiots!" Glasses-kun yelled and started dashing towards us. "Uh-oh... he looks pissed." Nagi mumbled while the three of us are running. "Just keep runnin' in zig zag, Nagi-senpai." I said while looking at glasses-kun. "Yeah, with that speed he can't change directions easily!" Reo exclaimed as I watch Zantetsu easily chang direction while dribbling, making me look at Reo with a deadpan face. "Ya spoke too soon, Reo-senpai." I said to him, before noticing that glasses-kun kick the ball towards me, catching me off guard.

"Too close..." I mumbled as I barely dodged the ball. "Wasn't aiming for you." Zantetsu said, making me look to my side, and saw Nagi getting hit in the face. "Nagi?!" "Nagi-senpai?!" Both me and Reo yelled in shock. "Bahahaha!! Nice shot, idiot!" Nameoka laughed, making glasses-kun snap his head towards him. "Hey, don't call me an idiot." He said, while Nagi slowly stood up.
"Not bad... Zantetsu Tsurugi. I guess I'm it." Nagi mumbled with a strong aura around him. "Reo, [Name]... everyone's fair game, right?"

"Nagi... senpai..."

"Nagi...?"

"Hah! Looks like you're finally getting serious!"

"You guys better stop calling me idiot."

Nagi then slowly stood up and... walked away from the ball? Before sitting down and leaning into one of the lockers. "Reo, [Name], anyone can be "it", right? Then, I'm going to do nothing. Wait for the time to run out, lose and go home." Nagi suddenly said, making my jaw drop before my expression changed into a realization one. 'Right... I should have seen this comin'.' I thought before walking up to the ball and slightly glared at my albino-haired senior.

"Nagi-senpai... yer a real' pain in the ass, y'know that?" I said before running forward. "Yep, I knew you would do that, [Name], Reo. I'll leave the rest up to both of you." I heard Nagi said before I passed the ball to Reo. "Reo-senpai! Please make a path for me!" I said, making him smirk and also run forward. "If it's for the sake of my "treasure" then, I'll do it." Reo said and kicked the ball towards the other players and trapped them into a corner, making them think that he messed up.

"Shut up... I'm not the one who's going to hit the ball at you guys..." Reo mumbled while watching the ball bounce towards me and smirked. "Because, he'll be the one you need to deal with... go Star Striker!" Reo finished and watched me perform a direct shot towards the other players.
"In front of me... is the idiot that falls first!" I said as I watch Zantetsu fall to the ground.

"Nice. As expected of Reo and [Name]."

"You're it again, idiot!"

"I see... then if I win... all of you are the idiots!!!" Zantetsu yelled and started sprinting towards us. Me and Reo then started running away, while I watched Zantetsu perform a fake shot, before turning to the wall and kicked the ball on it, making it bounce quickly towards me, catching me completely off guard.
'Is this guy frickin' serious?! He used the wall to just randomly hit someone!! Crap! The ball's goin' to hit me... I'm gonna lose...' I thought while closing my eyes shut and waited for the impact, but instead, I heard someone stop the ball. Making me quickly open my eyes and saw Nagi in front of me.
"Nagi-senpai..."

"Ah, that is not good. If [Name]'s gone, me and Reo will be in trouble. We made a promise remember? That the three of us will play together..." Nagi mumbled before kicking the ball away towards Zantetsu, but he manage to dodge it and hit Nameoka in the gut instead.
"Oh come on. This means I can't go home yet." Nagi mumbled, making me and Reo realized what he was trying to do earlier, and both of us jumped on the six feet bastard.

"Nagi you bastard!!"

"Yer tryin' to lose on purpose weren't ya?!"

"Oh, you both figured out? If that guy dodged, I would have saved [Name] and sent myself home in one go." Nagi admitted making making me smile bitterly. "We really can't let our guard down on ya, huh?" I said, making Reo nod in agreement and ruffled both mine and Nagi's hair. "Thanks, Nagi-senpai, Reo-senpai." I said, making them look at me.
"Huh? For what?" "It's nothin', forget 'bout it."

"Blue Lock's 1st Selection..."

Our so called teammates said while I just sat down on my futon with Nagi leaning on my side.
"I see, so that means..." I heard Zantetsu said, making me look at him. "The objection of the 1st selection is to score 10 goals, trade those points to this bonus thingy and get the heck out of here." Zantetsu exclaimed, making me internaly sigh at how stupid he was.
"Totally wrong, you morron." Reo exclaimed while looking at the monitor. "Idiot." I mumbled while cleaning my glasses using my shirt.
"Reo, [Name], I'm bored. Are there any games lying around? I'll even take a deck of cards at this point." Nagi complained while I put on my glasses and looked at him. "Stop complainin' Nagi-senpai. Just draw on the notebooks and pens they gave us." I said, making him groan and lay his head on my lap.

