Chapter 40: Big, Party, and Hangover...

As the day unfolded, the beach became a playground for the combined teams. Anthony and David took charge of the grill, expertly flipping burgers and grilling hot dogs, their culinary skills almost as honed as their military ones. The scent of barbecue filled the air, mingling with the salty sea breeze, drawing smiles and hungry glances from everyone.

Yang and Nora, both thrill-seekers, were the first to hit the jet skis, their laughter echoing over the waves as they raced each other across the sparkling waters. Yang's competitive spirit was matched only by Nora's sheer joy, creating a spectacle that had everyone else cheering and shouting playful bets from the shore.

Ruby and Weiss, along with Blake and Velvet, opted for a more relaxing approach, stretching out on beach towels under the large umbrellas. They chatted about everything from team strategies to the latest books they were reading, though every so often, their conversation was punctuated by Ruby's excited observations of seashells and tide pools.

Pyrrha and Jaune, meanwhile, tried their hands at surfing, with Pyrrha naturally excelling and Jaune... well, doing his best. Ren quietly offered pointers from the shore, his calm demeanor a stark contrast to Jaune's flailing attempts to stay upright. However, with each wipeout, Jaune's determination only grew, fueled by Pyrrha's encouraging smiles and Ren's patient instructions.

Clover and Elm engaged in a fierce volleyball match against Coco and Fox, the sand flying as they dove and jumped for each volley. Harriet, acting as referee, couldn't help but throw in her own commentary, teasing both sides equally and laughing at their mock outrage over her calls.

Cinder, still a bit of an outsider but trying to blend in, joined Winter and the Ace-Ops for a quieter activity—building a massive sandcastle. Under Winter's precise directions, they crafted an impressive fortress complete with towers and moats. Cinder found herself surprisingly engaged, the task allowing her a moment of peace and a chance to contribute to the group's enjoyment.

As the afternoon turned into evening, the beach party showed no signs of slowing down. The sunset painted the sky in brilliant hues of orange and pink, providing a stunning backdrop to their ongoing festivities.

"ANT!! CHRIS!!" A voiced shouting the two brothers' names as they turned towards the voice to see a Nigerian-Senegalese woman with Black long dreadlocks, 228.6 cm (7'6") tall, Muscular Body, Large Busts, Dark Brown colored Eyes, one-piece swimsuit, a few scars on her face, wide hips, and 12-pack abs sprinting towards the two for a hug.

Only for the two to run away in absolute fear. "NOPE!!" Both yelled as they hurriedly ran like a they were getting chased by a hungry polar bear on a dirt bike.

The group saw this and laughed a little then jaw dropped as they saw the full height of the African woman fly past them.

Weiss being the shortest felt like an ant to the giant woman.

Jie and Cinder felt a pin of jealousy towards the unknown woman chasing their men.

"C'MON!! YOU KNOW I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU TWO IN A DECADE!!" The woman shouted out closing behind the two.

The spectacle of Anthony and Chris fleeing from the towering woman turned the beach into a scene of uproarious laughter. The group watched in disbelief as the woman, with strides that easily matched three of anyone else's, gained on the two brothers. Her voice boomed across the beach, a mix of enthusiasm and playful menace that only added to the comedic chase.

"Who is that?!" Yang shouted between laughs, clutching her stomach as she watched the chase unfold.

"That's what I want to know!" Felix managed to say through his own laughter.

The woman, unstoppable in her pursuit, finally caught up to Anthony and Chris at the edge of the water. With a surprisingly gentle maneuver despite her size, she scooped both brothers up, one in each arm, as if they were no heavier than beach balls.

"Gotcha!" She boomed, spinning around, causing Anthony and Chris to yelp in surprise and mock terror. The beach erupted in further laughter and cheers at the sight.

"Put us down, Iyawa! We're not kids anymore!" Chris protested, though he was laughing, his face red from the combination of exertion and embarrassment.

"Iyawa?" Mari said loud enough between a laugh.

Said woman turn towards the large group carrying the men like they weigh nothing, "Yea. My name is Iyawa Sane. I'm these two 3rd cousin." She said.

Jie and Cinder sighed in relief knowing that the woman is family.

"I'm also Ex-Special Forces in the military." She said making everyone freeze. Ex-Special Forces?

The revelation that Iyawa was ex-Special Forces sent a ripple of impressed murmurs through the crowd. Her imposing stature and evident strength already hinted at a background in some form of intense physical training, but knowing she had military experience put her athletic antics in chasing down Anthony and Chris into perspective.

