Ch. 2
(Like Picture above, however has a long hip length braid. Has golden eyes.)
"Holly! Holly! Holly!" Changed the surrounding students as I defended myself from the demon possessed human.
He strikes a punch a punch for my cheek, I lean to the right.
He then tries to kick me, I defend with my forearm.
Then I wrap my arms around his neck then knee his stomach multiple times. Then round house a kick to his face.
Then cradling him, I punch him over and over.
"Holly!" Someone then ripped me off him. An held me back as I tried to finish the job.
"Let me go!" I yell fighting the person, elbowing his stomach, then flipping him over my shoulder.
A cop then runs in front of me. I stop as he aims a taser at me. Then pulls the trigger. An boy did it hurt.
I was only out of it for a few seconds. An yet I was already in the principles officer. Handcuffed to the wall.
I sat there, waiting for Mr. Kenneth. An his "expert" advise.
"Holly? What," He sighed, laughing. "What did you do this time? I told you, no fighting on school grounds." He said.
His blonde hair and and brown eyes doing nothing to provoke me.
"Self Defense as always." I reply.
He sighs, picking up a thick file and then slamming it onto his desk. "19 fights, in this semester alone. All you say of them is Self Defense. What's the reasoning for this one?" He asks.
I roll up my sleeve, a 7 inch gash on my forearm. "He cut me with," I paused reaching into my pocket. An pulling out the weapon. " A box cutter." My blood on the blade.
He was wide eyed on how blunt I was. Even more so that there was a bloody box cutter on his desk.
"I see. So you have proof this time." He motioned the cop to unlock the handcuffs. He did with shaky hands and I looked to him.
"What's he's scared about?" I ask.
"He's the one who tasered you." Said Mr. Kenneth.
I didn't hate him for doing his job but it still. He could have been merciful.
"See ya." I walk outside of the office and put in my head phones. Listening to music as I jogged home for the night.
People smiling at me and moving out of the way. Why? Because I'm the best fighter in the school's district. I'm the jewel of the town.
My house was 5 miles downtown. My neighbor is Mrs. Miaso. She's 87, a kind and sweet woman. When I was a kid I was always late for school so she would make my lunch and I'd thank her. She would even come to my fighting tournaments.
Now she gives me a pomegranate before I leave. On my way home I get her groceries. Since the store owner is a friend of mine. He already has everything ready for pick up.
I stop and walk into the grocery store. "Holly, here you are." Said Keith as he handed me a bag.
"Thanks Keith. An here's your money." I say paying him.
"You have the National Fights coming up don't you?" He asks.
I nod, as I almost walk out. "Win! Fight! Win!" He calls out.
I smile back and run home. Mrs. Miaso was sitting on the porch. A smile on her face.
"Evening Mrs. Miaso." I say.
"Hello there Holly. I see your home a bit late. What happened?" She asks.
"Practice I guess you could say." I reply.
She laughs and then pats my cheek. I then walk inside and put up her groceries.
"You turn 16 tomorrow right?" She asks from outside.
"Yes, I'm surprised you remembered." I reply.
"You kidding, I've known you since Kyo and Shou were here?" She said.
I stopped when she said those words. I haven't thought of them in years it seems. I shake that off and walk outside.
"I'm heading home, need anything before I go?" I ask her.
"No, but I want to give you this," She then hands me a box.
"A young man dropped this off earlier as a birthday gift." She then says.
I roll my eyes playfully and take the box. "Thanks." Then I kiss her cheek.
She smiled and then watched me walk off her property to my house.
After taking a shower I tape my fingers and then slip on a black sports bra and black tights. Heading downstairs and kicking and punching a bag on the hinge.
Till I see the lights next door come on. What's weird is. They haven't in 10 years.