"I want a team that ceters around my play making! But what are you guys thoughts?" Reo asked before patting my head. "Wait, if we're Team V... then there are a lot more stronger guys than us." On of our teammates said, but Reo just laughed.

"That suits me just fine~! This is gonna be fun!"

"What-"

"I guess it's worth the shot."

"Looks like our opponents will be worth adversity... did I get that right?"

"Not even close." Our three teammates exclaimed while me and Reo sweatdropped at him. "Idiot."
"Ya mean "worthy opponents."

"Well, well, hello there you unpolished gems. Just now, Team X and Team Z kicked off their match." Ego then appeared in the monitor, making all of us look at him. "In a few moments Team V vs Team Y will. "My own goals" or "The teams victory"? The first selection will determine your fate as strikers. This is a battle about... to rebuild your soccer from zero."

[Team V vs Team Y]

We are now on our side of the field while Team Y was on theirs. I was positioned as a the main mid-fielder for the team, while Nagi and Reo are the forwards. "Alright! Let's do this, Nagi, [Name]." Reo happily said as Nagi looked at his given uniform. "Hey Reo, [Name], can't I just play as GK?" Nagi asked and I jokingly pointed a finger at our albino-haired friend. "Objection!"
"Yeah, don't be lazy and score goals." Reo scolded, making Nagi sigh. "Okay." Nagi responded, but I could tell that his face was screaming
"how should I slack off?".

[KICK OFF!!]

Nagi then passed the ball to Reo, who started running once he got the ball, I then also started running to go beside Reo to support him, but suddenly, one of our teammates stole the ball from him, making my eyes widen in shock. "Hey! What're ya doin'?! Aren't you on the same team as us?!" I yelled, but he only sended me a mocking grin.

"The top scorer survives regardless. So I don't give a rat's ass about the team winning. I'm the strongest striker!" He yelled and the other players from both teams started to fight each other for the ball. I then clicked my tounge at this and decided to keep watch from far away, in order to have a opportunity to take the loose ball. I then quickly noticed that someone accidentally kicked the ball away, making me immediately sprint towards it, but someone caught it before me.
"Thanks... for the ball. I hate getting myself into vulgar hand-to-hand combat." Mr. Bangs said.

'That guy is good, so he immediately understood the situation and also decided to keep watch and take any loose ball. He doesn't seem to know it, but... he'll be a threat to the other teams soon.' I thought before sprinting towards him and took the ball away. "Right back at ya, Mr. Bangs!" I said and started running away. One of the defenders then went in front of me to try and take the ball, but I quickly performed an elastico and got passed him. Another then came running towards me and I performed an scissors befoee tapping the ball up ang getting passed him.

"What's up with that guy?!"

"He's dribbling is insane!!"

"Is he a monster?!"

I heard them say, but I paid no mind to it and quickly passed the ball to Reo. Just as Reo caught the ball, Zantetsu stole it from him and dashed away and scored for himself. The two of them then started arguing, making me sweatdrop before realizing that Nagi was no where to be seen. I quickly snapped my head to our goal and saw Nagi slacking around. "That little lazy ass mother..." I mumbled, clearly annoyed by this, but I decided to just let him be since it would be rude of me(since Nagi is older).

[RESTART!!]

They then started fighting for the ball again, making me sigh and run towards them while swiftly taking the ball and quickly dribbling passed all players. "You're pretty skilled. A perfect balance of speed and dribbling." I then quickly snapped my head at the person beside me and saw Mr. Bangs. "Not only that, but what makes you stand out is those eyes of yours. They are beautiful, but I can tell that you're nothing but a dead star." He exclaimed, making me glare at him. "Hah? Ya know nothin' 'bout me. And watch yer mouth will ya. I don't like it when someone talks 'bout my eyes." I angrily responded, but he stayed calm. "I'm just saying how I see it."

I then noticed that I was already close to the goal, so I quickly stopped running, catching Mr. Bangs off guard, before I swiftly went behind him and kicked the ball in the net, scoring our 2nd goal. I then stood up straight before speaking to Mr. Bangs. "Hey, what's yer name?" I asked and waited for his respons. "Niko... Niko Ikki." He said, making me turn to look at him in the eyes.
"I don't give a damn about football, but ain't just a dead star... I'm... a "Star Striker". Make sure ya remember that." I glared before turning my back on him and started walking away.

