[Name] pov:

"So someone asked you guys to have a match and you accepted it?" Kiyora asked, sitting beside me while watching me dry my hair inside the restroom. After the little encounter with Reo and the tan-male, who was named Shidou Ryusei, we accepted his offer and Karasu told Otoya, while I told Kiyora about it.

"Yeah, but I didn't like the guy one bit. He acts like he's the only one allowed to play." I mumbled with a frown on my face, before Reo suddenly popped on my mind. I immediately slapped myself when I remembered the memory when Reo told me that he didn't need me anymore. Kiyora flinched when I suddenly slapped myself, but his usual expression stayed the same. He was about to say something, but immediately stopped when he noticed tears dripping down my eyes, making him panic.

"Hic..." My tears continued to run down, while I tried to whipe them all away, but it didn't seem like it was going to stop. "H-Hey, why did you hit yourself? Does it hurt that much?" Kiyora asked with a worried expression. "I met a friend earlier..." I mumbled, making him go quiet and continued to listen to me. "We're goin' against him tomorrow... hic... we were friends even after Blue Lock started... but at the start of the second selection... hic... he told me he didn't need me anymore... hic..." I explained, as Kiyora gently placed a hand on my and started to silently comfort me anymore. "Even now all I want is... hic... to be able to play with them again... that's all I want... hic..." Kiyora then pulled me into a hug and let me cry on his shoulder, while rubbing my back.

After I had calmed down, he pulled away and started whipping visible tears on my face. "You look ugly, so stop crying..." Kiyora bluntly said. "Yer so mean Kiyora-san..." I mumbled, and started sniffing, before Kiyora spoke up again. "You're a girl aren't you?" He suddenly said, making me immediately look up at him in shock, but before I could even ask how he knew. "If you're wondering how I found out, it's because of how you would refuse to take a bath with us and you'll only shower when it's almost mid night. I thought it was suspicious so I looked under your pillow and saw your blazer... so I figured that you were a girl." Kiyora explained, making me look down on the ground.

"Are you going to tell Ego?" I asked and waited for his answer, but he didn't answer for a good minute, making me slightly nervous. "Obviously not. You said that all you wanted is to play with them again... so I might as well let you. Plus, I heard that girls cry a lot and I pity you." Kiyora explained, but his last words made me irked, and immediately slapped his hands away from my face. "Haha, very funny."
I sarcasticaly said, before feeling him gently hold my hand. "But I know that... [Lastname][Name] isn't the type of person... that would just cry in a corner." Kiyora finished, and I noticed a unvisible smile on his face. Suddenly, we heard someone clapping behind him, making both of us look at who it is.

"Wooooow, I never thought that Kiyora cares so much about our lil bro." Otoya said and continued clapping, while Karasu sweatdropped at the male beside him. "Don't ruin the moment, ya idiot!" Karasu scolded, before looking at Kiyora with a grin on his face. "But it's true, I never knew Kiyora had a soft spot for [Name]. That completely out of character of you!" Karasu teased before bothe males walked up to us and started teasing Kiyora.

"C'mon~ can't you show care towards your senpai's too~?"

"Yeah, how come [Name] is the only one who gets the special treatment?"

"Shut it. Both of you."

I watched as they bicler with each other, before looking down on the ground and letting out a whole hearted laugh, making the three stop and look at me in shock. I noticed their gaze and immediately looked up to them, only to see them staring at me with wide eyes, making me blush and look away. "W-What? Ya guys are actin' like this is the first time I laughed..." I mumbled, before feeling someone hug me tightly.
"My little kouhai is growin' up so fast!" Karasu shouted with tears streeming down his eyes as he hugged me tightly.

"K-Karasu-senpai! I can't breath!"

"All right! Let's win this match! For [Name]!"

"Yeah! Woooooo~!"

"You two are idiots."

