Offer up an Iceman & the apology part 1.
"Strike 2, no Rogue. And definitely no Cyclops." Logan finished walking towards Hank, who started typing down the names of each of the X-MEN students, showing more info to swipe the screen to show a picture of the teenage girl with brown hair in an X-MEN suit: "Who else have you tracked down?"
"I found Kitty," Hank continues: "She moved in with her parents, but they began harassing her, and she just up and disappeared."
"..." Logan was deeply concerned for Kitty; he took it upon himself to nurture her into strength, treating her as if she were his own sister. His most memorable interaction with her was when he left her and Peter in the Danger Room as a farewell prank from a year ago. "I also found Peter in Russia. I have spoken to him, but he refuses to leave his family again. I had high hopes for Bobby, but his parents refused to let me talk to them. So right now, the X-MEN now consists of just you and me and a stolen MRD helicopter."
Logan placed his hands on top of the table and spoke: "Yeah, well, considering that the Brotherhood has Blob and Toad, I'd say the odds are in our favor." This made Hank smile at Logan's potential as a leader, which did give him some doubts about whether to test his responsibilities or not, but Logan has proven to him that he can do it. Just like Professor Xavier would have done before. "Better recalculate." Out of nowhere, Warren shows up from the shadows in his trenchcoat with a suit and tie, "Rogue's joined them."
Snapping his head around to see him, Logan got shocked and furrowed his eyebrows: "What? Are you sure?" "Positive." Warren admits, "They broke into my house, so she could siphon information from my father." "No, what are they after?" Logan questioned, as Hank turned his chair around to face and get into the conversation, "Senator Kelly's itinerary. They now know everything my father knows..."
Warren shook his head to the left a bit and turned his eyes towards his trusted friends, "They're gonna take down the Senator." Hank hummed with a frown: "How do you want to handle this?" He asked Logan, who crossed his arms over his buffed chest, "We stop'em. But first, we have a little talk with Bobby's parents."
Logan walked away, trouble written all over his face until he was interrogated by one simple question: "Uh, is something wrong with you, Logan?" "Nah, I'm fine. Really."
Warren and Hank raised an eyebrow at him for quite a while.

Hank & Warren gave him the 'Are you sure?' look: "Okay, what is the matter?"
"You were like stiff just now, is there... something I missed?"
"Oh? You didn't see that, did you?" Hank explained, prompting Warren to glare at Logan. "Thanks to Logan, he hurt Sasha's feelings after finding out that she was disowned and being the youngest daughter of Commander Ross," "You have got to be kidding me!" Warren exclaimed in frustration, making Logan and Hank confused at the reaction given to them as the rich blonde shook his head in disbelief, "You need to apologize to her right away!"
"Fine... I need to apologize to Sasha." His words got Hank's full attention, so he turned his chair around to face Logan's frustrated expression and kept on listening to his feelings to motion him to continue, "And...God damn, I couldn't understand why her, Hank! She keeps sending me familiar vibes as if I know her from somewhere..."
Warren couldn't contain his laughter before it escalated, prompting Wolverine to react: "Oh, shoot." "What is it, Bub?" Logan inquired. After clearing his throat and scratching his left cheek nervously, Warren remained silent, leading Logan and Hank to realize that Warren knew something about Sasha that they weren't supposed to know. "Warren? What do you know about Sasha?"
"Listen, it's important to understand that. It's not going to be easy for Sasha to hear what others think as you did, Logan," Warren asserts. "And if you're wondering, it won't be easy to apologize to her, but you need to make an effort to get her to listen to you. Otherwise, she won't help out."
"What's your point?"
"I've known her since freshman year at college."
Logan grumbled and crossed his arms. "Figures, let me guess, college sweethearts?"
Warren blushed a bit as it made Hank hum amusingly at the new information about Sasha's past: "So, you were then?" "A-Actually... she rejected me and wanted us to be friends." "Heh, really? Though the ladies like to be a couple with rich boys like you." Logan teased with a smirk.
