The night before the day of marriage

Khushi was having hot chocolate looking out side the window lost in her thoughts

Khushi(thinks) - Can't believe all this is happening so soon, ek vaqt tha jab har pal I used to dream about this day but aaj I feel totally confused. I don't want to get married but I also want to get married. It feels as if I will lose all the people I love and who matter to me the most. I will have to leave everything and maybe get busy like Kriti... Shaadi se pehle Kriti had all-time for me lekin ab she is so busy.. use sirf mujhe nahi Karan ko, uski family ko, hamari family ko, sabko time dena padta hai.. I don't want that. But at the same time, I wanna marry Shiv and live with him happily like Karan and Kriti live happily with each other. Ok.. is it not possible that he comes and lives with us here instead of me going there? If it can happen.. please someone make it happen!! All the functions including Mehandi, Haldi, Sangeet, Puja I enjoyed a lot but at the same time it reminded me that time is going out of my hands... It was like 3 days left, then 2 days left, 1 day left and now hardly a few hours. I am in my house with everyone! Mom, Dad, Karan, Kriti even Yash is here. And not to forget my lovely Brutus. I have made quite a good bond with him too and now I won't get to play with him and take him on long walks with Kriti.

Karan, Kriti, Kavin, Purvi comes in Khushi's room and see her lost in her thoughts

Kavin- Princess.. kya baat hai? Kya soch rahi ho?

Khushi- Dad?? Aap sab log andar kab aaye?

Karan (goes to her and hits her forehead)- just now!! tu Bata kya soch Rahi Hai?

Khushi- I don't want to get married Karan... shaadi Cancel kar de kya?

Kavin- reallyyy?? Ha ha betaa... kyu nahi? mai abhi call karke sab kuch cancel karvata hu.. this is your best decision Princess!! I am proud of you!

Karan- exactly... come dad I will help you out!

Purvi- what?? Kavin!!! Karan ka to thik Hai par aap bhi kya bole ja Rahe ho?

Kavin- kya?? Sahi to hai.. if she doesn't want to marry then let's cancel na, she will stay here... with us!

Kriti (goes to Khushi): Jaan kya hua? Why don't you want to marry?

Khushi- I mean I want to.. but I also don't want to.. yaar kuch samajh nahi aa raha..

Kavin- Princess don't think much... nahi karni Na to cancel kar dete hai... don't worry!

Karan- Ha and chill.. Shiv bhi samajh lega..

Purvi and Kriti look at both them

Kavin- Khushi tujhe bhook lagi Hai? Tu Ruk.. I will go make something for you and get it, Subah se Saare rituals mein busy thi na?

Purvi- you are gonna cook!

Kriti- but she already had her food

Purvi- aur koi shaadi Cancel nahi ho rahi hai.. bacchi Ko samjhane ki jagah aap bhi kya baccho ke saath bacche ban rahe ho? Shaadi cancel kar dete hai.. khel hai kya? aap dono na jov yaha se, hum bat karta ha khushi se, shadi usko kari ha ya nahi vo to bad ki bat ha, yaha to aap dono shadi cancel karva ka liya zaya excited ho.

purvi-chup! abhi aap dono kuch nahi bolo ja, chup chapp yaha khada raho

khushi- if i get married i will have to go na, and then slowly sab se bond bhi chut jayaga

kavin and karan- what!!!!

kavin- she is right purvi

karan- nahi essa thodi chalaga, she will go away from us, and then busy ho jayagi, and humara bond and noooo... she wont marry

kavin- ha ma shadi cancel karva deta hu

khushi- yess, I won't leave you all, so i won't marry

(she went and hugged karan and kavin)

Kriti: hmm.. haa mom.. Dad aur Karan bilkul sahi keh rahe hai.. Khushi ki shaadi nahi hogi..

Purvi: Kyaa?? Kriti tum bhi??

Kriti: haa mom.. Khushi ki shaadi nahi hogi!!

Karan: yesss... Ab to Kriti bhi hamare saath hai.. ab Khushi kahi nahi jayegi

Kriti: apne bags pack karne

Karan: ye kya mazak hai Kriti??

Kriti: mazak?? Chhodo.. I don't need to explain anything.. mai jaa rahi hu.. bye Khushi.. bye Mom Dad.. bye Karan.. aur haa mai waha jake divorce papers bhej dungii to please jaldi se sign kar dena hn..

(She is leaving the room when he holds her wrist)

kriti: Chhodo Karan..

Karan: bass bohot ho gaya..

