Chapter 8|Thank You
|Time|
2 Months 29 Days
The third generation has been given the biggest opportunity to show they have grown. And you know what. Even the two generations agreed so...
They took the thirds to the Mourning Place. What was it you may ask? The Mourning Place was a place made to honor the fallen Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and Norse demigods themselves. Those who fell and the people who were apart of this history. Upon entering there were pillars everywhere and statues everywhere and even people unknown to them everywhere. All of the statues of different people all labeled with ancient Greek writing of who they were.
However, the thirds were seated as the legends and originals sat on a stage. The first one to stand to the Mic was Brian who released a shaky breath and closed his eyes before opening them.
"Allowing you all here is a major privilege to even be granted. We brought you here today so we can honor the people we care about and for you to know who fought with us. The people who are the true legends and will never be forgotten." He took a heavy breath before speaking.
"Their names were Wolf Mythic LulaPaw and Charlie Mythic LulaPaw. They were my older siblings and also children go Zeus. I will always honor my brother and sister and admire them even if they're gone. They lost their lives in the war to save other lives. I miss them every day and sometimes.... sometimes I wish they were still here. They were people I will grow up to be. My sister was a lieutenant in the military and recently promoted as well. My brother was a police officer who was very heroic and honorable that I wish to be like the both of them.
And I even see some of them in you all. I see the people I know I can trust. And I want to tell them finally that... I love you guys so much and I'm sorry I didn't properly be the person I should live up to. They will always be my siblings. I hope to meet them again." He bowed as he wiped his eyes and took a seat. Sheldon this time standing up and going.
Sheldon gave a sad smile as she cleared her throat. "Her name was Kailee Celeste Moon. She was my best friend and a huntress of Artemis. In my opinion the best one... And she fought to protect people and make sure we assured our victory. There's never a day that goes by where I don't miss my best friend by my side. The person who would crack silly jokes with me and agree to come sit under the stars while eating cookies...
No one can replace who she was because she was a one of a kind gem I had the honor to meet and be able to be friends with. She lit up and was always someone worth looking up to and I strive to be like her. I know she would be proud to see you all bravely be here with us as the third generation.
I know she would love to meet the fellow hunters who came to attend Unity as well. Kailee is my family. Someone important. And I won't forget her." She closed her eyes and smiled as she looked at her bracelet. Taking her seat.
Randy slowly got up and slowly walked his way up as he closed his eyes. "Her name was Annie Adashi LulaSert and she was my little sister. Annie lost her life tragically in the middle of a field from the enemy. I'll be honest. Annie was the sweetest and brightest sister I could ever have and have the honor to know. Have the honor to grow up with. She told me when she was older she was gonna open up a charity where we could help fellow demigods. I admired her.
Annie was my sister and will always be my sister no matter what. I love her so much and it hurts that I couldn't save her. But knowing she's joined the stars and is watching over me is enough to make me smile. She would've loved to be friends with you guys. I promise. So this is in memory of my little sister Annie Adashi LulaSert." He gave a smile as the tears fell and he sat down.
Salvokia surprisingly got up as she stared at her hands. Her ears pinned down sadly as she frowned. "She was my mother... I never thought this would happen but her name was Snow Watcher Parker and she was my mother. A person who took care of me in the realm and helped me through everything. When she fell I realized how lonely my life would be. She took me with her here because I was the only one she found back home.... in The Void. My home is ridden in warfare and I can't go home to my siblings to see if they're okay.
But. My mother told me to not be afraid because my family is warriors. I believe my mother because even when she knew she was dying she never gave up to fight and fought on. I respect her and am in awe with her strength and will to continue going even when we were losing. So... Momma, I love you a lot and thank you for helping us win." She seemed to even smile as her markings shined. She sat down.
Michael stepped up and held a bouquet of pink roses in his hands as he looked at them longingly with pained eyes. "Cean Quon Star was my little sister and the only person who accepted me as a family. We came from a different realm that was much more different. I came from a kingdom called Luckalrios and I was one of the court royals alongside my sister.
She loved this dimension when we came. She was in awe of how different everything was that even I couldn't help but be happy to be here too.
Losing her was the worse thing I could ever experience but because of her, we are here today as well. She's the reason I haven't given up on you or this place yet. Because like her you all will grow to be extraordinary.... Cean... I love you, little sister. Thank you for helping me realize there's more to this world than what meets the eye itself... Pink Phoenix." He sat down.
