After running several successful rounds as a book club, I have decided to revise these rules. Please be sure to read through them carefully before you apply to join us.

1. Add this book to your library or reading list to receive updates.

2. Follow this account and also consider following other authors in the club (this is optional). It will help us all keep in touch. I am hoping to get a lovely little reading community out of this :)

3. Your novel must have a central theme that is imaginative (science-fiction, adventure, fantasy, paranormal, horror... anything so long as there is a core element of unreality running through the entire novel)

4. We are here to read and help each other. Try to be constructive and positive. It is OK if you don't enjoy or like something, but if that is the case please tell the author why. 

5. We are all people as well as authors, we understand that delays happen. If you are going to have trouble getting your critique in by the end of the reading period, please just let the other author and myself (@LivEvansWrites) know. This is just so that we can ensure everyone is keeping up with their end of the partnership.

6. If you fail to complete one round of this book club without notice, you will be granted an opportunity to complete it within the next round. If you are still having trouble, you will need to make up for any missed/late rounds before you are allowed to move on.

7. Add #UniteBC to your novel tag so it is easy for others to find.

8. The password for the form is the name of the character you most enjoy writing for in your novel, and a sentence explaining why.

9. If you have successfully completed four rounds of the book club, you may apply to enter a second novel into the critique rounds. You will have three options:           

         A. Allow your Critique Buddy to pick which of your novels they will read

         B. Opt to have two Critique buddies for the period, and each one will read a different novel. You will still be expected to perform critique for both of these buddies (to make it fair).
