Offer up an Iceman part 2

The next day at Bobby's place:

Sasha, Logan, and Hank drove to Bobby's home A.K.A. Iceman, where they could talk to his parents about letting their son come with them back to the X-MEN but, but it wasn't gonna be easy as expected: "...Bobby is 18, after all."

"Legally, he could decide for himself." Sasha explained with a reason, but it was boiling her blood to the brink of an explosion that she couldn't control, "YOU'RE NOT GETTING OUR SON BACK! We will not let him leave this house!" Bob's mom pointed at him in anger, while Logan, on the other hand, watched the entire thing; Making her (Sasha) annoyed and wonder how Bobby could survive with his parents being possessive and protective over their son, who is a mutant of ice.

Sasha sighs and stands next to Logan's left side, "I swear if they don't agree on letting their son come with us." She growled under her breath in anger just by clenching her fist, but Logan chuckled: "Let's see if they will be convinced." He mutters jokingly, making her refrain from snickering or laughing behind and in front of Bobby's parents.

Hank tries persuading them with a reason, but they won't let Bob go, and he (Bobby) comes downstairs to hear all the commotion from his room: "That isn't fair! I wanna go with them!" Sasha turns to see an 18-year-old boy with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a white long-sleeved sweater under a red t-shirt with flannel shorts for boys and sneakers, "Bobby, wait for us inside!" "Mr. & Ms. Drake, please," Hank starts: "Just talk to him about it." He offered.

Sasha comes in and says, "Mr. Drake, I assure you that if something did cause harm to your son."

"And what makes you want to help them and my son, Miss Ross?" Mr. Drake scoffs, "You don't know anything about mutants!"

"Mr. Drake, I have witnessed, befriended, and almost gotten murdered by the MRD a few weeks ago! And if I know any better, you both are isolating his talents and special powers that can save the lives of many from harm's way!" Sasha sharply tells him, "I know your parents, so just f*cking grow up and let go of your son One more time, or everyone will die because of the decisions you make for your son to not come!"

"You are just human like us, Ms. Ross, so don't act like you were one of them!" The words slapped on Sasha, making her grip her nails and dig into her palms; Logan noticed the blood coming from her. He grew concerned over the 'human' woman, and without anyone seeing, Logan placed his rough left hand over hers.

Sasha's train of thought was abruptly interrupted when he realized that Ms. Drake was glaring at him. He looked down in defeat as she threatened to call the police. The tension escalated as the parents emerged and swiftly slammed the door shut in their faces.

"Okay, we did it your way." Snapping out of her thoughts, Sasha protects the door in front of Hank and Logan's shocked expressions, "What are you-? No, you're not!" "We aren't going to destroy property, Sweetheart." Logan smugly smirked: "Simply open the door, and that's it."

She got pissed, "If you kick the door down, I swear—" "And there he goes." Hank replies. As Sasha is about to stop him again, she sees and is facepalmed as she mentally counts from 1 to 3: '1...2...3.'

Logan kicks the door open. " Are you coming or what? Your son is a mutant; deal with it." Once Bobby, Logan, and Hank went to the Rainstorm jet, Sasha was grabbed by one of his parents' wrists, which made her freeze: "If you see our son hurt because of them, we would blame it on you, Mrs. Ross."

"...I can assure you, Miss." She continued to take her wrist away; luckily, the men weren't there to see it. "If I were a mutant, I would have reacted the same as your son. So, I promise to protect him from harm's way. Good day." But after closing the door in their faces, the words of Ms. Drake saying Sasha was "human" made her wish that she could open up about the part that she is also a mutant. However, Sasha is hiding it.

Hiding from the mutant and human community from ever finding out about Commander Ross's youngest disowned daughter with the mutant powers. Not once has she ever failed in protecting herself from anyone, except for Logan, Who still hasn't figured out why Sasha was related to his past, but he would find out soon.

He watches the jump into the helicarrier and sits down in the back, not caring about a kid explaining about their next teammate going to Genosha. Who is willing to return to the X-MEN with Logan and Hank; Going into deep thought of whether it was the right thing to do? Once in the ocean point of view, Logan couldn't help as he flew the helicarrier to the boat while thinking about her reaction after Bobby's mom had said to Sasha; It was unnerving, and yet, pissed off about someone not accepting her by joining in the crusade.