Mitten stepped up as she smiled through tears. "I can't just honor one person so I'm gonna honor everyone who fell. I want to thank them for making their sacrifice and helping us get to where we are now. The people who fell in the war are honored by us all because without them there would be no us, to begin with, and knowing that we're here because of them. Is amazing. The war they fought with us in and lost their lives to is a war that'll change the world.
The part of the history to mythology itself that even out stories are gonna be told. They fought for the justice we all deserved and you too should respect them for losing their lives for the greater good. People who made our future turn brighter." She smiled as she looked down at the picture in her hands. "Don't let the thousands of lives be forgotten."
"I honor my Aunt and two best friends who lost their lives in the war. Three of Japan's most amazing heroes... Kagatsu Sao Āisho, Repetition. Ares Lezgado and Aresoa Lezgado, Hurrica and Vitzen. They were the people who played an important role in my life when growing up in Japan. My aunt has made me smile more than once and she always knew how to brighten people's day and make kids feel happier and much more valid.
Ares was a man who was and will always be my best friend. He inspired me to become a hero and hopefully join their side alongside my family and friends. Aresoa was someone so bright that even children loved her unconditionally and she loved them unconditionally as well. She was the kindest and loving person I had the honors of being best friends with.
Losing them has impacted Japan and me hard and even my mother. But we stand united to follow the motto of victory over the loss of our country and beliefs!" Mibko smiled for once as he wiped his eyes and sat down.
Libran stood there twirling a flower in their hand as they closed their eyes. "Her name was Eneistia Reaper Cross and she was the only family who accepted and loved me before I met the others. She was someone who cared for me no matter what I did and the person who gave me the reason to keep going on forward and not quitting. She's the reason I stand today and will always and forever be the true reason I stand.
Losing Eneistia impacted me hard with how much she's meant to me and done. My sister worked all over the world helping communities grow and flourish with the beauty of nature.
She will always be my number one hero and I miss her a lot. She was a big part of my life and she made me feel normal. Loved. She was everything we did nothing to deserve. But we had her. Eneistia I love you and miss you so much every day... I won't forget you for staying by my side no matter what." They took their seat.
A was already crying. Only by his tears falling as he shared at the demigods. You could see a visible change in him of something as his eyes grew sharper. "Danny Ruby Listerine Libranty is my big brother and the person who inspired me to become a better person. He is the person I will always remember and good close to my heart. He's the person who took care of me.
The person who showed that they cared for me and the person who would inspire me to grow more than I knew I could.
he's a legend and the person who saved lives and didn't live his life with shame. He lived every day like it was his last day and I know he was always happy. If he had met you I'm sure he'd say you would all become fine warriors and demigods. Sure a bit difficult but surely some fine people. He was the family I had when I needed him the most. The person who made me feel okay.
He was my big brother and he made me feel safe. I love you Danny and thank you for absolutely everything." He smiled and bowed before sitting down.
Alyssa had her hands clasped together. Shoulders shaking as the tears fell. "The person who made me feel loved truly... The person I care for. His name was Madison Courtier and he was the person who brightened up my life. He was the person who knew how to make me smile and laugh. The person I could go to. I knew him since childhood before we had gotten claimed. And over the years until last year, I finally remembered him and we changed a lot.
I fell in love. In love with the person who showed me what it was worth to get up every day. He was everything- No more than what I could ever ask for. It was a true blessing to be able to have him in my life. He was funny. Amazing. Sweet. He was so many things that I can't even say. Madison was a person you could go to when you wanted a change. He changed the world of the Romans themselves and he was the best god damn fucking thing ever.
With him, I never felt as alone. But since he's been gone I live with the largest void in my heart. Losing my entire family but aunt was painful but to also lose him and not know if he's dead or not hurts me the most. I never got to tell him goodbye or I love you for the final time." She sniffed as she wiped her eyes. "He was the guy I fell in love with. I loved him. I still love him so fucking much even now. If he was here. I'd tell him. I love you." She smiled as her chest tightened. She missed him so fucking much. She lowered her head and wiped her eyes once again.
The gods may come if they want but it's preferred if they don't for reasons. Please be respectful and remember these people were the ones who fought for you. You may make individual chains. But remember. Today is a day of memory. Be respectful. thanks.