"Ex-Special Forces? That's incredible!" Coco exclaimed, her eyes wide as she looked up at Iyawa, who still held the Towson brothers effortlessly under each arm.

"Yeah, I served with the Nigerian and Senegalese Special Forces units before moving to a private sector role. But I missed these knuckleheads," Iyawa chuckled, setting Anthony and Chris down but keeping a firm, affectionate grip on their shoulders.

Anthony rubbed his arm where Iyawa had gripped him, trying to play it cool despite the obvious power difference. "Yeah, she's the only person I admit can outrun and outlift me any day."

Chris nodded vigorously in agreement. "She used to train with us when we were kids. It was brutal but fun."

The group's interest was piqued, and they gathered around Iyawa, eager to hear more about her experiences. The former Special Forces giant was more than happy to share, her voice booming but warm as she recounted various non-classified escapades and missions.

Meanwhile, Winter, ever the strategist, saw a potential learning opportunity. "Iyawa, would you mind giving us some pointers? Your training regimen must be something else!"

Iyawa's face lit up at the request. "Of course! I'd love to show you some techniques and exercises. Special Forces training is all about efficiency and endurance. Let's start tomorrow morning; how about a sunrise workout on the beach?"

The prospect of a military-grade workout session was met with mixed reactions. Nora was immediately enthusiastic, jumping at the chance to improve her strength. Ren, always supportive, agreed with a calm nod. Others, like Yang and Pyrrha, were pumped about the challenge, while some like Jaune and Neptune hesitated but ultimately agreed, not wanting to miss out on the opportunity.

As the sun set and the sky turned to a tapestry of vibrant colors, the group enjoyed their barbecue and shared stories, their laughter mingling with the sounds of the waves. Iyawa's presence added a new layer of camaraderie to the group. Her stories from the field, coupled with her jovial nature, made her an instant hit among the young Huntsmen and Huntresses.

Later that evening, as they all sat around a bonfire, Anthony proposed a toast. "To new friends and family reunions," he said, raising his drink. "And to learning from the best."

Glasses clinked, and the group echoed his sentiment, feeling a sense of unity and anticipation for the days ahead. The beach party had turned into an impromptu bonding session, one that would strengthen their ties and leave them with memories and lessons that would last a lifetime.

As the fire crackled and the stars began to pepper the night sky, their laughter and voices filled the air, a testament to the unexpected journeys and the new bonds formed on a day that had started just like any other.

The next three days the group — mainly the marines — decided to have a wild party at the penthouse suite. Winter, Clover, Harriet, Marrow, Elm, and Vine were invited along with Teams RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, and SSSN.

Chris and Cinder stayed in their room for two reasons.

1) Alone time.

2) To be the sober one just in case. And to bring in the hangover drinks and meds for the next morning.

Anthony also knows that the two are going to have sex so he made sure to slip in the strongest birth control pill in her food and drink and gave his brother EXTRA strength condoms.

As much that he loves to be an uncle. He would rather not be the uncle of Cinder's crotch gobiln.

And when the party started, it was already about over a hundred guests and the marines and Atlas soldiers finally tried that one drink...

Floridaman.

The penthouse suite was transformed into a vibrant hub of excitement as the night unfolded. The music pumped through speakers strategically placed around the room, blending with the laughter and chatter of the guests. The atmosphere was electric, everyone in high spirits as they mingled and danced.

The infamous Floridaman drink quickly became the talk of the party. It was a wild concoction, a mix of various types of alcohol, including tequila, rum, and a splash of orange juice, topped off with a small umbrella that seemed ironic given the potency of the drink. The first round was met with a mixture of curiosity and trepidation.

"Alright, who's brave enough?" Anthony called out, holding up a tray of the brightly colored beverages.

"I was born ready!" Yang exclaimed, snatching a glass from the tray and downing it in one go. Her eyes widened as the strong mix hit her, and she let out a whoop. "That's what I'm talking about!"

One by one, others took up the challenge. Nora's eyes sparkled with mischief as she took her drink, her energy seemingly boundless. Ren watched with a mild expression, opting for a much milder drink but cheering on Nora as she enjoyed her adventurous choice.

The brave souls downed their shots of Floridaman. The reactions were instantaneous and varied—from Yang's loud whoop and fist pump to Jaune's coughing fit and Neptune's bewildered expression as he tried to decide if he liked it or not.