(He takes her to their room and pins her to the wall)

karan: What the hell is going on? Ghar chhodke jaa rahi ho? And divorce?? Do you even hear yourself? You know how much I love you and You love me right? Aur abhi thodi der pehle tak to sab thik tha na... ye achanak se kyu..

Kriti: kyu? Wo actually na Karan mujhe realise hia ki mai apne Mom Dad Yash Chachi Dadi sabse na bohot pyaar karti hu.. to there is no point in me leaving away from them naa

Aur hamara rishta bhi to Important hai naa.. family ka pyaar aur life partner ka pyaar dono mein bohot fark hai Kriti aur jab tunhe dono eksath mil raha hai to tum..

Karan: Khushi.. Princess tere bags kaha hai?

Khushi: bags khali kar rahe ho na? Ruko mai bhi karti hu.. yahi par pade hai

Karan: Shiv ki gaadi mein rakhne hai bags.. mai lekar jaa raha hu.. jaldi se tayar ho ja Princess.. aaj teri shaadi hai!!

Karan: kyaa?? Chalo jaldi.. thodi der mein baarat bhi aa jayegi

Purvi: are waah Kriti.. acchi patti padhai hai aaj tune to ise kuch!

Khushi- what waah!! I hate you all... And karan... Great mari shadi kal ha and issa abhi hi karva deni ha, you all don't love me, bus muja yaha se bejna chata ho.

Karan- khushii! Next time yeh kaha na then I will kill you, obviously we love you yar

Kavin- aara par usko shadi nahi karni ha na, leave it

Kriti- khushi you don't want to marry shiv?

Khushi- karni ha!

Purvi- abhi to bol rahi thi nahi karni

Purvi- Kavin! And Khushi aaj nahi to kal you will marry and go na

Kriti- ok Khushi see who am i to you

Khushi- Kriti kya puch rahi ha, obviously mari best friend

Kriti- exactly mari shadi ka did it change? No na, dispite me being your bhabhi, hum bff hi ha na, then see did my and yash equation change?

Khushi- no... Par yet kam hogaya na from before

Kriti- Khushi new relations ka purana tut ta thodi ha

Purvi- and rahi bad yaha ana ki you can come whenever you want, no one is gonna stop you

Karan- shiv bhi mana nahi karaga, infact usko sat hi leka aana we both will enjoy and you and your besti can enjoy.

Purvi- now its geting late, lets go sleep, kal bohat sari taiyariya karni ha

Karan and Khushi(excitedly)- movieee

Kavin- ok then you both set the movie i will get some snacks

Khushi and Karan- noooo!!!

Karan- dad app set kar lena movie hum kuch leka aata ha

khushi- yes, plz aaj apka hat ka nahi khana, karan can make something

kavin- ha ha thik ha jav, i will set the movie, par sambhal kar jana, purvi ne dekh liya na to sab maranga

Khushi- chill dad we will handel.

(They both went down to kitchen and start taking out snacks while karan makes some too, just then they heard a fake cough and look back to see kriti there)

Kriti- jaha tak muja pata ha, mom ne aap sab ko sona ko kaha tha na

Khushi- hamara chod you also should be sleeping na yaha kya kar rahi ha

Kriti- pani lena aai thi, vasa mom ko bata du yaha kya chal raha ha .....

Karan- kriti plzzz noo she will kill us

Khushi- ha mari jaan plz in fact essa ho then you also join us

Kriti- nahi nahi tum log hi dekho, i am watching with mom, ma abhi nasta lena hi aai thi

Karan khushi- ohk.... Wait whatttt

Karan- you and mom...

Khushi- are watching movie...

Karan- and she told us to sleep...

Karan khushi- not fairrrr

(Just then karan got kavins phone he picked up)

Karan- yes dad

Kavin- kya kar raha ho chalo jaldi movie is sat

Karan- yes dad coming

(He hung up the phone)

Karan- chal khushi dad is waiting and kriti...

Kriti- ya chill i won't tell mom but she already knows, she only told me that yeh log to sona vala nahi ha and having there time then let us also have mother daughter time

khushi- wow great then enjoyy

Kriti- yes

(Karan and Khushi left from there and went to Khushi's room. Khushi Karan and Navin enjoy the full night having fun together, pulling each other's legs, making Karan sing songs, Khushi and Kavin dance, and finally slept together around 5 am in the morning, on other hands, Purvi and Kriti watched a movie and enjoyed together at slept at midnight)

NEXT DAY

In The Morning, The Haldi Functions were heald separately for both shiv at Khushi at there respective homes, after which Khushi was taken back to get room made to rest till the beautician came to get her ready for the wedding around 3pm.

