~ Night before audition ~

~ Rose's POV ~

Rose went to Alice's room and knocked on the door. Alice opened the door and looked at Rose confused.

Alice • What happened Rosie??

Rose • Uhm.. unnie there's a thunderstorm outside. Can I.. sleep with you today??

Alice • I didn't even notice. Come on inside.

Alice took Rose inside her room and locked the door again.

Alice • Did the electricity go out as well??

Rose • Yeah.

Alice • That's why you came here. I should've gotten the generator fixed. Don't worry just sleep here, I am going to the bathroom.

Rose • Okay.

She quietly laid on the bed and covered herself with the duvet.

Rose is actually scared of the dark, the electricity went out so the light in her room was turned off as well. On the other hand Alice's room's light works with generator. The generator was also attached to Rose's room but it started having problems.

Alice came back and laid down beside rose who was already asleep.

Alice • -sigh- Sleep well Rosie.

She whispered softly and closed her eyes.

~ Audition Day ~

Alice woke up early and got ready before she woke Rose up. After waking her up she went to make breakfast. When she was done Rose also came in a pink t-shirt and shorts.

Alice • Come eat quickly and get ready.

Rose sat down beside her and started eating.

Rose • Unnie, will you come with me as well??

Alice • Are family members allowed??

Rose • Yeah. They will keep you waiting outside till I audition.

Alice • Hmm.. okay I will go. Finish your breakfast.

Rose finished her breakfast first and placed the plates in the sink. She went to her room to get ready.. she opened her wardrobe and took out the new clothes and shoes she bought.

Outfit °~°

She wore her clothes and added loose curls on the end of her hair. She finished her look with light makeup and lip gloss. Satisfied with her look she took her mobile and went out of her room.

Rose • Unnie are you ready ??

Alice • Coming!

Alice came out of her room.

Her outfit °~°

Alice • Let's go.

Rose • Let me wear my shoes.

She wore her new white shoes and they both left.

Rose and Alice walked to a nearby bus stand and waited for the bus.

Alice • Let's go on a taxi.

Rose • Okay.

Alice stopped a Taxi and both of them sat inside it.

Alice • This is the address.

She said showing her phone to the driver.

Driver • Okay mam.

He started driving and took them to their destination.

Arriving a few steps away from the building they got off the taxi. Alice paid the driver and started walking towards the HYBE Building.

Rose • Unnie I think this is it.

Alice • It's huge.. let's go inside.

Rose showed the guard her audition card and he let them inside.

Alice • Which floor are we going on??

Rose • ..It says 6th floor.

They both got on the elevator and Rose pressed the 6th floor button.

Alice • Which way are we supposed to go?

Rose • There are staff guiding the people, Unnie.

Alice • Ahh.

The elevator door opened revealing a white hallway.. they went outside the elevator and spotted two staffs standing a few steps away from them. Rose approached them.

Rose • Excuse me? can you tell me where the audition is held?

Staff • Are you here for audition??

Rose • Yes.

Staff • Show me your card, is she with you??

Rose • Yes that's my sister.

Staff • Okay.. staff take her to the waiting area and you mam come with me.

Rose • Sure.

Rose looked at Alice and she signaled her best of luck before leaving with the staff. Rose also followed the other staff as she took her somewhere. They stopped in front of a room that had a sign on it "Audition Area"
The staff opened the door and bowed to someone which Rose couldn't see.

Staff • Sir the last girl is here.

Then a familiar voice spoke..

" Send her to the room in front and start sending the girls one by one. "

Staff • Okay sir.

She once again faced me and signalled me to go to the other room I went inside the room where about 5 other girls were present.

Staff • You can sit here and wait till it's your turn. Mr Park will call your names one by one, Go to him when he calls your name.

Rose • Okay.

She sat down on one of the chairs as well.

Staff • Who's Rebecca?? Your turn first.

A girl stood up and walked away with the staff. From her facial expressions and attitude anyone could tell she was a "rich bitvh".

Suddenly one of the girls spoke.

Girl • Hey.. what's your name??

Rose • Huh? Me??

Girl • Yes, you.

Rose • Rosanne Park. Everyone calls me Rose.

Girl • Ah nice name. I am Lia btw.

Rose • I see.
Lia • You know, you're very pretty. Must be talented as well.. are you nervous??

Rose • Ah thanks. Yeah, I am pretty nervous.

Lia • Won't you talk to the other girls? We became friends already. That's Seung-bi, Yoo-hee and Hyeri. And the one that went first was Rebecca.. she's a total bitvh. We tried talking to her but she didn't even mind being kind.

Hyeri • Yeah.. I can guarantee she won't pass. Kindness is also a thing in this world.

Seung-bi • Hey I got a fun thought. How about we guess who will get selected?? And whoever guesses right, I will buy her an ice cream.

Yoo-hee • I am in.

Lia • Count me in.

Hyeri • Me too.

Rose • Uhm sure.

Seung-bi • Alright, I bet on Yoo-hee.

Yoo-hee • I'll go for Lia.

Lia • Hmm.. I have a strong feeling for Rose.

Rose • ..I think Hyeri.

Hyeri • Seung-bi it is.

Seung-bi • Okay Everyone keep their person is mind and let's find out after all of our auditions are done.

Lia • I know I am gonna win this bet. Rose gives me the queen vibes.

Rose • -giggle- Don't flatter me like that.. what If I fail?? That's double embarrassment.