"Wow, that kicks harder than a Beowolf!" Yang exclaimed, her cheeks flushed with excitement—or perhaps the alcohol.

"Feels like I just wrestled an Ursa," Jaune managed to say, still recovering.

The effect of Floridaman was quick and potent. Laughter grew louder, conversations more animated, and the dance floor saw even the most reserved attendees letting loose. Winter, typically composed and reserved, found herself laughing more freely, her barriers down as she joined in the festivities.

As the night progressed, the suite's balcony offered a stunning view of Miami's nightlife, the city lights a dazzling backdrop to their high-rise celebrations. People drifted in and out, enjoying the breeze and the quieter space to chat.

The highlight of the evening was when Jaune, emboldened by the Floridaman, decided to showcase his dance moves. While not the most graceful, his enthusiasm was infectious, and soon he had a small crowd around him, cheering and clapping to his rhythmically questionable antics.

Meanwhile, Iyawa, the imposing figure from the beach, proved to be surprisingly light on her feet, her dance moves a stark contrast to her fierce appearance. She pulled several of the guests, including a hesitant Weiss, onto the dance floor, teaching them steps from a traditional Senegalese dance that was both elegant and vibrant.

The party lasted well into the night, the suite filled with joy, music, and a sense of camaraderie that transcended their different backgrounds. Even the stoic Dustin Walker, who made a brief appearance, couldn't help but crack a smile at the sight of his troops and their friends enjoying themselves so thoroughly.

As the night finally wound down, those who had indulged in one too many Floridamans found themselves leaning on each other for support, their laughter continuing as they recounted the night's events. Anthony, true to his word, made sure that hangover cures were plentiful, courtesy of Cinder and Chris, who had wisely stayed sober.

It was a night to remember, a celebration of life, friendship, and the unexpected connections that sometimes formed in the most unlikely of places. And as they finally called it a night, with the first light of dawn creeping over the horizon, they knew these were memories that would last a lifetime, the stories of which would be retold with laughter and smiles for years to come.

The next morning after the partygoers that are not hotel guests left. Anthony, David, Mari, Igor, Shino, Jie, Kang, Felix, Dae, Michael, Winter, Clover, Harriet, Marrow, Elm, and Vine were... everywhere in the penthouse.

Jie and Anthony slept in a soaked bodybag naked that was used as a makeshift cooler.

David and Shino slept in a bathtub.

Igor and Elm slept on a bed, the latter was the big spoon and the former was the little spoon. Elm slept in the nude.

Winter was sleeping on the couch. She's also the most clothed among them. Clothes-wise, she's wearing her white dress shirt. Unbuttoned. But she's wearing her white sports bra. But she's missing her pants and is only wearing her white panties. She also has a massive hangover. Her right arm dangling on the edge of the couch. With her hand on the floor.

Kang was sleeping in the same bed that Igor and Elm were sleeping on. He's laying on his stomach. Wearing nothing but his boxer shorts. His arms are hugging a pillow. And his legs are dangling on the edge of the bed.

Dae was wearing a cone on her head and sleeping in the tub with David and Shino. She's also naked. And she has a hangover.

Mari is also in the same bed that Igor and Elm were sleeping in wearing a t-shirt and boxer shorts. She has a hangover.

Vine was dangling out the balcony with his arms and legs spread wide like an X. He was also the most nude out of everyone there. Wearing only a pair of red speedos. His speedos has a large yellow star in the middle.

Felix was in the same bed that Mari was sleeping in. He's also wearing only a t-shirt and boxer shorts.

Clover was sleeping in the pool. And he was wearing nothing but his birthday suit.

Marrow was sleeping between two women. One is a white-skinned woman with brown hair and blue eyes. Wearing a green dress. And the other one is an African-American woman with brown eyes and brown hair. She was wearing a purple blouse and a skirt.

Michael was somehow in Iyawa's room. And he's wearing nothing but his underwear. He has a hangover. And is drooling.

And Harriet is sleeping on the floor next to him, and she's naked.

Teams RWBY, JNPR, CFVY, and SSSN meanwhile were also in various states of in a random place hungover. But they're not as bad as the troops. Ruby has a slight hangover and is still drinking the hangover cure. Yang, Blake, and Weiss were all wearing clothes that doesn't belong to them. Jaune and Pyrrha were naked and were wrapped in each other's arms. Ren was sleeping with Nora. And Nora was wearing Ren's shirt and boxer shorts. Neptune and Sun were sleeping on a couch.