In evening

The full house is under chores, everyone is doing some or the other work, khushi was in her room. The barat came and they all were welcomed. As there was yet time for the wedding to begin, shiv was made to sit on stage, Janvi was with him, and later karan kriti yash and debraj join them.

Karan- so shiv ready to handel khushi ek the drama queen

Shiv- i guess so

Karan- so you agree she is drama queen wait abhi jaka batata hu

Shiv- when did I say that , Marva kyu Raha Ha

Janvi- idiot he is kidding leave all that how am I lookinggggg

(She asked twirling on her place)

(Yash looked at her , removing his eyes from phone and keeps staring at her)

Kriti- beautifulllll.... Diii your looking awesome

Karan and shiv- beautiful.... Kahi se nahi

Karan- make up ki dukan lag rahi ha

Shiv- aur yeh kya pehna ha, yar mari shabdo ha, ajj to thodi aachi dekh jati, so I can say u are my bff, itna time kita ready hona ka kita yet look the same.

Karan shiv- yash ki language ma chudail!

(Yash came to his sence hearing them)

Karan- sahi kaha na yash

Yash- exactly boys, and it's obvious na chudail jitna bhi samay leka ready ho, last ma to chudail hi dekhagi na

Khushi was in her room waiting for her call, as the pandit ji called her Kriti and Janu got her down to the asile. Nervousness was cleanly visible on her face. As the ritual of the fun filled varmala started Karan, Yash, Karthik and Sameer picked her up on their shoulders taking her out of Shiv's reach.

Karan :- arey! Itni asaani se toh nahi hoga Shiv!

They four lifted her on their shoulders. Khushi giggled at Shiv's face.

Mahir :- haan toh hum asaan kar dete hain na!

Mahir Siddharth and some other Shiv's cousins lifted him on shoulders, as Shiv tried to put the mala around her neck she bent towards back giggling. Shiv finally somehow put the mala around her neck after Khushi decided to give in and bent towards Shiv letting him put on the varmala.

Mahir :- soch leh Shiv! Bhabi zindagi bhar ese hi satati rehne wali hai tumhe!

Karan:- haan haan! Soch leh Shiv! Tera best friend hoke yeh free advise to pehele hi deh chuka hun! Yet!

Shiv :- uski pagal panti se hi toh pyaar hua tha! Abb woh nahi sahunga toh kya hi matlab hai mere pyaar ka!?

Khushi looked up at him and smiled blushing and looked back down at the floor.

Yash :- okay Majnu! Abb baari hai humari behen ki! Come on Khushi!

Shiv jumped off the boys shoulders and went on one knee infront of Khushi and bowed down his head making all the girls cood at him. Khushi blushed more hiding her face behind her palms , the boys smiled at the couple and put Khushi down she made him wear the mala, he looked up at her with his evergreen divine smile and side hugged her.

Purvi :- chalo chalo! Bohat hogya hai masti! Muharat nikla jaa raha hai! Chalo bachhon!

Purvi and Janki made them both Sit next to eachother infront of the Agni, the priest was chanting the mantras, Khushi was sitting looking down blushing and nervous. Shiv saw her and leaned towards her a bit and whispered to her.

Shiv :- mujhe marne ka plan hai!?

Khushi :- huh!?

Shiv :- Inti beautiful lagegi toh main toh gaya! Looking like a fairy!

She blushed more and three wine red was visible on her face due to the blush. Shiv internally Chuckled and pecked her cheeks kicking out all her nervousness. She looked back at him and smiled with content.

Janvi was with Kriti And the Other girls looking at Debraj

Janvi(thinks):- yar he is looking sooo hot and cutee at same time, merko shiv khushi par concentrate karna chahiya par nahi essa banda samna khada ho to kon kar payaga, his eyes, his li...god janviii.... Kya soch rahi hai tuu!! He is just your good friend, ha vo baat alag hai ki Debraj and Yash bhai hai and yet you ended up being good friends in such short time, tuja uska sath time spend karna aacha lagta hai, vo yash se bohat alag hai, but you can't think like this, vo tera dost hai like shiv and karan. She was about to go to karan when Yash banged into her, Janvi was about to slip and fall but yash heald her on time. and the flowers he was carrying falled upon both of them.

Janvi- banderrrr! Dekh nahi sakhta kya kaha ja raha hai!

Yash made her stand properly

yash- mera hath ma to yeh flowers ki plate thi par chudail tera dhayan kaha tha? dekh kar nahi chal sakhti kya?

