Chapter 1

GIFL A/N: Because of privacy reasons, me and SinningFlame are using fake names. Sinning is gonna be called "Luke," and I'm gonna be called "Andrew." Again, these AREN'T our real names.

"Hmm..." A teenage male started leaning on the rollable chair behind him. No one was around, making him spend some extra time on homework and online. The computer was shining on him, nearing him from blindness. He quickly started typing away from it. "I'm kinda wondering," he said out loud while clicking away, "why are you up this late, Sinning? It's late here."

Meanwhile, another teen was having an online argument with his friends. He laid his head down on his pillow, still facing his laptop. The teen scrolled through Discord before minimizing the window and seeing the online question. He began to type quickly on his keyboard, thinking out his response. "Well, it's late over here, too. I just usually stay up late and proceed to regret it in the morning."

The teen on the chair laughed softly before looking at the time next to him. It was currently ten o'clock at night, making him yawn. "Well, I'm just glad that I'm taking my third ever roundtrip flight to meet you in real life," the male responded while giving a smile towards the computer. "And there's no promises if I FaceTime you before we meet up."

"Honestly, I kinda hate flights..." The second teen replied, physically sighing at the thought. "Every time someone mentions a flight, I have a slight heart-attack. I've only flown once, though."

"Exactly the reason why I'm doing the flight this time." He started carrying his laptop to the bed while leaving it on. "But you owe me because of that..."

The teen looked at his computer before shrugging to himself. "Fair enough."

A yawn came upon the receiver of that message. He quickly stretched for a few seconds before setting his alarm clock. "Okay, might as well wait for tomorrow," the first boy mumbled to himself. "I think I need to go and get some shuteye... See ya tomorrow, Luke." He quickly turned off the laptop with a hard shut down.

"Later, Andrew." Luke smiled as he closed the application and put on Netflix. "I could really go for some tea right now." He reached over before flipping a lever on a red and black colored alarm clock, setting two times. Luke then proceeded to watch Netflix before passing out a few hours later.

In Andrew's house, the male quickly put on his pajamas before taking a look outside at the starry sky. Two shooting stars flew by, shining for a few seconds. "Well, I get two wishes," the male shrugged before sitting down on the bed. "I wish nothing embarrassing will happen tomorrow; I wish that me and Luke can find one adventure that at least one of us could write about." He quickly tucked himself in and slowly drifted himself to sleep.

Luke slowly opened his eyes, expecting to be met by his alarm piercing through his ears. He unconsciously reached his arm out and tried to hit the snooze button on his alarm, only for him to miss and hit the ground.

"Huh?" He asked, his eyes shooting open. "Where's my alarm? Where's my bed? Where's my computer? Hell... Where's my tea!?" He went to put a hand up to rub his eyes, only to be met by a furry paw touching his face. "That's not right..." He moved the paw back so he could see it clearly, only to scream loudly at the sight.

"Cut the chatter, mom!" Another voice shouted in the near distance. "I'm trying to sleep!" The creature nearby started groggily opening his eyes to notice leaves. "Wait, why am I outside? I didn't sleepwalk again, right?"

"My voice ain't that high..." Luke mumbled, still looking at the sky. "...And I have the same question as you, random guy."

"I guess this is a dream then..." the creature thought to himself. "Okay, so where are we?" He asked while rubbing his eyes with his hands, and only to be met by a yellow paw. "...What the?"

"Well three questions stand." Luke spoke in a determined fashion. "One, who are you? And for you, who am I? Two, why did a paw just touch my face? Three..." Luke tried to stand up on two legs, but stumbled and fell back onto the second creature's stomach. "Okay... Four questions." He gave a deadpan expression as he looked up.

The creature's eyes looked up at the fallen Luke, only to see a Eevee looking at the sky. "...Holy crap, it's an Eevee." He whispered to himself loud enough for him to hear. "And he's... Talking?"

"Run that by me again?" The Eevee looked over to where the voice had been coming from. "A Pikachu?" Luke lowered an eyebrow.

"...Okay, you need to run by me again as well." The Pikachu tilted his head while scooting away from him. The Eevee fell down an inch and was now laying on the grass. "Um... How are you speaking to me, Eevee?"

"Um... Ow?" Luke exclaimed, looking over to the Pikachu. "How are you talking to me, Pikachu? Have I finally gone crazy? And Eevee?"

"Pikachu?" The creature looked down at his paws again. A loud scream came upon him, making him scoot back even more. "What the heck is going on?"

"Hey look over there!" The Eevee sat up and pointed forwards. "A convenient pond! We'll find out what's up at the same time."

"Alright, fine, Eevee..." The Pikachu sighed before standing up. "But we're looking at the same time so I can prove to my mind that I'm not crazy." He tried to run with two feet, but that ended up failing completely. He only took ten steps before he was tired.

"Hey, at least you're still standing, dude." Luke dragged his body in the same direction, struggling to stand. "...I don't even know how to stand, nor what I'm even standing on."

It took ten minutes, but the Pikachu and Eevee finally arrived at the convenient pond. "Okay, before we do this," the yellow creature looked at the pond while not seeing his reflection, "I need you to pinch me first."