But deep down, Logan felt the need to comfort her. The problem was that he didn't know how he could do it, so he sighed before putting it on autopilot as he walked over to Sasha and said, "Don't listen to what Bobby's mom said, Sasha." He continues, "That's how it is for the rest of the world."

"...I know. But it just feels like I was-" Sasha was cut off by Logan interrupting her with the same word she was going to say, " 'Scolded'? Yeah, I heard that before..." He gripped her hand as Hank listened hiding his amused smile while Bobby watched the scene before he had his mouth dropped: "But, no matter the situation you are in, just make sure you ain't gonna lose your cool like I did besides, X-MEN is now your home just know that you will be safe and sound away from it all."

No one words came out of Sasha, since he left her speechless with his words as if it made her see a flashback of the time Logan offered her a home.

--Flashbacks starts--

"Well, in any case, if you do go to X-Men...just know that you will be safe and sound away from it all,"  Logan offered with a small smile.

"I'll take your words seriously." Once the conversation was over, both of them were gazing into the fireplace while their own past reflected on memory lane:

"Hey, Sasha?"

"Yes?" She said. Turning around now facing Logan, who stands up from the sofa, they both figured out each other's secrets:

"Thank you."

"For what?" Sasha asked, confused, making him slightly chuckle at her confusion, and responded with a gentle smile forming across his lips:

"For listening & telling me the truth about your powers. Logan continues, "I had a hard time trusting others in my previous life, so I thank you for it." She hesitates at his words but then relaxes by offering Logan a better place to sleep on her bed, he nods and follows her up the ladder, leading to her bedroom while the full moon lights up the room from the large window next to her bed as stars began sparkling the night sky.

--Flashbacks ended--

Without caring about anyone watching his actions, Sasha felt her eyes watering up while she gripped her hands into tight fists, but that is until she instantly hugged Logan to the floor, Seeking comfort and solace in his embrace. She buries her face in his shoulder, her body trembling slightly with suppressed emotions.

Logan blinked before he wrapped his arms around her body, holding her tightly, offering a sense of security and understanding. He didn't think much of his past, but somehow, whenever he was around Sasha, His heart beat rapidly, but he also could hear her heart beating louder as the feeling of the moment was just right for only the Wolverine and the 'human' woman to stay and remain in that position for a while.

The silence envelops them as Logan's presence becomes a refuge for Sasha; at that moment, she realizes that she doesn't have to face her struggles alone or with Betty. With the weight of her secret and the fear of rejection from mutants beginning to lift a little, replaced by a glimmer of hope and acceptance.

In hopes that in the near future, Sasha wouldn't hide her powers anymore. Eventually, they pull away slightly as she looks up at Logan with tear-filled eyes and a grateful smile. "Thank you," she whispers, her voice filled with sincerity. "I don't know what I would do without your comforting words."

Logan gives her a gentle nod, his blue eyes reflecting understanding and compassion over her brown ones; he removes a strand of Sasha's black hair behind her ear by softly staring at her: "You don't have to face it alone," he says softly. "We're a team and will always be there for each other. Doesn't matter if you are human... what matters is that you take care of yourself, okay?"

"O-Ok." Sasha was bashful over his actions. She knew his past and how they met, but as time moved on, Logan forgot about her existence in his love life. As they both rose from the floor, Hank and Bobby watched from a distance, their expressions filled with warmth and support.

They understand this moment's significance and the bond between Sasha and Logan.

The X-Men, a chosen family, will continue to stand united, supporting one another through thick and thin. With newfound strength and determination, Sasha wipes away her tears and straightens her posture. She takes a deep breath, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead: "Let's go find Kitty."

Time skip~ in the middle of the ocean...

Once the last recruit joined in, Logan, Hank, and Bobby were happy to see their friend/partner, Kitty, who noticed Sasha as she felt someone grab her shoulders, she looked up to meet a girl with brown hair wearing a lighter jeans jacket, a pink strapless crop top, and jeans with sneakers: "Hi! I'm Kitty! Nice to meet you, what's your name? What kind of powers do you have? And where did you come from?"