Janvi quickly left from there before he can ask her any more questions

Par kuch to gadbad jaroor hai.. Chudail and not fighting with me.. it's strange!! Like really really strange.. This Chudail is just so much like her.. aur aaj bhi, that dress... Isne chun chun ke bass usike favourite colour aur pattern ka dress pehna hai... Diva bhi bilkul aisi hi dikhti thi.. aur itrati bhi aisi hi thi.. Diva used to look just like this Chudail.. aur mujhe bandar bhi to iske pehle wahi bulati thi.. hamesha bass ladti rehti thi mujhse.. aur isike jaise whenever she used to be lost in her own thoughts bilkul aise hi mukhse ladna bhool jaati thi and used to stay away so that she doesn't end up revealing everything in front of me. (Laughs) Sangeet mein bhi that song reminded me so much of her... Wait wait..! I am soo dumb! Janvi is almost like her... Shitt.. mujhe pehle kaise realise nahi hua? Iska to matlab saaf hai.. she is trying to hide something! Yaaar.. aur ek naya kaam. I will have to find it out now.. but later, for now, I should go phara are going to start in a while

The priest asked Shiv to put them sindoor amen makes her wear the mangalsutra.

Kriti sided the mangtika on Khushi's forehead, Shiv filled her hairline and a dust of it fell on her nose making them both chuckle. He made her wear the mangalsutra and whispered a I Love You in her ears to which she blushed but replied back with a I love you too. Karan, Kriti, Jhanvi and Yash came and hugged them both then Karan and Kriti tied the knot for the pheras. The newly wed took the pheras with determination, love and responsibilities.

Pandit :- Vivah Sampan hua Aaj se aap dono Pati Patni ho! Badon ki aashirvad lelena!

They both went and took blessings from Shiv's dadi and then Khushi's Dadi and Nani and then their parents, as they were done they came face to face with their friends who jumped on them hugging them tightly congratulating them.

Jhanvi :- finalllyyy!!!!! The Second couple in our gang to be married!!!

Yash :- oh yess!! And next toh teri hi number hai Chudail! Get ready!

He said hitting the back of her head irritating her.

Debraj :- Yash! Usko kyun pareshan kar rha hai yaar tu! Chup rehna!

He said and Jhanvi smiled lightly before Yash poked her again.

Yash :- kyun!? Debu bhai! Aap kuch zyada hi iss Chudail ki side nahi leh rhe ho aaj kal!?

Debraj :- chup kar! Chalo sab khane chalte hain! Sabko bhook lagi hogi!

Karan :- haan haan chalo!

Karan left from there to arrange their foods. Kriti, Khushi and Shiv saw him going.

Khushi :- main usse baat karke aayi..

She said and went behind Karan, he was making their plates when she went and and tapped on his shoulders. He turned back to her asking

Karan :- haan kya hua? Ruk jati na main leh aata! Itni kya bhukhad hai yaar tu!?

Khushi :- come on bhai! You know you can't lie to me!

Karan :- m.. matalab!?

Khushi :- bhai.. main yahi hun! Roz aaungi tumse milne!

She said and hugged him tightly. He sighed and hugged her back tightly.

Karan :- we'll all miss you princess!

Khushi :- I'll miss you too bhai! But.. yahi Shiv ke ghar par hi houngi! I'll come whenever I feel like meeting you whenever you wanna meet me! Aur! College mein toh milenge hi na!

Shiv :- and I'm your bff! Pehele ki jese kabhi bhi bina bataye mere ghar aana ka pura haq humesha hai! You know that right!

Shiv said coming there Karan chuckled nodding Shiv joined them in the hug.

Shiv :- I promise you ki her first priority will always be you!

Karan :- ofcourse main hi hounga! Bhai joh hun uski! Aur haan! Khushi! Tune mere bff ko zyada satai na toh teri toh baat lagegi! And the same goes to you!

Shiv/Khushi :- aye aye captian!

Karan :- chal pagal! Bhook nahi lagi abb!

Khushi :- bohat zor se!!

Everyone came got their food and sat down around a table Kriti and Yash fed Khushi and the besties Kriti, Khushi and Yash and Karan Shiv and Jhanvi had some good bestie time with Karthik and Sameer joining Khushi, Kriti and Yash.

All were done and it was time for bidai. Khushi hugged everyone for a long time and tried her best to not cry bad. She hugged Kavin and Karan for the longer time and Kriti and Yash. She bid bye to all and sat inside the car krit hugged Karan crying watching Khushi leave. Yash was standing aside alone crying lost in his thoughts Janu saw him and went and hugged him keeping aside the Bander Chudail fights for a while.

