Basically the song is about how the people that Evan Hansen (Loki) are dealing with the decision that he made to leave his friends and family and live a new life, which is pretty much what's going on with Loki.

"I found Bruce!" Tony shouted, crossing the room to the others.

The Avengers and Sigyn jumped up and ran over to Tony's computer.

"I think he's here, where it looks like a H.O.P.E. facility is located."

Sigyn grinned.

"That must be where Loki is too!"

Brunnhilde was silent, her eyes drifting elsewhere.

"Is everything okay?" Thor asked, pulling her away from the small crowd.

She shook her head, tears threatening to spill down her cheeks.

"He told me he wouldn't leave. He said that he loved me, and he left. He left his son, his friends, and me."

Her eyes hardened.

"And he's not coming back. I can feel it. I know he's happy over there at H.O.P.E.. No more living on the run, probably another woman to love him, and an entire army at his disposal. Well I hope he's proud of his big decision, because now that it's made, there's no turning back."

Thor sighed.

"I'm sure he's not happy there, and that he would come back to us if he could."

Stark walked over to the two of them.

"You know what, let's find out once and for all what's really going on wherever he is. I'm going to call him, since he had his phone with him when he left. If he doesn't pick up, then we know that he's either in a cell somewhere or being tortured, as much as I hate to think about it. If he does pick up, then there's more of a problem than we thought."

By now, everyone had stopped talking and had crowded around the phone as it began to ring. On the second ring, the phone fell silent, and they heard an unmistakable voice on the other end of it.

"Hello?"

Tony's eyes widened in shock.

"Reindeer Games? Is that you?!"

Silence.

"Yes."

Stark made a "shut up" motion to the group around him and turned his attention back to the phone.

"Can you tell us where you are?"

Once again, there was a beat of silence.

"No."

"Why not? We can't come and rescue you if you don't tell us where you are!"

Loki cleared his throat on the other end before hurriedly whispering something to someone. They whispered something back and he began to speak to Tony again.

"I'm happy here. I am with the love of my life, Katrina, and Dr. Pamela has treated me with immense kindness as I learn to grow my powers. Don't bother coming back for me. Oh, and Bruce is back at the warehouse. Your technology has been tampered with, though I can't say who did it."

The second the words left his mouth, Loki hung up the phone, leaving the Avengers and Sigyn in a stunned silence.

"Traitor." Brunnhilde seethed before stalking off.

No one knew what to do.

For the first time in a while, the Avengers felt completely and utterly helpless.

"Will you please just take your pills?!" Kat asked, shoving the bottle in Loki's face.

He nodded and took a few of the yellow pills out of the bottle before swallowing them.

"Sorry. I needed to know what I was talking about in order to seem like myself when talking to...oh I already forget his name. These pills are magical."

Kat couldn't help but chuckle as he spoke. He really was quite the humorous trickster.

"I was thinking that maybe we could go outside after this and do a bit of light mountain climbing. You can always teleport us back if the weather gets too bad."

Loki agreed before taking her hand and leading her outside. They grabbed some gear along with a couple winter coats and began trekking up the icy mountain in front of them. About half of the way up, when the weather had began to get colder, Loki noticed that Kat was staring.

"Is that part of your abilities?" She asked.

Loki didn't know what she was talking about until he looked down at his arm and saw that it had turned blue. He traced the raised bumps on it and identified them as runes. The pills suddenly didn't seem that effective anymore.

"Jotun." He whispered to himself.

Kat raised an eyebrow.

"Come again?"

The god of mischief stopped climbing as a flood of memories came back to him.

He'd left the Avengers facility after Dr. Pamela threatened the safety of the people of Manhattan.

He ended up at Reese's base, trying to remain defiant.

He met Katrina, who convinced him to take the pills.

He watched Katrina take similar pills.

He openly mocked his former allies.

He called Kat the love of his life in front of Brunnhilde.

"I have to get out of here." He exclaimed, taking off down the mountain.

"What?! What are you talking about, Loki?! Wait up!" Kat yelled, following close behind.

She caught up with him back at the facility, where he hurriedly removed his climbing gear and ran inside, his jotun form disappearing.

I failed the first trial! He thought to himself as Kat approached him.

He grabbed her arm and made her look him in the eye.

"The pills don't just take away our pain! They make us easily compliant! We have to get out of here before Reese takes over our minds!" He yelled, trying to force her to understand.

"Loki, what are you talking about?" She asked nervously.

His eyes were crazed as he put a hand on each of her shoulders and shook her back and forth.

"H.O.P.E. is what we have to fear! We have to stop them and kill Reese!"

She pulled out of his arms and glared at him.

"You know, I was really hoping that you'd finally come to your senses, but now I'm going to have to make a decision for the greater good. Sorry, Loki."

Loki looked at her in confusion before she delivered a blow to the side of his head, knocking him unconscious.

She picked his limp body up off of the floor and began to drag him away.

"Someday we will finally be able to be together. Then you'll understand that I do this all for you."
