Around 4 pm the entire Gill and Randhawa family members got ready to greet the guests as the wedding functions were starting from today. Shubman and Meera were actually excited to meet the entire ICT and their friends Divya and Meera as well. It has been a long time since they all met.

Shubman and Meera started to get ready.
Meera was even more excited because she will get to meet her grandparents after such a long time.
Her grandparents always wished her to get married.

As the door bell rang Meera rushed towards it to open. A huge smile came on her lips after seeing her grandparents. They loved her more than anyone else.

Meera's Grandma:-Puttar tu thik h?

Meera:-Hanji dadiji.

Meera's Grandma:-Beta teri shaadi ho rhi h main toh sachi bohat khush hu.

Meera's Grandpa:-Hamari Meera kitni badi ho gyi h. Aisa lagta tha ki kal hi tu aur Shubman sath mein school jaaya karte thhe aur aaj tum dono shaadi kar rahe ho believe hi nhi hota.

Meera smiled at her grandparents words. Her eyes filled with tears of happiness. Her grandparents always wanted a guy who loves Meera more than anyone else. Meera's grandparents always prayed for the day when Meera will get married and that day is about to come soon.

Meera's grandparents settled on the couch gossiping with other relatives suddenly a loud noise came from the door. As she turned around to see it was the entire ICT congratulating her.

ICT:-Congratulations Meera.

Meera:-Thanks guys. Oh god what a surprise. I thought u guys will come exactly on the wedding day.

Ishan:-Bro we all will be a part of all the functions.

Hardik:-Woh isliye ki tuje sirf khana thusna h.

Ishan:-Arey kya yaar Hardik bhai.(everyone chuckled at their banter)

Hardik:-But seriously Meera we all wanted to be a part of all the functions.

Meera:-Thanks Hardik bhai.

Virat:-We all still can't believe that you and Shubman are about to get married in just few days.

Meera:-Virat bhai muje toh khud believe nhi ho rha h that i am about to get married to my best friend and the love of my life.

Rohit:-By the way kidhar h apna majnu?

Abhishek:-Garden mein ghoom raha hoga.

Meera:-No no no he is getting ready.

Ishan:-Yeh Shubman ladkiyo se bhi zyada time lagata h ready hone ke liye.

Suddenly Shubman came out of his room wearing a blue kurta. He was really happy after seeing the entire ICT.

Ishan:-Oh ho dekho dulhe raja aa gaye.

As Meera's gaze shifted towards him she couldn't help but admire how his man looked so handsome in that kurta. Shubman smirked at her reaction and decided to tease her.

Shubman:-Mrs. Gill aap hi ka hone wala husband hu. Just wait a little more.(he said winking at her, Meera blushed at his remark)

Rohit:-Ahem ahem hum bhi idhar hi h bhai.

Shubman:-Arey sorry bhai.

Virat:-Koi na koi na. Aaj toh sachi hero lag raha h tu.

Shubman:-Thanks Virat bhai. I am really happy that all of you r here today.

Shubman's parents told everyone to start with the ceremony.

Their house was decorated with different types of flowers and aesthetic candles.

As Shubman and Meera settled on the couch their entire family and friends gathered around them to celebrate their union.

Shahneel bought the rings in a decorated plate. She extended the plate towards Shubman to first take the ring. Shubman took the ring. It was a diamond solitaire ring. Shubman forwarded his hands towards Meera and she held his hand. Shubman gently put the ring on her finger looking deeply into her eyes making her blush.

Everyone started to clap for both of them.

Shahneel extended the plate towards Meera now as it was her turn to put the ring on Shubman's finger. Meera took the ring. She shyly put the ring on Shubman's finger, her eyes lowered due to shyness.

Everyone started to clap for them and congratulated them.

Meera's Mom:-You both r finally engaged i can't believe this.

Meera's Dad:-Congratulations baccho. God u both look so beautiful together. God bless you both always.

Shubman's mom cupped Meera's face kissing her forehead gently.

Shubman's Mom:-Puttar mein toh bahut khush hu ki tu meri ghar ki beti banne ja rhi h.

Shahneel:-Haan ab yeh Shubman thoda sudhar jayega.

Shubman:-Excuse me. Main kaunsa koi bigda hua hu. I am the most innocent person here.

Meera:-Really? Don't say that. (She said with a smirk on her face)

Shubman:-Ahem i guess i should go and eat now.

Meera:-Aaya unth pahad ke niche.

Shubman's Dad:-Yeh dono itne bade ho gye h abhi bhi bacho jaise ladte h.

Suddenly Divya and Garima came running towards Meera and they all three shared a tight hug.

Divya & Garima:-Congratulations Meera.

Meera:-Thanks Guys.

Divya:-Oh god u r engaged i can't believe this.

Garima:-Aur kya yaar. Muje toh hamesha se pata tha ki tum dono ke beech mein kuch toh h and now see you both r about to get married in a couple of days.

As the function goes on everyone started to gossip with each other and enjoyed having delicious meals.
The entire house filled with warmth and love. They all clicked various pictures of each other and saving the memories of the day.

As the ceremony came to an end Meera felt really tired. She thought to grab a cup of coffee and decided to spend time on the balcony.

As she was sipping her coffee she felt a pair of hands from behind hugging her.

Meera:-Shub what r u doing. Someone will see us.

Shubman:-I don't care u r my fiancée now.

Shubman started to kiss her earlobe trailing the kisses down her neck. Meera's face heated up due to it.

Meera:-Shub pls stop.

Shubman:-What happened babygirl?

Meera:-Well Mr.Gill control yourself for next few days. We r about to get married.

Shubman:-Means no ahem ahem till marriage.

Meera:-Yes.

Shubman:-Well this is not fair.

Meera:-Good things comes to those who wait.

Shubman:-Aghhh ok.

Meera:-U look cute like this.

Shubman:-And u look cute in every way.

They both shared a warm hug. Shubman kissed Meera's forehead gently showing his love and connection.

Meera:-Shub..

Shubman:-Yes love.

Meera:-I still can't believe that we are going to get married in a couple of days.

Shubman:-Yes it all feels like a magic.

Meera:-U remember when we met for the first time.

Shubman:-Yeah we were 6 years old when u shifted here.

Meera:-Ahh i still remember can't believe i am going to marry my best friend. U know sometimes i think we were so stupid when we got into that friends with benefits contract thing.

Shubman:-Oh god what a jerk i was. But u know it kinda worked out for us.(he said winking at her)

They both started to laugh sharing a moment of joy and happiness.

Guys i think i should skip the story to their wedding day i don't know if i will be able to write the wedding rituals and stuff. But if you want me to write all the rituals pls tell. But personally i would just love to skip it to their wedding day.