Reo pov:

"She hates me... she hates me... she hates me..." I kept chanting as I remembered the look on her face when we encountered each other at the cafeteria, and the time when I told her that I didn't neex her anymore, she looked like she was... hurt. "She hates meeeee!!" I cried out loud, making Kurona and Igaguri flinch. "Dude are you okay? You've been mumbling that ever since you and Shidou got back." Igaguri asked giving me a look, while Kurona approached me with a worried expression. "Reo, what's wrong, wrong?" He asked while tilting his head, making me look at him with teary eyes. "Kurona... I made a mistake... and now she hates me..."

"Who is "she"? Your girlfriend?" Igaguri asked, and I finally realized my mistake. 'Shit.'
"U-Uh... "she"? Sorry I t-think I meant he hahaha..." I nervously laughed and avoided eye contact woth them. I almost revealed [Name]'s secret after all. Speaking of [Name] was the guy beside her earlier her teammate? Maybe it's one of her friends in Kyoto since both of them seem to have the same accent. But I took one look at the guy and didn't like him imediately, why do I feel so annoyed all of a sudden?

"Well, do you regret that mistake of yours, yours?" Kurona asked, snapping me out of my thoughts and looked at him, before slowly nodding. "I see, then all you have to do is apologize to him." "Yeah, why not apologize?" I stayed quiet for a while, before eventualy opening my mouth to speak. "I... I can't..." I responded, making both of them look at me in confusion.

"Why not, not?"

"Why? Do you even want to be friends with him again?"

"I do! It's just that... when I saw him again... he couldn't even look at me in the eye. He even said that I was just a stranger." I explained in a shakey voice before I placed both my hands on my head. "I think that what I said to him left a big wound on his back... I can't just walk up to him and apologize. Not after what I've said." I said and looked down on the floor.

"Then wait."

"Huh?"

"Wait for him, when he's ready to talk, thats when you can apologize... Sometimes, you just have to let others have their own time, and wait. I'm sure you can do that, right, right?" Kurona exclaimed and gently patted my shoulder, making me ease up and slightly smile. "Yeah, you're right. Thanks Kurona."
"No problem, no problem!"
Suddenly, the doors opened revealing Shidou, who immediately jumped on his bed with a grin on his face. "What's up people?! I'm finaly back!" He happily yelled.
"Ah! S-Shidou! You're back!" Igaguri yelled in surprise, only to make the said male give him a death glare. "Yeah, you gotta problem or something?" Shidou coldly said, making Igaguri flinch. "N-Not at all! D-Did you find someone we could go against?"

"Huh? Yeah! We're having a match tomorrow, there was a crow head and a dude with wierd eyes!"

{♡Meanwhile♡}

"For some reason, I feel like I want to throw someone over my shoulder." [Name] said while glaring at the wall, while Karasu nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I kinda feel pissed." Karasu agreed, while a certain ninja is sneaking behind the h/c female.

"Ninja arts...!" Otoya then launched himself to [Name] and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, making her flinch. "Friendly back hug jutsu!" Otoya yelled, before [Name] grabbed onto his arm and used her full strength to throw him over her shoulder and slammed him onto the ground. Kiyora then clapped his hands as he watched the scene before him.

"I said that it was a friendly back hug..."

"I don't care, but I feel so much better now, so thank you Otoya-san!"

"You should poke his eyes out next time too."

"Yeah, give 'em a acl if it doesn't work!"

"Now you guys are just being mean..."

{♡Back to Reo♡}

"I think the dude with wierd eyes has a history with Mikage over there." Shidou said while pointing at me. "The guy looks pretty weak, honestly, I don't see anything special to him." Shidou mocked, making me irk and send him a glare. "Hey... don't talk bad about someone if you don't even know them." I said with a cold aura around me, making Shidou raise a brow. "What's this? You're defending the pipsqueak now? That's unsual." Shidou said, as I stood up and glared at him even harder.

"[Name] isn't weak. He may not look like it, but he does his best at everything and is always willing to help. He's a strong and fast player on the field."