Both Warren and the Beast nod in agreement, "True, but she was the first woman to accept me with my wings." "It's no wonder she can put up a slap on your face." Hank chuckled at Logan's comment, making Warren sarcastically laugh:
"Ha ha, but I don't mind it. But don't change the subject, this is about you." he scolded him, making Logan facepalm as he listened to his team: "For one, she Is disowned by her own father, and you believe that I should help you with how you can apologize to her?" Hank expressed his advice a bit clearer with the help of Warren responding: "Maybe it's best if you go to Mrs. Sasha Ross and do it yourself."
"Are you out of ya freaking minds? I can't fix it with an apology!" Logan sighs in anger.
"No, We are not out of our minds, Logan." The blue beast scientist stood up from his chair and placed a hand on him, "It is best to apologize for your rudeness before we lose another friend who is willing to sacrifice their own life to help the X-MEN out, and that means Sasha Ross is the only human who can help us with whatever we need. On the bright side, she knows Warren AND knows her sister working for S.H.I.E.L.D. Which is why I am grateful that Sasha has met you."
Logan immediately slapped Hank's hand away from his shoulder, walks to grab his black leather jacket, and wears it, just as he was about to leave; Hank goes after him to place a hand on his other shoulder. Earning Logan a stern yet understanding look to the Wolverine: "Even in hard times, I have a feeling that in the future she would become a great asset to the team, with or without powers, Logan... Sasha Ross would not betray us as Rogue did."

There was a knock on the door of the townhouse. Logan looked around the neighborhood with uneasiness while he stared at the name of Sasha's address that Hank had located earlier. Hoping it was the right one, he rang the doorbell with no hesitation. But for some reason, the feeling of Deja Vu came straight for the kill.
Before Logan could even feel the memory coming to him, the door opened to reveal Sasha. She was wearing gym leggings and shorts, her hands covered by brown gloves and a sports bra. Her jet-black hair was styled in a sports ponytail with a white towel around her neck. Both of them stared at each other before they coughed out the tension that was building between them.
"Logan?"
"I'm-"
"Sorry, you were not invited to enter after what you said to me this morning." Sasha spat and quickly closed the door, but Logan placed his boot at the edge of the door half closed so she wouldn't lock it, Surprising her before she avoided making eye contact.
However, Logan grumbled and found her eyes glaring daggers at him, as he showed guilt in his blue ones, Sasha's glares softens a bit when she just watched him: "Sasha, let me explain for a second!"
"..."
Logan sighed in annoyance and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Damn it, woman, I haven't even told you what I wanted to say, so just hear me out...please." He felt like he allowed himself to enter, not even looking him in the eye. Sasha deliberately said, "Take your boots off." She told him, raising an eyebrow suspiciously, "Why?"
"Because I cleaned the floor earlier. Now take them off, or I'll never listen to you. You got five seconds." Logan did as told, taking off his boots and hanging his leather jacket on the clothes hanger after he entered the place. He noticed the decor was decent and a bit bright, but not too bright since half the lights were on. Sasha, on the other hand, headed to the kitchen to take out two bottles of fruit punch. "Here. Drink."
"Thanks."
"No problem, take a seat."
Both sat on the couch, distancing their space from one another before Sasha came downstairs: "So? What do you want to say right now, Logan?" She continues, "I don't have to listen to a sob story all night."
"Sasha...I-" Logan paused, avoided eye contact, but placed the drink on the coffee table by leaning his elbows on his knees with his hands together. Trying to come up with words to express how much he had f*cked up by calling her a liar and didn't consider how she would've reacted over his resentment towards her father. Nor the fact that her feelings were sensitive.
Logan, still reeling from the emotional impact of the situation, followed Warren's advice and took a deep breath before uttering his next words. "That was the worst I've ever felt, alright!" Sasha, taken aback by his raw emotion, responded sharply, "You should be; at least you know that judging someone's parent in front of someone is considered harsh and cruel...even though I feel the same towards my father."