Yash :- I'm fine Jhanvi..

Janvi :- yea I can see that! Come on Yash! Tune hi kaha tha na ki jab bhi ek dusre ko chahat hai toh sab kuch thodi dher ke liye dhoor rakh ke we'll be there by eachother's side! You can share with me!

Yash :- I know Jhanvi.. but I'm alright! Bass.. yahi ki abb she'll also get busy with her married life!

Janvi :- but you know right! She's still your same best friend joh Tera princess hai!

Yash nodded his head wiping off his tears they pulled back.

Janvi :- do you know Bander ese rote hue kitna ghanda lagte hain!?

Yash :- yea just like the same way Chudails look while giving Gyan!

She hit him he pulled her hairs both looked at eachother and bursted out laughing all left for their homes. In car as soon as the doors closed and the car started off Khushi bursted out crying and couldn't stop Shiv hugged her tightly caressing her hairs.

Shiv :- shh!! Relax bachha sab thik ho jayega! You know kabhi kuch nahi badlega everyone and everything's still gonna stay the same right! You're staying at my place instead of Sharma house! Par yahan bhi there are lot who love you to core! You know right!

She nodded and stopped crying just as they reached Shiv's house. Shiv kissed her forehead as they parted, Khushi smiled at him and nodded, the car doors opened for them to get off, they went to the entrance Khushi was made to dip her hands in the sindoor water and printed her hand prints in the pillar and was made to kick the rice pot and she left her foot prints inside the house as she stepped in the sindoor water before placing her foot on the floor.

The elders decided to do the leave the balance rituals for the next day as it was already too late. Shiv was down in the living room talking to some of his friends and cousins. Khushi was taken to Shiv's room and Alka, Nemo and Bishu made her sit on the bed waiting for Shiv and we're teasing her like anything.

Nemo :- So bhabi! I'm soo sure you'll be tired for tomorrow! Haina!?

Khushi :- huh!?

Nemo :- haan! Itni heavy lehenga! Itne saare rasme and stuff! Shadi is too tiring!

Khushi :- uh.. yeah! Woh toh hai..!

Alka :- kyun bhabi!? Aapko kuch aur laga!?

She asked teasing her as she and Bishu giggled making Khushi go all red.

Bismita :- arey! Dheko toh! Kese sharma rhi hai!

Khushi :- Bishu dii!! Pleasee yaar!!

She pouted at them with red face. They all left her and went out.

Shiv came inside and saw Khushi sitting on the bed list in her thoughs, he smiled and went snap his fingers in front of her

Shiv- you ok, kaha khoi hui ho

Khushi- ha! Kahi nahi, just thinking finally married na.

Shiv- yes

Khushi- i am tried yar!! Gosh this dress and jewellery are sooo heavy

Shiv- shall I help in removing them 😉

Khushi(hitting him on shoulder)- shut up

Shiv- ok ok, you go change first if your uncomfortable

Khushi- yesss

She went to change her dress but realized that kriti had changed her night dress to a short reveling one

Khushi (thinks) :- yarrr abhi ma yeh pehna ka bahar kasa jav! Iss Kirit ki bacchi ko to ma chodna nahi vali

Shiv- khushiii yar kitni der, jaldi kar na even i wana change

Khushi- can't!!

Shiv- kyu? Kya hua?

Khushi- aara yeh kriti changed my night dress too.... Jo bhi ho but ma yeh nahi pehan sakhti! And meri bags bhi will tomorrow, abhi bas night dress yeh vali and kal ka kapda hai

Shiv- come on yar canr be that bad, phen le nha, or else ek kam karo, ander meri T-shirt hogi wear that if thats comfortable

Khushi- ha ok mai dekhti hu

Khushi took his tshirt and as it was coming upto her knees, she wore that and went out after removing her makeup and making her hairs.

Shiv saw her and got lost in her

Khushi- jav now go change mera ho gayaa

He heard her and came back to his senses

Shiv- yes going vasa (going here her and whispering in her ears) my tshirt suits you, ek kam karo tum hi rakh lo issa as your permanent night dress (winked at her)

Khushi blushed the shade of pink and hit his sholder, pushing him towards the washroom

Khushi- kuch bhii!!! Abhi go change nhaa! Merko bojay zayda tiredness ho rahi hai and nind bhi aa rahi hai so jaldiii

Shiv- ha ha thik hai ja raha hu

He went changed and came back to see Khushi sleeping with book on her face in seatting position, he chuckled and went to her, took the book closing it and kept it on side table, then made her sleep properly and covered her with blanket kissing her forehead and then slept next to her.