Velvet is wearing Coco's clothes and is also sleeping in the same bed.

Sage was also naked. And is sleeping in a bathtub.

Scarlet is sleeping in a chair. Naked.

Fox is also naked and was sleeping in a bathtub with Dae.

Yatsuhashi was sleeping in on his bed, fully clothed.

And Coco was sleeping next to a pile of beer bottles and cans. Naked.

But before the group could recover and try to make sense of the previous night, an announcement was made. The voice was familiar to everyone. It was Cinder and Chris waking them up. And bringing in the hangover cure.

"Good morning, my dear family and friends!" Chris yelled. "You got a half-hour before we all gather for breakfast! And don't worry, it's free. But you're paying for the damages." He added. "We have already prepared the hangover cure for you all. Just look for it and drink it. You'll feel better." He said.

"Oh, and just to let you know. You're all naked." Cinder added, laughing. "Enjoy your day, everyone." She finished before turning off the mic.

As the groggy group began to stir, the realization of their various states of undress and disarray hit them like a wave. Groans and mumbles filled the air, mixed with the occasional chuckle from those who found the situation amusing—or at least were too hungover to care.

Anthony, trying to piece together the events of the previous night, sat up in the bodybag, wiping his face with a hand that shook slightly. "What the hell happened last night?" he muttered, looking around at the chaos of the penthouse suite. He noticed Jie stirring next to him, her expression as bewildered as his.

David and Shino, meanwhile, were slowly extricating themselves from the bathtub, their movements sluggish. Shino glanced at David, a faint blush coloring her cheeks. "Please tell me we just decided this was the coolest place to sleep," she whispered.

In the bed with the tangled mess of Igor, Elm, Mari, and Felix, the first to wake was Igor. He blinked slowly, processing the warmth of Elm next to him and the weight of her arm over his torso. "Well, this is new," he said, his voice dry.

Elm, hearing him, opened one eye and surveyed their proximity. "At least we kept it somewhat decent," she muttered, her usual brashness softened by the hangover that pounded at her temples.

Mari groaned from her spot, her head throbbing. "This is the last time I let you guys convince me to try a drink named after a superhero... or whatever that was," she said, referring to the infamous Floridaman cocktail.

On the balcony, Vine was the spectacle for a few early beachgoers. His position, dangling with the sunrise as a backdrop, would have made a perfect, albeit bizarre, postcard from Miami. Inside, Clover was emerging from the pool, water dripping from him as he tried to remember how he ended up there.

Winter, managing to look somewhat dignified despite her attire and the couch's imprint on her cheek, stood and stretched. She glanced around at the others, her lips twitching into a smile. "I suppose this will be one for the books," she said, her voice carrying a mixture of resignation and amusement.

The sound of laughter and playful remarks filled the air as more of the group woke up. Cinder's voice over the announcement had brought a sense of reality back to them, albeit a cheeky and slightly embarrassing one.

By the time Chris and Cinder arrived with the hangover cures—large pitchers of a mysterious but effective concoction—the group was mostly upright, if not fully coherent. They passed the pitchers around, each person taking a grateful swig of the liquid that promised some relief.

"Thanks, Chris. I think," Anthony said, taking a long drink. He glanced at Cinder, his eyes narrowing slightly, but today was not the day for old grudges, not when everyone was in this together.

As they sipped their cures, the reality of the upcoming breakfast and the need to appear in public started to dawn on them. One by one, they retreated to their rooms or bathrooms to shower and change, their movements slow but determined.

The breakfast that followed was a lively affair, with everyone sharing fragmented memories of the night before. Laughter rang out over cups of coffee and plates of food, each new story or recalled embarrassment adding to the tapestry of their shared experience.

Despite the initial shock and confusion, the atmosphere was one of camaraderie and mutual support. They had survived the party, the night, and the Floridaman, and now they could face anything—so long as they did it together.

As they finished their meal, plans were made for a quieter day, perhaps some sightseeing or just relaxing on the beach. After last night, a day of recovery was not just welcome; it was necessary.

The wild night at the penthouse might have been chaotic, but it was also a reminder of their bonds and the memories they would carry with them long after their time in Miami ended. And as they walked out of the hotel to start their day, there was a sense of contentment among them, the kind that only comes after a night of unexpected adventures and the quiet morning after, when the world, just for a moment, seems entirely theirs.