"On it." Luke spoke, holding up a paw before reaching over to the Pikachu and pinching his arm.

"Ow!" The creature flinged his arms, trying to wave off the pain. "That was real. Okay, that was definitely real." He took an exasperated sigh. "Want me to do it to you, I guess?"

"...Fine." The Eevee held out his arm, ready to be pinched. "I mean... There's no way I could be a Pokémon..."

"Well see about that...!" The Pikachu moved his arm towards Luke's arm, and pinched them the same pressure the Eevee gave him.

"Ow! Okay, okay!" Luke exclaimed, rubbing his arm. "Not a dream. So who are you anyway?" The Eevee looked up to the Pikachu with an inquisitive expression.

The creature started rubbing his nose while looking down at the pond. Sure enough, a Pikachu was smiling right back at him. "Well, since we're not dreaming... My name's Andrew." He turned back at the Eevee. "Mind me asking who you are?"

"I'm Luke." He answered, giving a smile. "It's weird because I know a guy named Andrew."

"Well, I know a guy named..." Andrew paused himself to think. "Um... Did you meet this 'Andrew' on Wattpad?"

"You know what Wattpad is, too?" The Eevee tried to stand up on his hind legs before falling backwards. "What a... Coincidence?"

"...Oh my God." The Pikachu eyes widened before sitting down quickly. "Y-You were gonna meet him today, were you?"

"Well yeah?" Luke replied, looking up at the sky. "But I don't really know if today is really today, or tomorrow..."

Andrew laughed loudly for a few seconds. "Luke, I'm Andrew. The same Andrew that you made that story with about Johto!" The Pikachu grinned while chuckling loudly.

"Yeah I kinda got that when you asked about Wattpad." The Eevee gave a smile. "Nice to finally meet you, Andrew."

"It's nice to meet you as well. Now begs the question..." He looked around at the forest. "Where exactly are we?"

"No idea... We're just in a forest." Luke's eyebrows lowered. "Maybe we should look around for someone who can tell us how to get out?"

"Alright," Andrew nodded while standing up. "But first, let's figure out how you're gonna walk on four legs."

The Eevee gave a deadpan expression. "...I'm such an idiot. Why didn't I try standing on all fours?" He smacked his forehead before standing up on all fours. "This is surprisingly easy."

"Well that's good." The Pikachu nodded. "I guess that also means that I can run on four paws." He quickly dropped his body to what looked like a push up, and started moving forward quickly. "Okay, this is awesome!"

"Well... I think we'll be just fine." Luke smiled, watching Andrew run. "Once we find a way out of this forest."

"...I'll let you choose the direction we're going," Andrew stood up in the distance. "I guess you could say I'm raring to see this place."

"I am, too. I can't believe I'm an Eevee!" He gave an excited smile. "So... Let's head in that direction over there!" Luke pointed over to the most lush area of the forest confidently.

The Pikachu nodded. "Alright, let's do this!" The two human-turned-Pokémon started heading in that direction Luke was pointing at. "Weird enough, I would rather not find humans here in... Wherever this place is."

"I guess that makes sense..." Luke looked around. "I wonder when we would even get out... What's the use of being a Pokémon when you die in the forest you arrived in."

"Sheesh, you didn't have to be negative about it..." Andrew placed a paw on his chin to think. "Hold on a second." The Pikachu dropped to the floor and ran towards a tree. His paws were able to grip on the bark in the last second, making him start climbing the tree. "You think you can climb trees?" He yelled at him before grunting a few seconds after.

"Yeah I think I can..." Luke held out a paw before short and sharp claws extended from them. "I have claws too? Cool..." The Eevee jumped up and stuck his claws on the tree and began to slowly climb.

"Alright then! We can see how far we are from the exit in this tree." The Pikachu quickly found himself in the highest branch, showing the blue sky without any trees blocking it. Andrew jumped off the bark and sat on the stiff branch. "Woah..."

"What do you see?" Luke asked, his voice making a brief echo as he approached the top slowly. "Do you see that way out?"

"I see a lot more than that." The Pikachu was staring at miles and miles of forest, and every so often the tree got higher and higher than the tree they were in. An orange and green area caught his eye. "Good news and bad news. Good news, there's a dirt pathway about a few miles west of here, and hopefully that leads somewhere."

"Why would you start with the good news...?" The Eevee's eyebrows lowered as his eyes drifted over to Andrew. "...Now you're just gonna bum me out."

"Well I like trying to stay positive first," the Pikachu glanced at Luke before turning back. "The bad news is kinda simple. Can you see those two colors around that area?" He started pointing at the blue and black specks standing right next to the pathway. They weren't moving anywhere.

"Yeah, I was gonna ask you about that..." The Eevee replied with widened eyes. "What are they, anyway?"

Andrew shrugged. "I have no idea. But I think whatever that is, it's guarding the pathway from randoms like us."

"Then let's talk to them." Luke gave a determined smile. "I haven't interacted with anyone since yesterday, I'm gonna go crazy."

