The God Ceremory

3rd Person's P.O.V

It was her big day! Her 6th birthday. She was so excited. She was bouncing up and down with joy. "Mamá, mamá! ¡Es el día! ¡Estoy obteniendo mis verdaderos poderes!" The young one wasn't the best at English sometimes. So she used Latin or Spanish to communicate. "Yes, dear... it's your time." Her mother smiled.

The young wolf was beaming with joy. Today she'd be a TRUE goddess. She ran to her brother who was playing with some toys on the couch and picked him up, spinning him around. "I'm getting my powers!~" She giggled and placed him back down. He just looked confused. "Ok..?" He looked at her strangely before going back to playing.

She patted him on the head and rushed towards the door. She did manage to trip and faceplant into the wall, but she brushed it off and immediately slipped down to the floor and struggled to put her shoes on since she was rushing. Her tongue poking out the corner of her mouth as she tried to inch her foot in the shoe, her mother crouched down and helped her push her feet into her shoes and tie her laces before helping her daughter up.

"Gracias, mamá!!" She had a LITTLE bit of a Spanish accent, something she picked up from her mother. The wolf cub dashed outside in excitement, her mother closing the door and chasing after her daughter, placing a hand on her head. "Ay, slow down." Her mother usually spoke in English to her, to help her learn it more. The cub sighed, "Ay, mamá. I will." She giggled and grabbed her mother's hand, dragging her along to T.U.G headquarters.

It was by tradition, where gods and goddesses gathered to complete the ceremony of a young one gaining their abilities. What they are the god or goddess of, essentially. Today was a young pup's special day. Her 6th birthday. The day of the ceremony.

The day of her ceremony.

She's been counting down the days since she turned 5. She snuck out every night to map out the quickest route to get to the agency as well. She didn't want to be late at all.

--

"Everyone, she's coming!" Called out a blonde-furred fox with white glasses. She was 17 and one of the field agents at T.U.G. Actually, she was the top field agent. And in a year, she was going to be the boss. No more missions, no more fighting... She was going to miss it. But she worked hard for this. Better pay, easy paperwork, possiblyhelpingoutinbattleeveryonceinawhile- it's perfect!

The fox called out those words to everyone once the young wolf arrived. The cub was so excited, you could basically feel her joy beaming off of her. Her mother held her hand tightly so she couldn't run off. There were 5 council members waiting for her, one with a candle. He stood in the middle.

In the middle was the Elemental of Light, Sunny, who always held the candle at the ceremony. To his left was the God of Acid, Daniel, and the Elemental of Darkness, Nox. To his right was the Goddess of Lightning, Kitty, and the Elemental of Earth, Terra.

Another thing is that these ceremonies were usually private. Exclusive to the coming god's family, the council, and the top bosses at T.U.G. At the ceremony, there were 11 people in total, including the coming god and her mother.

The Elemental of Light gave a sweet smile and a slight nod to the young cub's mother and she let go of her daughter's hand. The girl hesitantly went up to the candle, her nerves kicking in. She was about to touch it, when- "Young cub, remove your gloves." She gave a nod and crouched down, placing her gloves on the floor and then standing up straight once again. "...May I?" Sunny gave a light nod and the coming god touched it.

...Should I tell him that I hate being called that? ...Eh. Doesn't matter. She thought to herself after touching the candle. The candle glowed extremely brightly... before going out. The council's eyes widened and they exchanged quiet whispers. The T.U.G agents were shaking their heads, but the fox, soon to be boss, looked at the mother of the child with sympathy. The mother looked very disappointed.

As for the wolf cub, she held her hands to her chest and her ears lowered nervously. Suddenly, the Light Elemental cleared his throat. "I... I have never seen this before... young one, I don't think you have-" Suddenly, the candle re-lit and glowed brightly once again. A beam emitted from a symbol on the candle and shot into the young cub's chest. It didn't hurt her, but she was shocked.

Soon, the light disappeared... and the cub's eyes glowed a violet purple. "...What..?" She whispered to herself as her eyes reverted back to an emerald green shade. The Light Elemental was astonished. "...Remarkable." The Earth Elemental spoke up, "Do we need the blade..?" The Light Elemental nodded and the Earth Elemental ran off and returned with a blade, handing it to the Light Elemental.

The cub's eyes widened when the Light Elemental grabbed her left hand. She tried to pull away, but couldn't. The Light Elemental slit her hand and she pulled away immediately, screaming. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT FOR?!" She screamed, taking aback everyone. Her eyes then glowed red as she growled at the Light Elemental. He crouched to her height, speaking in a gentle tone, "I apologize, little one... it was only to-" "I don't WANT your damn 'sorry's!" Everyone gasped at her defiance.

The Light Elemental remained calm. "...Let the blood touch your other hand. It'll create a symbol, and-" She growled at him... and hesitated... before folding her hands together. She made a silent prayer before taking her hands apart. Suddenly, there was a burning sensation in her right hand. She screamed in agony, not allowing herself to cry in front of such high authority.

She, in pain, licked the blood off her left hand, leaving some blood on her face, wiping the excess on her skirt. Her hand burned a peculiar symbol. When the Light Elemental reached out to look, she bit him. Her mother gasped and ran to her daughter, pulling her away. "An-!" She pulled her away from the Light Elemental protectively. "Don't CALL me that! I HATE that name! And- And I hate YOU!" Her daughter said, pulling away from her and glaring up at her mother, her eyes glowing brighter.

The Elemental of Light went to the young cub and gently tried to grab her hand. She pulled her arm back, making him stumble. He wasn't prepared for her strength. The 3 T.U.G generals went over and held the girl still as she yelled. The Elemental of Light's eyes widened at the symbol that burned into her hand.

"She... she's the goddess of wishes." Everyone gasped. "Wishes..? If wishes were real, then why didn't my wish for a father come TRUE?!" She snapped, escaping their grips, running towards the exit. She breathed heavily. The Elemental of Light grabbed the girl's gloves from the ground and approached her.

Her eyes widened in horror as she saw blood on the Light Elemental's arm, her eyes reverting back to normal. "Oh... my... chaos..." She whispered to herself. The Light Elemental smiled sweetly and crouched down, gently taking the girl's hands and pecking her palms before putting her gloves back on her. "...I hope that soothes the pain-" "I'm so sorry!!" She hugged him. "Oh-" He chuckled and picked her up, turning around to face everyone. The top T.U.G agent, fox girl, was the only one who hadn't moved.

The Light Elemental smiled, "She's definitely a powerful one... Diane, I suggest you put her on your list IMMEDIATELY." The fox nodded quickly and wrote the girl's name on her clipboard.

"...Angel."
