∆ Alec's POV ∆ (Ooooo new pov)

"Looks like she has a boyfriend dude" my best friend,  jacob, said nudging my shoulder.

The sight of Avery hugging this boy made piece of my heart shred.

I guess the first time i saw Avery...i fell inlove with her.

Love at first sight? I guess that's true..

Weird thing is...I've never felt like this for a very very long time

"Shut up" i sternly said to jacob and i climb up the rink ready to skate down.

"Boyfriend huh" i said to myself and i pushed my board and i skate down. I did an ollie at the bottom and i got down carefully

"I don't think so" i smirked and i pulled up my board and i clutched it with one arm.

∆ Avery's POV ∆

Austin pulled me towards a bench underneath the tree that we carved our initials on.

A&A

"What's that?" i pointed at one unidentified object placed on the bench. It's rectangular shaped. Me guessing....it's a box. What? It was wrapped with a plain black wrapping paper!

"Open it" he smiled so i slowly walked towards the bench. I grabbed it and i carefully rip the paper.

Ha! I was right it is long rectangular box!

I opened the box and my mouth gaped open. I'm too happy to react!!!

Inside the box is...

A skateboard!!!!

I pulled the skateboard gently outside the box.

Since it was wrapped in plastic, austin tossed me a cutter. I ripped the plasctic to pieces. Mwuahahahahaha!

I flipped the board around to see something that melts my heart.

Austin

It's inside this heart with a cupid arrow.

I turned the board around once more to see its color.

It's color black with small white dots impersonating stars. Because...you know, first look at the board..it looks like stars lighting up the dark color of the board.

I jumped up and hugged Austin tightly

"Thank you so much Austin! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!" i said to Austin thanking him repeatedly.

"I'll give you everything, Avery. You know that right?" he said pulling away and caressing my cheeks with his thumbs.

I nodded. It felt like déjà vu. Cause Ryan said the same line.

He smiled and he pulled away getting something behind the tree.

He came back with a skateboard that looks just like mine. But he showed me the back and the only difference is that the names are switched

                &
               Austin

I smiled. Couple skateboards...well that's new.

"Can't wait to try it out" i smiled widely looking at Austin and then back to my board.

"You don't even know how to skate" he laughed.

Yes, i really really really don't know how to skate. Just like i said to Alec

I pouted. Do you guys know....that Austin is good with skateboards. He's my zoomer.

"Come on, I'll teach you" he smiled and we walked to this wide space.

"Now teach me, zoomer" i said placing my one foot on the board

"What did you just call me?" he asked smiling.

"My zoomer–...oh fuck, no sorry. I mean..Zoomer. I called you zoomer" i said.

I am so stupid! I embarrassed myself infront of Austin. Great (sarcasm alert)

"Don't worry, I'll guide you all the way. My princess" he said winking at me and i playfully punch his shoulders.

"Okay now seriously this time. Teach me" i said trying not to laugh. He placed his board, my bag and his bag on a bench

"Oookkay" he laughed and then looked at me.

"So, place this here-" he said placing both of my arms around his neck and he placed his arms around my arms.

"And then put your feet on the board" he said not breaking eye contact with me. And i did.

I placed my weight on Austin's shoulders so that i won't wiggle.

"Relax. I wont let you fall" he smiled at me still not breaking eye contact.

I lessened the weight on his shoulders and a stand steady on my feet.

"Good. Now try to keep your balance" he said and he started to walk side wards slowly and the wheels on my board started to roll making me move.

I kept my balance and i successfully didn't wiggle or whatsoever.

I'm still amused that we're still making eye contact.

Ofcourse. The stupid me had to ruin the moment. I looked away because i saw Alec looking at me smiling.

"You're doing great" Austin said calling back my attetion. He made the skateboard stop and he slowly lets go of my waist. And i, too, slowly put my arms down.

"Now try it without my help?" He suggested and i agreed.

Help me god please. I do not wanna fall infront of Austin.

I pushed the board with my right foot and i quickly put it on the board maintaining my balance.

For the first time...first try, i didn't fall.

After that, i stopped the board and i turned to Austin smiling.

"Oh my god!" I exclaimed hugging Austin tightly.

"You know, you're gonna squeeze the life out of me" Austin said out of breath.

I quickly let go and looked at him with a happy but sorry face.

"Sorry. I'm just so happy" i said hugging him once more..but not tight this time.

I heard him mutter the word "Perfect.." Before hugging me back.

"Teach me more? I mean, I'm probably a noob at this time. I want to be a.....mid-advanced skateboarder" i said looking at Austin.

"Jeez...this is gonna be hard" Austin said smiling while rubbing the back of his neck. And i laugh.

I turn around to look at Alec, who's still skating like it's really easy.

"He's good, huh?" Austin said pointing at Alec.

"Yeah..he is" i said sighing and i turned around to face Austin

"Come on. Let's go" he said holding my hand and pulling me with him.

"Austin...where are we going...again?" I asked getting exhausted of walking

"It's already.....3:15" he said taking a look at his watch

"Let's watch netflix" he added and we started to walk at the direction of my house

I glanced once more at Alec....and he's still skating -_-

I continued my walking and eventually we reached my house laughing all the way.

Mom isn't here yet so i unlocked the door with the spare key under the flower pot.

"What are we gonna watch?" I asked Austin before entering the house

"Anything? Rick & Morty? Stranger Things? Shadow Hunters?" He suggested one by one.

We entered my room (dont think dirty peeps!) and we sat down the sofa facing the screen. I opened the tv and i pressed the netlix button.

"Let's go for......Shadow Hunters" i said pressing the 'okay' button on the remote

"So this is how we're gonna spend our imaginary last day together huh?" I said to Austin grabbing a handful of popcorn on the bowl

We're still binge watching Shadow Hunters. We couldn't stop until we see Jace and Clary kiss.