On my way there, Reo tackled me into a tight hug and started ruffling my hair. "Hah! That was amazing! You totally knocked some sense into those guys!" He happily said as I patted his back. "Send another pass to me! I'll make sure to score!" Reo demanded and I only hummed in respons. "Becareful with that Niko Ikki guy, Reo-senpai. It may not look like it, but he's the biggest threat on their team." I said, making him look at me in confusion, before he continued to ruffle my hair. "Well, if my precious kohai/treasure says so, then okay!"

[RESTART!!]

For the 3rd time, they all started to fight for the ball again, while saying that they're the best striker(A/N: in your dreams motherfuc-). I then quickly took the ball again and did a long pass towards Reo. Just as I expected, Niko manage to see on who I would pass to, so he immediately went after Reo, soon Zantetsu appeared on Reo's left and both players were about to press him, but Reo quickly moved away, making Zantetsu and Niko bump each others heads as Reo quickly scored a goal. "I'm the super elite Mikage Reo!! Remember that you lowly peasants!!" Reo yelled, while I gave him an offended look. 'Ouch, does that include me?' I thought while walking towards him.

"Reo-senpai, what's the next plan?" I asked, making him look at me and pat me in the head. "All we have to do is score evenly! I'll send some pass to you and in return, you'll send some passes to me!" Reo happily exclaimed, while I looked at him in disapointment. "What a lame plan..." I mumbled. "As if you got more ideas than I do."

"There, I scored a hat trick! Are you satisfied yet stupid Zantetsu?" Reo asked while whipping some sweat on his chin. "The game is yet to be over. We still have some unfinished buisness." Zantetsu responded. "Screw off, me and [Name] don't have time to waste with you. It's about time both of us play together with Nagi." Reo said and started looking around for our albino-haired friend, he then looked at me as if asking where he was. I then pointed behind me with my thumb, making Reo look at where I was pointing at. "He's been slacking off this whole time?! And since when was he a GK...?!"

Reo then started thinking for a solution to get Nagi to play, although it was quite obvious. "Just tell 'em about the goal bonus that can get his phone back if he scored three goals." I explained making Reo's eyes widen before looking at me with a wide grin and ruffled my hair. "You're right! How could I've not thought about that?! Thanks [Name]!" Reo happily said before running towards Nagi to convince him to play.
I then saw Nagi stretching, making me realized that he was already convinced to play, so I walked up to my two partners with a small smile on my face.
"Finally decidin' to play, I see." I teased, making Nagi look at me and nodded. "Yeah, but can I slack off after I score three goals?" Nagi asked, making me and Reo let out a laugh. "Ya sure don't forget 'bout slackin' off, huh? But I'm sure Reo-senpai will allow that. Ain't that right?" I said while turning my head to look at Reo who nodded with a grin on his face.

"Yeah, I'll allow it!"

"Alright. I'll do it."

"Let's get goin' then!"

[RESTART!!]

Reo then ran towards a Okawa and started fighting for the ball, while me and Nagi ran into different directions where not much players are, to give Reo a chance to freely pass to me and so that I could freely pass to Nagi. Once Reo had the ball he immediately passed the ball to me. I then ran forward at full speed speed while dribbling past many players. "I won't let you get passed me this time!" Niko appeared in front of me, but I only smirked at him.

"Just so ya know, I ain't the one ya should be stoppin'." I said before glancing at Nagi and performed a Rabona Cross, making Niko's eyes go wide. "The real threat is right over there." I mumbled and watch Nagi trap the ball using his chest before performing a Bicycle Shot, scoring our 6th goal. "Hah! Ultra geniuses!!" Reo yelled and started running towards me and Nagi.

Niko pov:

'Those two are a friggin' cheat code!!' I thought as I watch the trio interact with each other. 'What the heck is with those two's reflexes...?! I can't believe it... to easily perform a top-level technique... and to nonchalantly pull off a super hard trap...!!! This are the "geniuses" Nagi Seishiro and [Lastname][Name]... it's cruel and unfair, but... this is Nagi Seishiro the Slacker Egoist... and [Lastname][Name] the Star Striker...!!!'

"Just two more goals, Nagi-senpai~!"

"Video... games... two more."

Hello, hello! So far, this is the longest chapter that I have done except for one of the chapters in {♧MUTE♧} I forgot which one. But that's not why I'm here right now! I'm here because I want to inform you guys that I have already planned out what's going to happen for the 1st selection to the U-20 arc! But I have two teams that I would like [Name]-chan to join in the NEL arc and I need your help! Manshine City and Bastard Munchen, which one should [Name]-chan join?
