☆ Avery's POV ☆

"Oooo i wanna try everything" I was like a little girl again. But this time Austin was my guardian hahaha..

"We don't have the time to go on all rides Avery. Besides we need to go home anyway. Reece or Bella might've been calling you." He said it was getting kinda late and the sun is setting fast.

"Oh yeah they have been. 13 missed calls from Reece and 10 from bella. What are we waiting for let's go" he said running towards the car

"But before all that..." He stopped beside the passenger door holding my hands.

I don't know if I'm blushing or what but i sure know that these garden of butterflies ain't stopping until he let's go of my hands.

"I want to stay up all night with you again...please?" He requested with puppy eyes that he knows i can't resist.

"There's school tomorrow" i groaned looking somewhere else and not his stupid cute face.

"So what? We also had school when we stayed up all night the last time" I can see him rolling his eyes and he did the unbelievable.

He held my chin and turned my head forcing me to look at him gently.

Calm down Avery, calm down. You guys are just bestfriends...nothing more. Forget you have feeling for him because maybe he forgot too.

"You suck, Austin" I scrunch my face up and i pushed his face outta my way and i got into the car.

I saw him smile and he ran to the drivers side and he got in.

"So are we staying up?" He smiled cheekily to make sure that i will really agree

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever" he started the car and i look out the window.

"You look cute, you know" he blurted OUT OF NOWHERE!

I wanted to squeal so badly but i decided to keep cool.

"Small thing, Austin. But thank you anyway" I smirked.

"Heh. I knew it, your ego is the same size as Texas" He chuckled hitting the steering wheel a few times to conceal his laughter.

"Nah, its not. I'm just playing with you. Now hurry your ass up and drive faster. Reece and Bella are waiting" I commanded poiting forward

"Okay okay!" He said putting both of his hands up in surrender

"What the hell Austin are you crazy?!" I shouted taking hold of the steering wheel and driving it straight.

I heard him chuckle before placing his hands on the steering wheel again.

"If you still want to stay up all night, you better not kill the both of us" I said sitting properly in my seat.

▪TIME SKIP▪

"Avery! What took you both so long? You're using a car? But Avery's house is just a few blocks away!" Bella instantly bombed us with questions as soon as we got out of the car.

"Sorry Bella, we fell asleep" Austin lied pretending to be sleepy.

"And you forgot us? How tragic! How could you? We were waitng for hours-" Before bella could go on and on complaining i got away from their argruement.

"Hey Reece" I beamed a smile at him.

"Hey"

"I read your letter" I chuckled awkwardly.

"Really? So, will you go to sports mash with me?" He asked with his eyes full of hope.

"Yeah, i will"

His eyes widened at my answer

"Austin let you? B-but..how? I m-mean, good thing he did" he said failing to keep his chill.

At this moment i am holding back a laugh and I'm trying to be serious. Reece never fails to amuse me

"I know right, he was kinda acting weird" I crossed my arms thinking of what could possibly trigger austin that much.

Maybe Dylan and Ryan? I guess so.

"Well. He's a guy full of secrets" he repied.

Austin? A guy full of secrets? What?

"Nah, i don't think so. He tells everything to me" i said

"Is he really, Avery? Because i don't think so too" he came closer to me, like really close but i didn't mind because i was confused like a lost puppy. Reece's eyes are just telling me that i have no clue of what's going on.

"I don't understand" I furrowed my eyebrows and ut my hands at my sides

"He doesn't expect you to understand" and with that he walks back into the house leaving me clueless as hell.

What is he trying to say? I know my bestfriend, he doesn't keep secrets from me.

What is wrong with everybody this day?

I walk into the house following reece to ask him questions but before i could reach the stairs Austin got in the way.

"Where is my best friend going?" He smiled at me placing both of his hands at both sides of the rail of the stairs stopping me from going up.

"Just gonna ask reece a few questions" I said

"But Averyyyyy" he pouted spreading his arms wide in attempt to hug me but i walk away from him.

"What Austin?" I tried to be intimidating but i couldn't hold back my laugh.

He's too cute.

"U mad at meeee?" He asked still pouting like a little kid.

"No , I'm not mad at you"

"Then why you running away?" He took a step closer to me but i started running.

"Averyyyyyyy!" He started to chase after me. Good thing i got a head start.

But unfortunately he caught up to me.

"You're not getting away that easily" he hugged me from behind stopping me from running

"Let go!" I shouted trying to remove his grip.

Wow, who thought that this stick can have an iron grip.

I mean, he's not literally a stick. He has muscles and all, he's also hot and don't forget he's cute.

"Hey! Can you two spare the sweetness?" Bella said coming out of nowhere

"Now Austin, im gonna borrow your girlfriend for like...an hour so you can go play games with reece or whatever you boys do" she rolled his eyes at Austin and he let go of me.

Bella pulled me away from him and into the house

"You two aren't good yet?" I asked

"Me and that doofus? Oh he needs to apologize first" she snapped her fingers at me sassily and i giggled.

