Jun-Oh tilted her head back to look up at the sky as the three sat on at a picnic able. The sun was starting to go down by this point. When darkness falls, the fireworks are supposed to go off. "Wow, the sunset looks so pretty," Jun-Oh commented with a smile.

"Yeah," Kris responded. Though, his eyes were locked on his phone.

Soojin glanced over to look at the screen with suspicion.

Kris pulled his phone away and turned it off. "What are you doing?"

Soojin squinted her eyes at him. "I was just wondering what's more important than spending time with someone you bought ice cream for." Soojin let out a disappointed sigh and leaned over to Jun-Oh. "You know who wouldn't do that? Ky—"

Jun-Oh put her hand over Soojin's mouth. "Soojin," she muttered, giving her a stern look.

Soojin moved away. "I mean, I was just saying."

"What do you want to do?" Kris asked Jun-Oh, turning away from Soojin.

Soojin quickly checked the time on her phone.

"Hmm," Jun-Oh thought. "Maybe we could—"

"Go to the dunking booth," Soojin suggested in excitement. She grabbed Jun-Oh's arm and stood up from the seat. "We should go now."

"Soojin!" Jun-Oh exclaimed, trying to get her arm out of Soojin's grasp as she started running. "You can't just go without a warning!"

"I'm excited to dunk someone," Soojin chuckled, hopeful for the plan to come into play.

"Soojin!" Jun-Oh forced the both of them to stop. "What is going on with you? You've been acting insane all day and, quite frankly, rude to Kris."

Kris come jogging up to Jun-Oh and Soojin. He seemed fairly confused by the situation.

Soojin hesitated, her bright and excited expression falling. "I just... I was wanting to go to the dunking booth."

"Then go," Jun-Oh sighed. "We'll wait for you to come back."

"You don't understand I..." she trailed off.

"You don't understand either." Jun-Oh took a couple steps closer to Soojin and lowered her voice. "I don't want to be dragged by the wrist everywhere you go. I get tired. A guy is showing interest in me and actually doing something about it." Jun-Oh glanced back at Kris for a brief moment. He got out his phone to busy himself while Jun-Oh talked to Soojin. "An attractive guy I should add. I mean, you know? I just want to see what could happen."

Soojin couldn't find the right words to say. It seemed like trying to say anything to contradict her statement would make Soojin a bad friend. The plan was falling apart. Instead, Soojin just slowly nodded. "I understand. I'll go to the dunking booth and let you guys have alone time." She forced a smile.

Jun-Oh returned a real one and pat Soojin's arm. "Thank you, Jinnie. I'll make it up to you, I promise."

"Okay." Soojin waved to Jun-Oh as she backed away. "See you later." She spun around on her heels and started heading to the games section so she could find the dunking booth.

Chanyeol was leaning against the counter at the ticket stand while Kyungsoo sighed from the chair inside the tank.

"Can we switch now?" he asked Chanyeol loudly so he could hear him.

"Just wait a little longer." Chanyeol straightened himself at the sight of Soojin, but showed confusion when Jun-Oh wasn't by her side.

"Hey," Soojin put a smile on her face as she approached him. "It's funny running into—" she shook her head, dropping the smile, "you know what, enough of that. I don't think this plan is going to work out."

Chanyeol cocked his head to the side and leaned closer to Soojin. "What do you mean?"

"Kris is getting in the way."

Chanyeol huffed. "I'm going to talk to him." Chanyeol took a couple steps away from the booth, but Soojin grabbed ahold of his arm and pulled him back.

"You are not," she told him, still holding his arm. "We need to come up with a better plan if we're going to stop this instead of you marching over there and causing a scene."

"Look," Chanyeol let out a slow breath. "I liked Kris, he was one of our best friends."

"Liked?" Soojin repeated as she dropped her grip. "Was?"

"I don't want him to take someone from Kyungsoo again."

"So this isn't the first time he's gotten in the way?" Soojin became very serious from the information.

   Chanyeol nodded in response.

   "What happened?" She asked.

"There's a reason Kyungsoo is always so cold, especially to those he has an interest for." Chanyeol drew in a big breath before continuing. "About four years ago, Kyungsoo knew this girl named Minji. He used to be more talkative and willing to pursue things he wanted then. Kyungsoo would constantly talk about her at work with this huge smile on his face. At the time, Kris was working there too, along with Luhan and Tao. Apparently, Kris had been sneaking around us and hanging out with Minji even though he knew the feelings Kyungsoo had. Minji came in pretty often, and one day Kyungsoo had the nerves to ask her on a date. That's when he found out she was seeing Kris."

Soojin was shocked and felt deep sympathy for Kyungsoo. "That's incredibly low."

"Yeah, it really hurt him. He lost trust in a lot of people, especially Kris. He wouldn't talk to him for weeks, though Kris didn't seem that bothered by it. He only said that when he first met Minji he didn't know Kyungsoo liked her, but that doesn't explain why he didn't tell Kyungsoo earlier instead of letting him get hurt. We weren't even surprised when he hurt Minji just as bad. She never came back to Universe, and none of us saw her again. Everyone was upset with Kris and he eventually didn't want to deal with it anymore and left. Kyungsoo shut us out of his emotions and put up a cold barrier. He acted out with anger a lot and the whole situation made us all feel distant. Luhan left soon after, and later so did Tao. He's healed since then, and I don't believe he really thinks about Minji all that much. There's still a barrier between his emotions and the outside world."

"That's awful," Soojin muttered while looking over at Kyungsoo. "I feel so bad for him."

Kyungsoo had his head positioned to watch the sun set while in the dunking tank.

"Jun-Oh would be good for him." Chanyeol turned in Kyungsoo's direction as well. "Kris can't get in the way of his happiness again."

"I feel like Kyungsoo would also make Jun-Oh happy with all the stress she's been feeling. I know she likes him."

"Mission 2.0," Chanyeol started, "Kyungsoo and Jun-Oh's road to happiness."