"Uh, a-actually... I-I'm just a human who wanted to help out after Logan saved me from the MRD facility's torture room."

"What? Why would-"

"Bobby, Kitty, She's Sasha Ross... she is the only one who is willing to help us out." Logan spoke up, leaving some "Oh's" sounds from both teenagers as Hank started to smile at how easily close Bobby and Kitty instantly got along well with Sasha (for a hiding mutant, but no one knows that) for a human as she explains what the MRD did to her which they both got fired up and pissed on how much she has been through just by helping them.

That is until Logan eavesdrops by hearing about the so-called 'tracker' behind Sasha's ear, which she starts on quickly telling them, "O-Oh, it's just a tracker my sister made for me in case something bad happens to m-me." She adds: "But no worries, It's not going to reveal anything."

The hidden lie in Sasha's voice could be otherwise, as it wasn't hard for Hank and Logan to notice. They waved it off as if she was telling the truth, but he (Logan) was suspicious about it while flying the rest of the team back to the X-MEN Lair.

---At the X-MEN Lair...(Sasha's pov):---

After bringing Kitty and Bobby back to the X-MEN lab with them, they all were welcomed by Rogue near the screens: "Rouge!" Before the teens could run up to her, Logan stopped them from doing so, which I'm not going to lie, but there is a reason why she wanted to join the Brotherhood: going to have a talk with Logan, "Leave us." He told them. Hank takes Bobby and Kitty away with Sasha, but she doesn't go with them, so they ask: "You wanna come and check out our suits?"

"I wish I did, Kitty, but I have to go to meet my dad tomorrow in New York." Sasha then asked Hank to help her with the exit, so with the help of Bobby, who used his ice powers to lift her up, but before she could leave and head home on her bike. A rough hand grabbed her hand by pulling her away, and Sasha turned around, which, to my shock, was Logan. He didn't seem too keen on me going away.

By the look in his blue eyes, Logan stared at me, "You aren't going to join?" "I'm still joining the X-MEN, but I have family matters to attend to, Logan." I explained, "We discussed this before. I won't let out your plan or anything to jeopardize the X-MEN unless it comes to a certain degree of danger. Now, would you let me go?"

With a heavy sigh of defeat, Logan nodded before he swiftly carried her in his arms by jumping up to the exit, and as soon as he landed me safely, letting me down on my feet, "When are you coming back?"

He asked, to which I responded: "After three days tops, why?"

"Just...just uh, don't get caught," Logan told Sasha, who was dumbfounded by his words; he averted his eyes away from hers, and she tried to read his expression, only to see none so, being the stubborn person she was.

Sasha wanted to let him look at her eyes but was hesitant to do it.

So, she lets it slide: "You do realize that you sounded dumb, right?"

"Huh? Hey-"

"Just kidding! Jeez, I was messing with you." She laughed at his reaction, only to see Logan roll his eyes before he chuckled. The only thing Sasha wished for once in her life was to see and tell Logan how much he had lost his memories and her feelings for him. Logan nodded before he escorted her to her bike. "Are you sure that Rogue can be trusted?"

"I hope so," Logan said, as Sasha turned and revved her engine: "Well, see you soon, and let me know how it goes."

Sasha drives on her bike and leaves.

--New York, at S.T.A.R.K. Industries...--

(Sasha's P.o.v.): The next day.

"Thanks for dropping by, Sasha!"

I ran up to my older sister, and we smiled happily before Betty started giving me a hug. In return, I returned the gesture and smiled, "It's no problem, and besides, I really needed a distraction."

"...It's Logan with the memories, isn't it?"

I stiffened before I sighed in defeat and walked with Betty, "Yeah... but let's talk about something else! How's the 'secret' request I asked you to make?"

I wanted to change the subject from talking about Logan's memory problem. Luckily, my older sister understood it as she explained the details about new projects for S.H.I.E.L.D. that are open while the 'secret' request I asked Betty to do for me.
