Fun Fact #1:

The og Moonstar and Saturnflower ship started out as a joke but is now my OTP

Moonstar let her gaze travel over the gathered clan.

"Welcome, all," she said slowly, tail twitching, "to the Official Competition of the Boths."

The roar of cheering cats rose up from below, their cries echoing into the night. A full moon shone above, the wind whipping restlessly through the trees.

"This challenge will not be easy," The leader explained, "it is the ultimate show of courage and strength."

The white and grey she-cat stepped back as five figures took their place in front of the crowd.

Moonstar looked proud as her sight landed on Lambtuft, her daughter. Saturnflower's own eyes glowed with excitement from where she stood among her clanmates.

Next to Lambtuft was grey she-cat with glowing amber eyes named Koigaze, she was young but strong, her fur neat and glossy.

Three more cats stood to their left.  Cedarclaw; a brown tom with occasional tabby markings. Sorrelstep; a peppy ginger-and-white she-cat. And Adderdrift; a dull golden tabby with narrowed eyes.

The leader watched as Solsticefall began to explain the first quest. "You will each be set at a post, one that you must guard. The goal is to keep any cat from reaching your client. Each one of you will be rated on tactic, skill, and overall success."

A few stray cheers were heard from the clan below.

Solsticefall gave the contestants a smile, "Your assignments will be given shortly. You may be dismissed."

And with that a few cats of the crowd rushed forwards to congratulate the five cats. Moonstar watched, seeing Poolskip rub against Sorrelstep, and Pebblethorn share excited words with Koigaze.

Saturnflower walked up to the leader, smiling, "They'll do amazing! I have a feeling this is going to be a great competition."

Moonstar nodded, "I can't wait to see how Lambtuft does!"

As if she heard her name Lambtuft came trotting up to the she-cats, "Mom!" she called, but chuckled when both of the cats perked their ears. "Sorry, Moonstar! Thank you so much for choosing me as a contestant! I promise I won't let you down!"

Her mother nodded encouragingly, "I'm sure you'll do amazing!"

Saturnflower nodded in agreement, brushing her mottled tail along Lambtuft's side, "we're both so proud of you."

Lambtuft's fur bushed out in excitement, "I can't wait to begin!"

"Soon," Moonstar murmmered, "and of I don't see you by then, good luck."
