She said placing the food in front of Rose.

Rose • Wow.. looks yummy. Probably tastes yummy as well.

She said and took a bite. She immediately 'mm'ed liking the food.

Rose • So delicious.

Alice • Glad you liked it. I am going to work now I took a leave till 5. Bye.. take care and lock the door.

Rose • Okay Unnie.. be careful on your way.

Alice left.
Rose took out her phone as it buzzed. She checked the message still eating and chocked reading the message.

Rose • -cough- -cough- WHAT!? 'Dear Roseanne Park, you have passed the audition congratulations. As you've passed we would like you to become a trainee in Hybe Labels'..?! A trainee?! Do I have to stay in a dorm then?? Let me read further 'You have a meeting with Bang PD tomorrow. Please arrive at Hybe Labels at 9 AM. Thank you, Hybe Labels.' And then the address for the building.. well I already have that. A meeting with Bang PD.. oh gosh. Let me call Alice unnie real quick.

She dialled Alice's number and called her. She picked up after 3 rings.

~ Call ~

Alice: What happened Rosie??

Rose: Uhm unnie.. I received the message from Hybe and.. they want me to be a trainee.

Alice • Well.. that's normal Rose. To become an idol you have to become a trainee first. Are you worried you will have to stay away from me??

Rose • Hmm.. we'll talk when you get home.. bye.

She hung up.
Rose placed her plates in the sink and went to her room. She plopped herself on her bed and sighed. She buried her head in the pillow.

' Trainee.. I will miss Alice unnie a lot.. ' She thought.
She suddenly heard the door of the apartment open making her confused. She got up from her bed and walked outside.

Rose • Unnie?? Is that you??

She walked towards the door only to see no one there.

Rose • That's weird.. ALICE UNNIE?? IS THAT YOU??

No response.. she started getting scared and went towards Alice's room. She slowly opened the door and peeked inside.. no one. She flinched when suddenly something dropped in the kitchen. She quickly towards the kitchen.

Rose • Who's there!? I said who's there!?

No one replied.. she was about to walk inside the kitchen when someone placed a knife on her neck.

?? • Don't move and scream or I will slit your throat.

Rose • Wh-who are you?!

?? • You don't need to know. Tell me where all your money is.

Rose • Wh-why would I tell you?

?? • Do you have a death wish lady?? Do as I say or I will kill you. Take me to your room.

Rose • O-okay.. th-that o-one.

?? • Open the door.

He said as Rose slowly walked towards her room with him still pointing the knife at her. She opened the door and entered her room.

?? • Stay here and don't move.

He said and walked to Rose's cupboard leaving rose standing near the door. Rose quickly looked around for something and spotted a vase on the table beside her. She took slow steps towards the table and hid the vase behind her.. she held it tight and smashed it on his head.

?? • Ow- you bitvh..

He fell on the ground unconscious and the knife flew out of his hand. Rose was breathing heavily and ran to take her phone not looking where she was stepping and accidentally stepped on a broken piece making her foot bleed.

Rose • Ah- Ahh.

She hissed in pain as tears filled her eyes but didn't care and quickly called the police.

~ Call ~

911 • 911 what's your emergency??

Rose • A-a thief entered my apartment with a knife.. I-i h-hit him with a vase.. h-he is unconscious.

911 • Okay mam relax.. some officers are coming at your apartment. Make sure he doesn't gain his consciousness.

Rose • O-okay..

911 • Stay calm mam.. they are almost there..

A few minutes later..

911 • Mam are you there?? Can you open the door for the officers??

Rose • Y-yes..

She hung up and slowly walked outside with her bleeding foot.. she opened the door.

Officer • Mam are you okay?? Where is the thief??

Rose • He's i-inside..

Officer • Okay.. Sean take her downstairs.. I called the ambulance. Also send someone to get the thief as well.

Sean • Alright sir.

He took Rose with him.. they reached the ground floor and a nurse made Rose sit on a wheelchair as she couldn't walk.

Sean • There's an injured person upstairs.. he is unconscious.