I open my phone to see what time it is. 5:23 pm. It's still early, why does time move so frikin slow??

"Nah" he said standing up and brushing the popcorn crumbs on his jeans. He offered his hand to pull me up and i accepted it.

"You know what, i am not gonna ask where are we going next..suprise me" i gave up trying to ask 'where are we going?' Knowing that he'll only say that it's a secret.

He grinned at me and we headed outside.

"Sooo...we're walking again huh?" I said stuffing my hands in my pockets and shrugging

"Do you have a bike? Car? Motorcycle?" He chuckled

"We have skateboards" i said jumping infront of him with a smile on my face and removing my hands out of my pockets.

"Avery, do you know that if we use the boards...it'll make us even more exhausted than walking?" Austin stared looking at with a smile and furrowed eyebrows

"Clear point" i said clicking my tongue stepping out of his way and i continue walking by his side.

We were silent for 2 solid minutes...until Austin decided to break it.

"We never had a chance to talk about it..you know?" He said walking straight ahead.

"Talk about what?" I asked facing him.

"Our pretend marriage" he shrugged and stuffed his hands in his pockets

I look away from him and i focused on the trees around me and Austin.

"Well...what is there to talk about? It's only pretend" i nervously chuckled and i glanced at him for 2 seconds.

"A-alot" he stuttered

"Hmmm...then let's talk" i said sitting down the edge of the sidewalk

He sighed and he sat down next to me.

"So what is it?" I said smiling

"It wasn't actually...I've —uhh...
I've been...." He stuttered

"You've been what?" I laughed at his stuttering.

"I've been...i don't know"  he nervously smiled wiping his hands on his jeans

"What is it Connor? Spit it out" I asked with a completely puzzled face.

"I'm just tired, i was crazy enough to talk about it without even knowing what to say" he said chuckling

"H-how bout you?" He asked with a worried look on him face

I clicked my tongue and sighed. I actually didn't know...

"Well, me too i guess" i said facing him.

"Our 13 year old lives got us all jumbled up, didn't it?" He smiled.

"Yeah, it really did. Like BIGTIME" i said laughing.

We both sighed and we stared into the sunset. The colors that will make you wish that it wouldn't go and sink.

"Do you remember how we first met?" I asked out of nowhere

"Yeah..ofcourse, how could i ever forget?" He laughed a little bit

"Our moms bought us to this room and they let go of our tiny little hands..." I paused letting out a breath. I can feel tears forming in my eyes

(A/N = their are no cars where Austin and Avery are walking. It's just a street. But of course, sometimes their are cars that go and use the street)

"And then suddenly...you bumped into me" he said sniffling and he laughed

"You told me to get lost. But you were stuttering while saying that. And every time we meet i always call you Stutter Boy" i chuckled wiping my tears away

"And just then...we became best friends" he smiled letting his tears drop.

It was silent once more. The peaceful silent kind.

"You know what?" I said facing him completely

"What?" He said facing me too

There's still tears on his cheeks so i wiped them away with my thumbs and i smiled at him.

"Let's make our friendship vows" i said and he smiled at me

"But of course...let's recite the parabatai oath" he said reaching his hand to me and i grabbed it

(A/N= mkay on with the story)

We both closed our eyes and we smiled

"Entreat me not to leave thee,
  Or return from following after thee—
  For wither thou goest, i will go
  And where thou lodgest, i will lodge
  Thy people shall be my people,
   And thy god be my god..." I stopped for his part. Fun fact guys, Austin and i only took hours to memorize this parabatai oath

"Where thou diest, i will die
   And there will i be buried..
   The angel do so to me,
    And more also,
    If augth but death part thee
    And me" he said finishing the oath and we both opened our eyes

"No matter what happens...I, Austin Zachary Connor will not leave Avery Sophia Harper until the day i die. And we'll be bestfriends forever" He said his voice cracking a little bit at the end

"And I, Avery Sophia Harper will not leave Austin Zachary Connor ever. I will stay by his side forever." Once i was done saying the oath..i hugged him.

And now i know...that these damn sparks will not go away no matter what.

I pulled away and i punched his shoulders lightly

"Okay okay, let's stop all this drama. We still have a place to go to" i said laughing and i pulled him up

We reached this huge wall like form.  But here's the thing...there's this wooden door infront of us.

"Listen up, Avery. You can never let anybody know about this place or the cliff. It's our sacred ground" he said and his face held this type of seriousness.

"Yep. I promise" i let out a short laugh and he opened the door carefully.

He stepped inside first and he motioned me to come inside.

"W-what is this place?" I asked looking around.

This is absolutely mega breath taking.

There's this swing in the middle and it's surrounded by grass and flowers and trees.

Do you guys know the secret garden from the cinderalla movie? Well this is it! Real life secret garden but more beautiful and huge.

"It's a secret garden, duh" he said moving close to me

"I know, stutter boy" i smirked  my insult at him.

"Ha ha, nice try Avery" he sarcastically laughed at me and he walked close to the swing.

"Come on, sit down" he smiled at  pointing at the swing.

I walked close to him and i sit down the swing. He placed his hand on my back and he pushed me gently.

"I know you're gonna request me to push you higher but no" he said pushing me once more with the same force but i planted my feet to the ground and i face him.

"I'm not gonna die, Austin" i laughed at his state if not wanting to push me up higher

"Yeah, i know. But what if you fall?" He said over worrying

I stand up from the swing and i walk closer to him.

"You're the bestest friend ever, Austin" i sighed and i hugged him.

"And you're my bestest friend ever, Avery"