We entered the room she's staying in and i sat down on the bed

"So, what are we doing?" I ask looking at the ceiling.

"I'm gonna give you some of my clothes. No offense Avery, your clothes are kindaaaa..weird but I'm sure they're comfy" she said pulling out clothes from her bag

I gasp at what she said. My clothes are cute and comfy! They're not weird i totally love them.

"Avery, get rid of those friking tshirts" she said placing the clothes near me

It is true, I guess it's time to get rid of them (no not really)

"Okay I'll get rid of them, chill out" i laugh putting my hands up in surrender mode because this girl just roasted me

I picked out some of the clothes checking it out.

They're really cute, some are crop tops and these shorts with a whole lot of stuffs

And then she placed the horror beside me.

Make up that i don't use anymore. I only use freaking powder now.

"Nonononono bella, there is no way in hell. You can have it, i don't want it" i said pushing the make up away

"Oh come on Avery, i know you and Austin will probably go leave us here and wander off so i might as well nake you look pretty" she smiled at me really sweetly just so i can agree.

But hey, she's Bella. The girl who always gets what she wants.

"Ugh, Fine" i grunt as i sat down the chair facing the mirror ready to be tortured by beaty tools.

"This is gonna be fun" bella smirked as she brushed my hair.

Let the torture begin.

☆ AUSTIN'S POV ☆

"What did you tell Avery?" I glared at reece intimidating him

Reece is like my brother, i trust him no matter what i told him not to tell Avery anything.

"Nothing, Austin. I didn't tell her anything" He said sitting down on one of the gaming chairs and opening the gaming system we have which is xbox.

"Why did she want to ask you questions?" I ask him again being less intimidating sitting with him on the gaming chairs.

"I don't know, maybe it's related to the sports mash" he shrugged getting the controllers and handing me one

"Maybe it is" i said and he opened the game we're playing and the intro of the game rolled on the screen.

"You're gonna break her, you know..." reece said quietly but enough for me to hear.

Suddenly, i put the game to pause

"I know..." my head hung low, i couldn't think of anything else but Avery.

She's my world...

"Why don't you just say it her?" He asked putting his controller down.

"Because she's my bestfriend, she won't understand"

"What if she will?" He asked once more

"I know her, she won't" i said looking back at the screen

"Now let's play this game already" i chuckled changing my mood and he took his controller and we played.

I know i only have a few hours left with my bestfriend and now I'm feeling like it's the end of the world.

I've never felt fear, but with Avery i always do. She makes me feel things i don't want to feel.

She made me fall for her without even trying.

And yet, If i wanna do this without feeling anything, without feeling pain..I have to get rid of my feelings for her knowing that she will too.

☆ AVERY'S POV ☆

"What the hell?" I sucked in a breath as i observe myself infront of the mirror.

This is surely not me, how the hell did i get this pretty? Does Bella have magic or does she go to Hogwarts?

Standing infront of the mirror is me, with natural make up, my hair not in a pony tail anymore, and I'm wearing white fitted jeans with black thick silk off sholder top and black converse.

"I have made a masterpiece, i am very very proud of myself" Bella dramatically put her hand on her chest and looked at me.

"What did you do to me?" I'm still shocked at this point because i can not believe how i look right right now

"Don't you like it?" She asked sadly

"Are you kidding me? I love it! I just...never looked so pretty my entire life. How on earth did you do it?"

"It's called make up, duh!" She made a face at me and i chuckled

There goes Bella again and her sassy replies.

"Austin told me to stop using make up even though i only use the basics. And then you put make up on me like it's the most easiest thing in the world"  i laugh.

I mean, come on! I don't look this pretty when i use make up. Austin said i look prettier without make up so i don't use it anymore, it was after the party though

I wonder what Austin's reaction will be when he sees me

I look at my phone to check what time it is. 9:28pm, still early

"Well, practice makes you better" she said fixing my hair a little bit.

"You ready to go outside and slay?" Bella smirked at me

"Ready as I'll ever be" i let out a sigh as i look at myself in the mirror one last time

"You'll be fine, trust me" and i do trust bella. She's like the little sister i never had

We walk outside the bedroom suprisingly reece and Austin are at the living room watching tv, Austin's watching something from disney channel and Reece is busy scrolling diwn his phone i think.

I heard Bella clear her throat, oh god this is gonna be bad.

"Austin! Here's your Avery you can have her back!" She shouted really loudly causing both reece and austin to turn their heads and look at us

"Bella for God's sake it wouldn't hurt to lo-" reece dropped his phone looking at me with his mouth open

Austin's the same with his mouth open too.

"Lower your voice down" reece finished swallowing hard and clearing his throat too

He picked up his phone revealing a new crack on it

"Aw man" he said scratching the back of his neck

"What did you do to Avery?" Austin asked bella standing up and walking towards us

Please ground that I'm stepping on please just eat me.

I knew it he was gonna say that

"What do you mean what did i do to her?!" Bella reacted pushing Austin's shoulder

"No no no" he chuckled walking closer to me

"She's beautiful"

And that my friends, made my heart skip a freaking beat