She placed her fruit punch on the coffee table, the clinking of the glass resonating in the tense silence, until he said something that caught her completely off guard, "I'm sorry, I wouldn't expect much of a Mutant as you are..." The words made Logan frown sadly, looking down at his hands when he gets a sudden hand placed on top of his own by Sasha, who held a serious expression earlier turned into a genuine smile:
"But, your efforts... your apology and your smart-ass attitude is what couldn't get me upset, so because of that, you're forgiven."
"What? Just like that?"
"Yeah, did you expect me to say, 'Oh hell nah, sir, you ain't coming back to my home? Get out!' Nop, I'm not the type of person who will throw away my efforts in helping out your school of mutants." This made Logan snort and bark out laughing as it also affected Sasha, who did the same thing. After settling their discussion well, Sasha & Logan began discussing meeting up with Bobby's parents to pick up their son so he could help out with rescuing Xavier and Jean Grey.
While they continued talking, Sasha felt herself picking up the pieces of her memory puzzle as to whether to tell Logan about him being in her memories, her life of adventure for the first time by being saved by him and Bruce/Hulk, the Weapon X facility destroyed and them as a couple (Sasha x Logan) until they fell apart as he left to return home to Washington.
She escorts him to the front door and opens it for Logan to exit while Sasha leans on it by crossing her arms over her chest. Logan, on the other hand, gets headaches from time to time whenever he talks to Warren's friend. He wonders if he would ask about how Warren met a woman like Sasha and how she became special to him.
He couldn't help but admire her unwavering bravery, the gentle yet assertive way she offered guidance to others, and the self-assured attitude she exuded. Something about her left Logan feeling both perplexed and reassured. He found it remarkable that she was willingly risking her life for a group of mutants, even though she had never met the rest of Professor Xavier's missing students.
However, Logan, as the Wolverine, needs time to adjust and fix his memories on his own. That is when Sasha cut his daydream by snapping her fingers in front of him: "Logan, you back yet?"
"Hm? Oh yeah, s-sorry."
Logan scratched the back of his neck nervously, feeling confused as Sasha noticed his behavior. She remembered how he used to be back in ElkFord town, Canada, nine years ago. They both chuckled before locking eyes. Logan felt drawn to Sasha in a peaceful, hypnotizing way. No special powers were needed for Sasha to have this effect on him.
Slowly, they moved closer, their faces, hands, and bodies pressing together. "G-Good so I'll come around-" She was cut off by Logan, "I'll pick you up."
"But wouldn't it be too obvious for me to come?"
Logan chuckled, "I'm sure you'll be fine, bub." He turns to leave but is soon stopped midway downstairs by hearing Sasha calling out to him and grabbing his hand:
"Logan!... I want you to promise me something."
Unsure of how to respond while her hand was holding his firm hand, Logan blinked at the serious tone he was receiving from Sasha, almost taking in a sharp breath and nodding: "Sure? Why? My apology worked, didn't it?"
"Yes, it did, but it's not about that any more..." She started on but paused, struggling to say it, but felt Logan grip her hand in worry as she continued to speak again: "There's something that I want to tell you, but I am not ready to tell you about it, so can you wait until I'm ready to explain my secret?"
"Wanna tell me this 'secret-of-yours' right now?" Logan asked, slightly annoyed, but he didn't show it, only looked at her, only to receive a 'here me out' look, which he let her continue as she said: "No, not yet."
Sasha quickly replies in anxiousness but continues, "At least until I can get my head straight."
"Since when is your head not straight?" Logan snorted.
Sasha just facepalmed, "Just promise me, you would wait until I am ready."
"Okay okay, bub." He raised his hands in surrender with his blue eyes showing a glimpse of mischief at her, "No need to be like that... Well-uh, night."
"Night, Logan..." Sasha sees him walk to his bike and drive off, leaving both of them to look back at each other with soft smiles on their faces as the full moon begins to glow brighter than before.
