(The Reporter is seen in a building belonging to Violet Systems as Lee Chaolan speaks up.)

Lee: I believe the real reason the Mishima family banished me was because they suspected I knew about the devil within Kazuya!

(Lee then faces back at the reporter with a smile.)

Reporter: I could tell by the look in his eyes he was telling the truth

(The scene cuts to Kyoto as he is following a Pro Hero named Nighteye.)

Reporter: A few days later, I headed to Kyoto. The old guy I'd contacted was already waiting for me at the run-down house we'd arranged to meet.

Nighteye: I'd like to know more about the mystery of the Hachijo household's strength.

Reporter: I decided to be straight-up, which seemed to knock the Pro Hero named Nighteye back. I didn't believe in devils-- had no reason to--

(Back to the reporter and Lee.)

Reporter: But Lee had said to me that Kazuya's blood had cursed the Mishimas, even worse than the Three Faction War, the War between Salem and Ozma, and other events which led to the existence of Union Academy.

(The next scene shows a light shining on a book.)

Reporter: The archived account on the Hachijo, who Heihachi's wife Kazumi belonged to. I arranged to meet a guy who'd served the Hachijo Family years ago. If Kazuya had inherited Kazumi's blood, then maybe this guys could help me.

(Back to Kyoto, the reporter is seen inside a house, where Nighteye didn't find anything about the matter despite his best efforts.)

Reporter: But my efforts were in vain. Nighteye could find nothing. Then, when I thanked him, and we left through separate ways...

????: Begone Devil, begone Devil!

Reporter: Praying in a crimson river, in the mouth of which he lies, (keeps listening to the song) how long will the playing go on?

(Then a crimson river is shown as a drop of water somehow falls upon it.)

Reporter: The song was slow... it was a traditional nursery rhyme in the Hachijo family. When I heard it, I froze. What if the demon represented a mysterious power, "red" referred to blood, and the river symbolized a bloodline...? As whoever sang this song hummed on, I shook my head in horror.

(At Mishima Shrine, Heihachi is seen meditating in front of the statue that holds a sword and a rope as he is surrounded by candles. Suddenly someone bursts the door open, and a strong wind blows and puts the lights out. Heihachi noticed a familiar presence. It's none other than Akuma: The Master of the fists.)

Heihachi: Who the hell are you?

Akuma: Someone whose fists know no equal.

(Akuma gets on his fighting stance as his eyes glow.)

Heihachi: (gets up) Hah! It seems we can drop the formalities.

(Heihachi gets in his fighting stance as well as a lightning emerges from his body.)

Akuma: This too is destiny.

(They charge at each other as Akuma grabs Heihachi and elbows his back. Heihachi then dodges Akuma's next attack, and then he punches him in the gut before being thrown to the wall as Akuma punches him, but Heihachi reacts and throws him aside before hitting him and headbutting him. Akuma then gets up and punches Heihachi in the face before sending him sprawling with his Tatsumaki Zankukyaku. He then charges up as Heihachi gets shocked.)

Heihachi: What...?

(Akuma then launches his Messatsu Gou Hadou at Heihachi, who barely dodges it, and then the real fight starts. Akuma is initially at advantage as he kicks Heihachi.)

Akuma: Still weak.

(They keep fighting as Heihachi blocks some of Akuma's attacks, and gains the upper hand.)

Heihachi: Is that it?

(They resume their fight until Akuma uses his Messatsu Gou Hadou again.)

Akuma: MESSATSU GOU HADOU!

(As he launches it at Heihachi, knocking him down, the latter gets up as he remembers what Claudio said to him back then.)

Claudio: We received intel that something... "inhuman" had been witnessed in the Far East.

(He then realizes who was said "inhuman".)

Heihachi: It was you...

(Suddenly an army of Jack-6 Units comes in and surround both Heihachi and Akuma.)

Heihachi: Jack-6... you're with G-Corp and the League of Darkness?

Akuma: What is this?

(Jack-6's left eye glows, and then the scene cuts to G-Corporation as they see Akuma.)

Kazuya: Who the hell is that?

Salem: Wait, you don't know who he is?

(Re-Destro, the leader of the Meta Liberation Army is seen typing on a computer as he turns to the leaders.)

Re-Destro: He's not registered in our database.

A.F.O.: It's Akuma...

Curious: Who?

Belphegor: Akuma, the master of fists. He had killed several heroes and villains, just because they were unlucky to stand in his way.

(Kazuya then turns to the screen, watching Akuma in curiousity, and then the scene cuts back to Akuma and Heihachi surrounded by the Jack-6 Units. Both of them easily defeat the Jack-6 Units one by one, and then Heihachi defeats five of them with extreme ease before turning to Akuma.)

Heihachi: I must say, you impress me. Tell me your name.

Akuma: (turns around) I am Akuma, and I have come to kill you and Kazuya in behalf of Kazumi.

(A flashback shows Kazumi Hachijo sending her message to Akuma.)

Kazumi: Kill him for me... and also... Kazuya...

Akuma: (over voice) All of this is for her...

(Flashback Ends.)

Heihachi: (shocked) What? Kazumi?

(Kazuya and the members of the League of Darkness get shocked as well.)

Trumpet: Kazumi?

Skeptic: Wasn't she... (looks at Kazuya) his mother?

(Back to Heihachi, he is seen with a mark in his chest, courtesy of Akuma.)

Heihachi: You're saying that Kazumi told you to kill me and Kazuya...? Nonsense, if that were true, why only appear now?

Akuma: I was merely waiting for you to become stronger. Right here, right now, I will fulfill my promise to Kazumi.

(The second round starts, and just like in the first one, Akuma starts with the advantage.)

Akuma: The weak invite destruction!

(Akuma continues relentlessly fighting Heihachi as the shrine is set ablaze. But the latter gets up and refuses to admit defeat.)

Heihachi: Let's settle this.

Akuma: Welcome to your doom!

(They charge at each other, and their punches collide as both of them are sent sprawling, but they get up and charge at each other, and Heihachi gains the upper hand.)

Heihachi: Not good enough!

(They fight evenly matched as none of them is at advantage until Akuma launches his Messatsu Gou Hadou at Heihachi, who is still determined to fight.)

Heihachi: It all ends now.

(Heihachi is about to attack, but Akuma is able to counter.)

Akuma: Prepare yourself! (grabs Heihachi) Die 1.000 deaths!

(Akuma then performs his classic Shun Goku Satsu, defeating Heihachi, who struggles to get up.)

Akuma: Hell awaits you!

(Akuma and Heihachi charge at each other as the screen goes black.)

(Moments later, Akuma is seen standing at the destroyed Mishima Shrine.)

Akuma: (walks away) You disappoint me.

(As the screen zooms out, the G-Corp's computer is seen as Tomura's voice is heard.)

Tomura: An explosion has been confirmed at the Mishima Dojo! We've lost sight of Heihachi Mishima!

Kazuya: My mother... was trying to kill me and Heihachi...? (laughs maniacally) How absurd! (regains his composure) But who is this guy? And what kind of power does he wield...?

(As the screen goes black, some characters of Street Fighter and some characters from Tekken charge at each other.)