"And how do you know that?"

"Because he's my partner... no... it's because [Name] is my treasure."

[Name] pov:

"Ya nervous?" I looked up only to see Karasu smiling at me. "Ah, Karasu-senpai. Well, I'm quite nervous today." I softly said, making him chuckle and ruffle my hair.
"Ya don't have too! I get ot since yer goin' against a friend of yers, but ya have to focus! And smile will ya?" He said, keeping his smile on his face. I then let out a sigh before giving him a small smile, before I felt someone pat my back. "Make sure to assisst me when I need some, yeah?"
"Sure, sure~, is your back okay now Otoya-san?" I asked, making him sigh. "Wepl, it still stings from the impact you gave me, but I'll be fine~." Otoya cooed before a new voice joined in the conversation. "You should've slammed him on tge ground harder. We can win without him." Kiyora said, while Otoya placed a hand on his chest and looked away with crocodile tears. "So mean... now you've shatered my heart..."

"Shut up."

"Perverted ninja."

"Now, now don't be mean to him."

"You guys... do you hate me that much?"

As we entered the field, we saw the opposing team alrwady there. I felt Reo's gaze on me, but I just ignored it and recalled our plan.

{♡Flashback♡}

"Now, I've watch some of their matches. And I'll explain the best options." Karasu said before showing us our next formation. "This will be our formation. I'll be dealin' with Mikage, he's passes are the ones keepin' their team alive, all ya have to do is wait for my signal to attack. I'll cut off all his passes, so someone needs to keep watch." Karasu ezplained before looking at Otoya. "That's where you come in Otoya. You'll stay behind the monk and wait for opportunities to take the ball, but if that doesn't work..." Karasu then looked at me. "[Name] we'll need you to keep watch on Kurona, he's pretty fast, that's why we need you. If he see's an opportunity to take the ball, block his way and take the ball instead." Lastly, Karasu looked at Kiyora. "Kiyora, we need you to stay near the goal. Because from what I've observed, Shidou would immediately run there and wait for a pass. Since you're the strongest here, I need you to make sure he isn't in a position to score."

"And that's about it. Any questions?" Karasu asked as I raised my hand, making him look at me and nod. "Karasu-senpai... can we switch roles?" I asked, making them look at me in shock. "Huh? Why?" Otoya asked, but Kiyora only stayed quiet. I placed my hand down and gave them a determine look.
"I want to show Mikage-senpai, that I'm not the same person he took care of. I want to show him, the real [Lastname][Name]. I want him to keep his eyes on me."

"Hah! So you basically want to show off huh?" Karasu laughed before resting his head on hi hand. "Fine by me! I was actually plannin' on goin' against that Kurona guy anyways! Do yer best, Mimic..."

'I'll definitely... make you regret for leaving me...!'

[KICK OFF!!]

I passed the ball to Otoya and immediately ran towards Reo, when I saw him about to block Otoya's way. "Sorry, I can't let ya do that. Otoya-san... needs to get to the goal." I said, making him look at me with a troubled look on his face. Igaguri then started runnimg towards Otoya to use his weapon, but just as he was going to launch himself at him, Otoya swiftly dodged, leaving the monk on the floor. "Sorry, but you ain't gonna foul any of us in this match." Otoya said and proceded to run forward, but Shidou and Kurona got in front of him. "Try getting past us, Mr. Ninja~!" Shidou cooed, while I left Reo in his place and started running towards them at full speed, also mimicing Otoya's weapon. "Sorry, but... our lil bro is waiting for a delivery you see." Otoya nonchalantly responded before kicking the ball over them towards me.

"Delivery for [Lastname][Name]."

"Nice Otoya-san, I'll give ya a treat as as a reward."

I kicked the ball towards the goal and into the net, scoring our 1st goal. I let out a breath, before pointing a finger at Reo and gave him a glare. "Ya see that Mikage-senpai? The [Lastname][Name] ya once knew... is no longer here."
