Sasuke looked over to me and gave me a sad look. He then mouthed a few words to me which made my eyes fill with water and my heart light up with hope.

"I'm sorry, Naruko...I love you," he mouthed to me so only I could see.

I held onto the clothing that covered my heart as I felt a tear touch my hand.

He finally said it...

I watched him walk up to Sakura angrily as he stared her down with an evil stare. "Sakura...did you really lie to me?"

She trembled as she stared at him in fear. "How long were you-?"

"Did you lie to me?" He repeated angrily, cutting off her mid-sentence.

Her voice was shaking and her lies flowed like water. "N-no, of course not! I would never lie to you Sasuke!"

"Then you're saying what you just said was a lie?"

She stared at him, speechless and at a loss of words. Her tongue was tied and her lies were now useless.

"You're a liar, Sakura. You make me sick."

He turned away from her and began to walk up to me. He gave me a weak smile before apologizing.

"Naruko...I'm sorry...I should have trusted you..."

I shook my head, as I looked at him lovingly. "No, it's also my fault for not opening up to you the way I did was Sakura."

Shikamaru sighed loudly. "You two are a mess...This whole situation was both of your faults. You both should have talked to each other instead of assuming things..." he pressed his fingers against his temple and sighed again, "Promise me you guys will actually communicate next time because taking care of this whole mess was a total drag..."

The both of us laughed at his comment.

"Yeah, we will from now on," I said happily.

Hinata gave us both a warm smile. "May you guys be happy."

Sasuke and I looked at each other for the first time in what felt like years, and the spark between us had never faded. I reached for his hand and he took it slowly, intertwining his fingers softly with mine.

"Naruko...I'm never letting you go again."

The pain in my heart began to mend itself with his words. "I'm yours."

One week Later

It's been a week since the situation with Sakura. The word about what happened between us three spread around the whole village, and soon Sakura became the most despised person in the village. Our friends left her and she became alone.

But even though she treated me badly and stabbed me in the back, I felt bad for her. She was my best friend at one point, so it hurt me to see her suffer. But despite all that happened with Sakura, Sasuke and I are finally together again.

It was early in the morning and I heard a knock at my apartment door. I groaned angrily at the thought of having to get out of my bed.

I slowly tossed the blanket off of me and walked towards the door with a drag to my feet.

The person knocked again, annoying me and causing me to yell: "Give me a second!"

I opened the door angrily, but when I saw who it was, I froze and quickly closed the door.

Why is Sasuke here so early?!

I looked down at myself to see that I was still in my baggy Pijamas. I placed my hand on my head to feel the bundles of knots in my hair and the frizziness.

I look like crap right now!

"Naruko, open the door."

"Wa-wait! Let me get dressed!"

I heard him sigh from outside before I tried to run towards the bathroom. I dashed away to the bathroom when I heard my window open. I stopped dead in my tracks as I saw Sasuke climbing through my window.

"Sasuke, what're you doing?!"

He hopped out and began to walk towards me. I backed away from him in embarrassment and eventually hit the wall.

He smirked at me as he pinned me to the wall, not allowing me to escape.

"Since when did you care about how you looked?" He asked teasingly.

"Shu-shut up! I-I don't care!"

He chuckled happily as he leaned over to kiss me. His lips were soft and warm, and the passion that came from our lips was enough to make my body go crazy. The heat between my legs intensified and the warmth to my cheeks was unbearable.

"Sasuke...I missed you..." I said between each kiss.

"I missed you too..." he whispered back, looking at me with a loving gaze.

We smiled at each other happily before locking ourselves in a warm embrace. I rested my head on his board chest and closed my eyes, allowing myself to get lost in his warmth.

"Naruko," he whispered with a husky voice.

"Yeah?"

"Go out with me."

Shocked by his sudden comment, I looked at him with wide eyes and a tilt to my head. "What? Like, go on a date?"

His face turned a bright pink and he looked away from me in embarrassment. "Yeah..."

I smiled and rested my head back onto his chest. "This is the first time you've ever asked me out."

"Shut up..."

I giggled happily, tightening my embrace around him.

He's so adorable...

"We didn't have the chance to date properly because of that mission...but now that we do, I want to do everything in order."

"Order?" I asked a little confused.

He nodded before resting his head on mine. "Yeah...I want to experience everything with you."

I smiled happily as he lowered himself so his head was resting on my shoulder.

"I'll pick you up at seven tonight," he whispered, kissing my neck before pulling away.

He smiled at me as I held the spot he kissed with hand, staring at him with a red face and a fast-beating heart. I couldn't look at him: I was too embarrassed and aroused to think straight. My mind was going wild with fantasies and my body was pushing me to go out of control.

I felt his hand touch my chin as he lifted my head to face him. I looked into his eyes lustfully as he gave me a smirk that told me he knew how I was feeling.

"Don't worry Naruko, eventually you'll get what you want," he teased before kissing me again.

Stupid idiot...

He pulled away and gave me a final kiss on the forehead before walking out the front door.

"Don't forget to be ready by seven."

My cheeks blushed red as he closed the door behind him. I quickly snapped out of my trance and ran towards the door and opened it quickly to see Sasuke about to go down the stairs.

I ran up to him calling his name: "Sasuke, wait!"

He looked back at me, surprised by my sudden appearance. "Naruko?"

He was halfway down the stairs, and people began to walk out of their apartments to see what all the yelling was about.

I stood at the top of the stairs and smiled at him happily. "Sasuke, I love you~!"

His face blushed pink before he looked away in embarrassment. "You're a dork..."

People around us began to giggle happily from their doors as they went back into their homes to give us privacy.

I smiled happily as my heart filled with joy.