Lia • You'll be fine. Don't worr-

" Lee Seung bi up next. "

Seung-bi • Here I go guys wish me luck.

Hyeri • Good luck !!

She left the room. As the time was passing Rose was getting more anxious. Lia, hyeri and Yoo-hee one by one left and now Rose was left alone.

" Roseanne Park up next. "

Rose's heart beating faster and nervousness took over her as she slowly walked towards the audition room. She took a deep breath and opened the door. She entered the room not looking at Jimin and bowed before she went towards the chair and sat down.

~ Jimin's POV ~

I called the last girl inside still keeping my cold face on. Someone entered the room while I was looking at the files. My eyes slightly widened when I took out the last file.. it's her.

Wait.. I looked up and saw her already sitting on the chair. I acted normal and cleared my throat.

Jimin • So.. Roseanne Park?? Any nicknames??

I asked her knowing damn well that question wasn't necessary.

Rose • Um.. My family calls me Rose. Roseanne is my english name.. my korean name is Chaeyoung.

She replied looking down at her hands trying to avoid eye contact.

Jimin • Alright.. did you have any job before??

Rose • Not at the moment.

Jimin • Hmm.. why do you like singing??

Rose • I have always liked singing since I was in high school. I always took parts in singing competitions in my school. And becoming a singer became my dream.

Jimin • As you know that high schoolers can also audition, why didn't you do it before??

Rose • I didn't really think I would pass.. but now my sister wants me to persue my dreams.

Jimin • What made you think you wouldn't pass??

Rose • ..I was insecure about myself.

Jimin • Alright. So what song are you singing today??

Rose • I actually.. wrote it myself.

Jimin • Oh, Interesting. So let's listen to what you've wrote today. Start when you are ready.

I looked directly at her and she was looking at me this time. She looked away again and took the guitar.

Her voice was shaky so I stopped her.

Jimin • Wait.. take a deep breath first.

She looked at me confused but then did as I said.

Jimin • Close your eyes and imagine that you're alone. Sing as if you're are singing at your house.

She slowly nodded and closed her eyes. She began again.

She finished the song and here Jimin was still lost in her voice and his thoughts.. He snapped back to his thoughts and cleared his throat.

Jimin • ..Your voice is incredible. The emotions and high notes were on point.. and I really liked your song as well. You are really talented. Congratulations you've passed. You will receive a text message later or even tomorrow for confirmation and other information.

Jimin looked at her with a small smile. Rose immediately smiled and bowed to Jimin getting up from her seat.

Rose • Thank you so much.. have a nice day.

She bowed once again before walking outside.

Rose • Rosie.. you did it.

She ran towards the elevator while smiling, where a staff was standing.

Rose • May I ask where the waiting room is??

Staff • That one right there.

Rose • Ah thank you.

She walked towards the room and opened the door. Only Alice was present there.

Alice • Oh you're done? What did he say!

Rose • I PASSED!!

Alice • Really!? Omg that's great Rosie! I am proud of you.

Rose • Thank you so much unnie. I will receive a text later for confirmation and also other things.. Unnie you know what he said? He said my voice was incredible and he also complimented the song I wrote! I am so happy.

Alice • See! I told you that you would pass easily. Let's go home now and talk there. I will make my sister a special meal.

Rose • Sure!

Alice held Rose's shoulder taking her out of the room. They walked towards the elevator and went to the ground floor. They were walking out of the building when Rose saw a crowd.

Rose • What's going on?

Alice • I don't know let's check.

They went towards the crowd and tapped a girl's shoulder.

Rose • Excuse me, may I ask what's going on here?

Girl • There is a crazy girl that started crying and gathered people, saying that Park Jimin harassed her.

Rose's eyes widened in disbelief.

Rose • This bitch.. Can you give me a little space?

She walked inside the crowd trying to see the girl. She finally pushed to the front and her mouth hung open.

Rose • Rebecca.. wah. Should've known.

Rebecca • H-he called me in his room f-first.. when I went in there. H-he was staring at me in.. in an odd way.. I-i got scare-

Rose • Excuse me! I would like to say something. I am one of the girls who auditioned today. And for your kind information I don't think Jimin did that.

Now the attention was shifted to Rose.

Rebecca • H-hey you!! Stop your non sense.

Rose • I should be the one saying that miss Rebecca. Now listen to me, she was the first one to audition and when she probably failed she started saying that Jimin harassed her. I was the last one to go in his room, all alone with him. He didn't do anything to me, I am all fine. In fact he didn't even look at me that much. Stop creating a mess here and accept your defeat now.

Rebecca • You...

Rose • What? Truth is bitter I know. Tsk.. pathetic.

She said before pushing the crowd and making her way out of there. Alice and that girl spotted Rose and came to her.

Alice • Omg girl..

Girl • I didn't expect you to shut her mouth like that Unnie!! Did you really audition!

Rose • I did.. in fact, I passed.

Girl • Wow unnie!! You're amazing. I hope to see you around. Bye bye!

The girl left as well as the crowd. Now Rebecca was left there and she was glaring at Rose. Rose looked at her and raised an eyebrow.

Rose • What? I am just spitting facts.

Rebecca • Facts my foot bitvh. You also didn't pass probably that's why you're taking your anger out on others.

She said and smirked thinking she had a point. But Rose smirked wider and replied.

Rose • Congrats.. but you're wrong. I have passed the audition unlike you. See you around slvt.

Rebecca • Yah! Come back here!

Rose and Alice left the place smirking.

Alice • Now that's my sister.
