After the match is over;

Once Aaron arrived in his room, he just put his bag on the floor before lying down on his bed when he received a FaceTime request from Alex.

Few days later,

Aaron and the rest of the Manchester United players are training as usual as they will face Astana at away ground.

"What formation do you think Ole will use this time?" asked Pirlo as he, Aaron and Chris walked home from training.

"Well, it's 4-4-2 diamond and 4-3-1-2 against Partizan and 4-3-3 in our match against Norwich last Saturday. So, I don't know" replied Chris.

"He keeps changing tactical nowadays. I wonder what is in his mind" said Aaron.

"That's true. So, Aaron. It seems that USA didn't call you up for the final 2 matches in the group stage of CONCACAF Nations League" said Pirlo.

"Well, to be honest, I don't mind at all. It just a Nations League though" replied Aaron.

"Yeah. A league to exhaust players. That's why most players had a performance drop last season" said Chris.

"Maybe for your Nations League. But in CONCACAF, not really. Because the performance never really improve" replied Aaron.

"That's why you're here, huh" said Pirlo.

"Yes. Even my sister said that I improve a lot since came here" replied Aaron.

"Good to see you and Alex are good now. You're like having extra tonic now" said Chris. Aaron just chuckled.

Few days later;

All players are getting ready on the pitch. Then, the match begins with Astana kicked off the match.

"Why Ole not using Aaron, Beckham and Pirlo?" asked Mal.

"Yeah. Kinda weird seeing those 3 on the bench" replied Lindsey.

"What do you think, Lex?" asked Kelley.

"Based on this line-up, I think it's either Ole looks down on Astana or he might want just to give some other young players to play in the big stage like this" replied Alex.

"I hope it's worthy" said Tobin.

Later at the end of the match;

Astana managed to defeat Manchester United with 2-1 on the scoreline.

"Never expecting this" said Rose.

"Well, most of them are still young though. They still have a long way to go" replied Alex.

"Yeah. We can't expect all of them to be like Aaron, Beckham and Pirlo though. Aaron is a future alien of this sport that used to play together with Ibrahimovich while Beckham and Pirlo are sons of 2 legendary players. These 3 have a bit advantage there" said Kelley.

"All of you talk high about Aaron too much now. Don't you forget that he didn't support our equal pay lawsuit?" asked Rapinoe.

"We do remember it. He's not supporting us because of his pride of playing for the US is too much valuable. Besides, he gave all money that he got while playing for the national team to the charity though" replied Kelley.

"That's true. He never takes any of it even that time, he's studied in UCLA" replied Alex.

"C'mon, Pinoe. This and that is not related" said Tierna.

"That's true" said Lindsey then. Later on, all USWNT players left the stadium.

On the next day;

Aaron and Alex are having breakfast together.

"So, do you know the reason why you, Chris and Pirlo didn't play last night?" asked Alex.

"Of course I do" replied Aaron.

"Mind to tell me?" asked Alex.

"Of course. You see" said Aaron.

Flashback;

One day after training is over, Ole called Aaron, Chris and Pirlo to his office.

"Okay, boys. Listen up. For the match against Astana, you 3 will be benched for the entire match" said Solksjær. All 3 of them were surprised.

"Can we know why?" asked Aaron.

"Well, you 3 have become the pillar of supports for the team since join it last summer. It's just that I didn't want everybody to depend on you too much" replied Solksjær.

"Well, what's wrong with that?" asked Pirlo.

"Imagine if any of you get injured or suspended, can the team win?" asked Solksjær.

"I'm sure we can" replied Chris.

"That's true but your teammates might not think so. They might think that they'll lose if 3 of you did not play. I hope you 3 can understand that" said Solksjær. 3 of them just nodded.

End of Flashback

"So, that's what happened" said Alex.

"Yeah. Besides, taking a break while watching our teammates play is not really a bad thing" replied Aaron.

"Yeah, you're right about that" said Alex.

"Sorry if we wasting your time though after you said that you'll be here to watch me play" replied Aaron.

"That's alright, baby boy. It's our of your control" said Alex. Aaron just nodded.
