During the war of liberation, the Royal and Shadow Paladins disbanded after the loss of their Vanguards, Blasters Blade and Dark, the remaining Paladins banded together and formed the Gold Paladins. Being a combination of the Royal and Shadow Paladins, the Gold Paladin's fighting style draws from both these clans, gaining strength from both having and sacrificing called units, giving them much versatility. But units have to be called in a certain way, and if this pattern is thrown off the Golds are helpless. Additionally, being unable to have support units at all puts them in a worse position.