"We gotta be smart about it, though." The Pikachu started sliding down the trunk. "Think about it, if waltz in there, they're gonna ask who we are, how we went in there without them noticing, and where we are from..." Andrew arrived in the bottom of the tree, landing in grass. "One mistake, and they're gonna think we're actually from Crazy Town."

"I mean the worst they can do is just kick us out when they know we're not hostile." The Eevee followed behind Andrew. "And who cares who thinks we're crazy?"

"I just don't like being called that, Luke. It frustrates me." The Pikachu sighed before walking in the direction of the pathway. "We still need a plan, though."

"Trust me, I get you on that 'weird' thing." Luke nodded as he walked beside Andrew. "But I don't know how to tell them we got here naturally."

Andrew nodded in agreement. "I know... Let's hope we can get past them."

A female Zoura was laying on the grassy floor, sighing of the emptiness of the area. "I can't believe our first job had to be guarding this pathway," she stated while an echo surrounded here. "There's no one around here!"

"Relax, Zuri." A female Riolu remarked, her paws rested on the grassy ground. "I'm just glad that we actually got a job, despite how... small our team is."

Zuri glanced at the Riolu. "Well, I don't like it Rai. This place looks and is boring." She decided to stare at the sky. "I would rather us explore and go somewhere than sit and do nothing."

"I get it, but we have to work our way up." Rai replied, letting out a sigh. "We can't just start with a dangerous task, we would die. Quickly."

"Alright, suppose this job is for experience." The Zoura stood up to look at the Riolu. "It's not like there's anyone that's gonna pass the Prime Path without permission."

"Well then we get relaxation time and experience." The Riolu answered with a calmed smile. "It sounds like a sweet deal to me."

Meanwhile, Andrew and Luke found themselves looking at the two Pokémon in a nearby bush. "I guess the specks we saw were Pokémon after all," the Pikachu whispered to the other male.

"Yeah..." The Eevee nodded, his tail wagging softly. "...What do we do?"

The two male Pokémon sat down on the small grass. Andrew quickly sighed. "I actually have no idea."

Luke put a paw over where he assumed was his heart and flopped down on his back. "That's not good. There has to be a way." The Eevee's tail unconsciously wagged, pushing the leaves of the bush.

"Hm?" The Zoura noticed some leaves falling down in the distance, making the entire bush rumble. "Rai, I think there's someone here..." She whispered towards the Riolu.

"Yeah, no kidding." She replied quietly, looking at the bush. "Are we being stalked or something?" Somehow, the Pikachu's ears twitched before hearing the words both females made.

Andrew looked down to notice the Eevee's tail wagging. "Dude your tail, we're gonna get caught!"

"Huh?" Luke looked down to his tail. "Why is that happening?" The Eevee put his paws over his still wagging tail. "Why won't it stop...?"

The Pikachu realized wind was coming towards him, and suddenly realized his own tail was wagging faster than the Eevee's. "Aw, crap. I think this is caused by emotions."

"Which ones? Because I know I'm not scared or anxious." Luke asked, now sitting on top of his tail.

"I-I don't know!" Andrew whispered. "I've never felt this way that a body part is shak—." Suddenly the bush was pushed open, revealing the female Riolu and Zoura staring at them. "Um... Hi there." He quickly sat on his tail, trying to stop the wagging.

"See I know this looks bad, but I can assure you that we don't know where exactly we are." The Eevee spoke, his tail sticking up beginning to wag again. "Now, yes. We're sitting in the bushes like creeps, and there's really no way to justify it in a way you would believe, but..."

"Okay, that was a bit too much there," the Pikachu cut him off. "...To put it simply, we're sorry for you thinking we're stalkers."

The Zoura took a step back before smiling. "Alright, our first job completion!" She cheered while jumping in the air. "What should we do with these two?"

"No clue." Rai replied, looking between the Pikachu and Eevee. "...But the Eevee's acting a little strange." The Riolu bent down to look at Luke, who was staring at Zuri with a wondering expression.

Andrew placed a paw on the back of his neck. "Um, do you mind telling us where we are? We got lost earlier this morning."

"This is the Prime Path," Zuri responded kindly, her tiny feet stampering along the grass. "We're just nearby Wennel City, and no one's supposed to cross this point. That's why we're here."

"Wennel what?" Luke asked, snapping out of his brief trance. "Is that what that is in the distance?"

"Thanks for taking my question." The male Pikachu sighed before looking back at the two females. "Um... What are you gonna do with us?"

"Well, we could take them to the station. Let them figure out why they're here," the Zoura whispered to Rai's ear.

"That's probably the only thing we could do." Rai replied quietly, "And besides, we don't know where they came from, who they are, and why the heck the Eevee's staring at you."

Andrew's ears twitch again, making him cover Luke's eyes. "Your staring isn't helping," he whispered into the Eevee's ear.

"Huh?" Luke's ears and tail shot up. "I wasn't staring. I don't know what you're talking about. Not at all." He laughed nervously.

The male Pikachu rolled his eyes while sighing. "Well, let's just hope nothing bad is going to happen to us."