Nurse • Okay sir.. nurse!! Take the stretcher there. Quick..

They went to the apartment while the other nurse treated Rose.

Nurse • I think I have to take you to the hospital.. your foot is bleeding a lot. May I ask how this happened??

Rose • A.. thief entered my apartment. I hit him with a vase and accidentally stepped on the broken piece.

Nurse • Is the other person the thief??

Rose • Y-yes.

Nurse • Alright it's okay.. you seem very scared mam, it's okay now. Let me take you to the hospital.. Lee ho!! Take mam in the other ambulance. Her foot might get infected.

Lee Ho • Okay.

He pushed Rose's wheelchair and took her to the hospital.

~ An hour later ~

Alice rushed to the reception and asked where Rose is.

Alice • Uhm excuse me. May I ask where the patient named Rose is??

Receptionist • She's there mam.

Alice • Okay thank you.

She hurriedly went towards the ward and spotted Rose.

Alice • Rosie!! Omg are you okay?!

Rose • ..I-i was so scared unnie.

She burst in tears as Alice hugged her and patted her back.

Alice • Shh.. everything is fine now. There is no one here.. What happend to your neck and foot??

Rose • I-i accidentally stepped on a broken vase. And M-my neck.. he was placing a knife o-on it.

Alice • Oh gosh.. it's alright. I shouldn't have gone to work. Here drink this.. do you want something??

She shook her head with her red puffy eyes.

Alice • Okay.. sleep for some time. I am going to talk with the nurse.

Rose • O-okay.

Alice helped Rose lay down and covered her with the blanket. She walked towards the nurse and talked to her about Rose.

Nurse • Take her here again after 3 days and we will open her bandage. But she will be given an ointment to apply.

Alice • Okay..

Nurse • And about her neck would, let the bandage stay on it for a few days. And also change her foot bandage once a day.

Alice • Okay, thank you.
Nurse • Your welcome. Have a nice day.

The nurse left. Alice sighed and went back to Rose, she was already asleep. Alice caressed her hair and sat down near taking her mobile out.

'Three messages from boss.. here we go again.' She thought.

She opened the message.

' Where are you miss Alice?? '

' Why aren't you in office??'

' This isn't right miss. '

' Sir my sister is in hospital. It was an emergency so I didn't get to inform you. I am sorry.'

' Alright.. but be careful next time. Take care of your sister. Good evening. '

' Thank you sir. Good evening'

She opened instagram and started scrolling on explore.

Alice • Be careful. Hold this..

Rose • Unnie I have a meeting with Bang PD what should I do??

Alice • ..I will take you there.

Rose • Aren't you going to your office??

Alice • I took a leave. Let's go.

Alice and Rose left the hospital and Alice took her directly to HYBE LABELS.
They got off the taxi and alice supported rose to walk.

Rose • I messaged the same I number I received a text from. I told them about the incident.

Alice • So what did they say??

Rose • ..Just that the meeting won't take long and I can take you here with me.

Alice • Ahh okay.

Alice and Rose reached the meeting room. A staff took them there. Rose knocked on the door.

' Come in.. '

They entered.

Bang PD • Ahh.. Park Chaeyoung??

Rose • Uhm yes.

Bang PD • Please sit down.. I could've delayed the meeting if you said so.

Rose • Um no I am fine.

Bang PD • And you are..?

Alice • Oh I am her sister.. Alice.

Bang PD • I wanted to ask you a question.. I think you are ready to be a trainee and you won't need a lot of training. So maybe for 4-5 months you can be a trainee. It's a very short time and that's because of your talents. So do you agree to start.. in a couple of days when you're recovered??

Rose • I..

She looked at Alice. She nodded telling her to say what she wants.. she sighed and spoke.

Rose • The truth is.. our parents aren't with us anymore. So we only have each other to support. Staying away from my sister, it's a bit hard. I can be a trainee.. but I have one condition.

Bang PD • And what would that be??

Rose • ..I want Alice unnie to be near me. What I mean is.. if her apartment could be near this building then that would be great. Is that.. possible??
