(The Reporter is seen at the Rebellion's current hideout (one of the several Violet Systems building) along with several members, including Lee, Alisa, Lars and Chisato.)

Reporter: Lars Alexandersson was younger than I expected. When Lee described him to me, of how he'd escaped, divided both Tekken Force and Union Academy, besides besides forming a rebel army, I imagined someone completely different.

(Then Lars is shown talking with Lee.)

Reporter: His eyes told a story of sadness hidden deep within. In the sterile air of Violet Systems, where he and le holed up together, Lars explained to me that he was Heihachi's illegitimate child.

(Then a picture of Heihachi is shown.)

Reporter: Heihachi had fathered him to cast aside all doubt that he had the Devil Gene in his blood. Lars existed solely for that purpose. I could barely contain my excitement at not only meeting a blood-relative but also at learning his revelation.

(Then the reporter is seen overhearing Lars and Lee talking.)

Reporter: While Lars and Lee conversed, i overheard something... that shocked me. Jin Kazama has been found. Jin Kazama... Kazuya's son and Heihachi's grandson... The hatred I had held deep inside surged through my veins like a tidal wave.

(The Reporter remembers what happened to his homeland.)

Reporter: Jin had put the wheels in motion that led me to losing everything.

(Back to Lars conversating with Lee.)

Reporter: Then, as if finally putting his feelings into words, Lars muttered.

Lars: To end this war, we have to put everything on Jin.

Reporter: There's no mistaking what he had said.

(At the Mishima Dojo, during night, the Jack-4 Units that had been defeated by both Heihachi and Akuma are still seen scattered across the temple as the wind blows.)

(Several miles away from the Mishima Dojo, it's raining as Heihachi's voice is heard.)

Heihachi: No matter how hard I try, I simply cannot fathom it...

(Then a flashback of Akuma is shown.)

Akuma: Right here, right now, I will fulfill my promise to Kazumi.

(As their fight is remembered, the scene cuts back to present.)

Heihachi: Akuma... How could he know Kazumi...?

(Then he emerges from his supposed grave as the screen goes black.)

(Some moments later, back to Mishima Zaibatsu, Heihachi and the Union Headmasters are seen as both Tekken Soldiers and Atlas Soldiers approach him.)

Tekken Soldier: We are currently in pursuit of Akuma.

Heihachi: He said he was going to kill me and Kazuya, which means he will head to Kazuya next.

Ironwood: In one hand, this could be favorable to us... in other hand... (turns to his soldiers) What happened to Jin?

Atlas Soldier: Both of our entire units have been wiped out, General.

Heihachi: Wiped out?

Ironwood: (sighs) Why am I not surprised?

Heihachi: Ha! Because Jin's more slippery than we thought. (walks up to his chair) Akuma entered the scene, and is now baying for Kazuya's blood. (sits down and crosses arms) Jin is missing... you're right about one thing, General. We can use this to our advantage. (stands up) Tell the world that I have died. The tournament is off.

(The Tekken Soldiers salute, and so do the Atlas Soldiers.)

(Meanwhile at G-Corporation's building, Akuma is seen approaching the building as he prepares to hunt down Kazuya as the chapter ends.)
