(The reporter is seen typing at his laptop as he narrates for the last time.)

Reporter: Truth be told, I'm lucky to be still alive.

(The scenes of the volcano, his interview with Heihachi and Ironwood, Kazuya transforming into his devil form as he prepared to face Akuma.)

Reporter: No normal person could understand the reality of everything I've seen...

(It then cuts back to the reporter.)

Reporter: The truth of it all... Our world was dragged not into a war between heroes and villains, but between humans and devils. I'm just one person, but it's my job as a reporter to get the truth out, which is exactly why Iam writing this piece now.

(The scene then cuts to a rainy night.)

Reporter: One day, the fighting will end. I just hope that when it does, the world will be at peace.

(The last scene of the reporter shows the picture of his family as he goes to the lampenschirm, and turns it off.)

(At Union City, Lars Alexanderson is seen in the top of a building along with Batman as they are overlooking the destroyed city as it became part of G-Corporation's war, and then Lee Chaolan comes in.)

Lee: Looks like G-Corporation has no intention of ending the war.

Batman: And neither does half of Union Academy.

(Alisa then comes in along with Green Lantern (Jessica Cruz).)

Alisa: Various regions are facing invasion. Things don't look good.

Jessica: This is what the world's like without Heihachi Mishima.

????: No.

(Enterprise comes in as the scene cuts the view of the building they are all currently on top of.)

Enterprise: The world was always like this. Before Union, before Heihachi, before all of this.

(The scene cuts back to the heroes.)

Enterprise: The truth is... War never changes. It's exactly the same. No matter which era it happens upon.

(Lars is seen standing still without turning around.)

Lars: But we all agree this is all Jin Kazama's fault. He was the one who sent this world to hell. (notices Jin's presence) So now it's up to him to bring it back.

(They then turn around and stand in front of Jin Kazama.)

Lars: There's no one else.

(Jin then comes out of the shadows.)

Jin: Yeah. It's all on me. The devil's blood runs through my veins. (clenches his left fist) So it's up to me to kill Kazuya.

(Jin's devil mark appears in his forehead as the screen goes black.)
