As the rays of morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow on the room, as Shubman slowly stirred awake. Shubman saw Meera nestled in his arms, a small smile came on his face. He was just admiring her beauty and thought how can someone look so beautiful while sleeping.

He gently stroked her hair and planted a soft kiss on her forehead. She looked like a goddess of beauty and love to him. His gaze suddenly shifted towards the hickeys he gave her last night. He started to brush his fingers on it.

He gently kissed those hickeys.
A soft moan came out of Meera's mouth. She woke up and saw Shubman staring at her.

Meera:-Hey Good Morning Shubi.

Shubman:-Good Morning Meera. How r u feeling?

Meera:-Uh great last night with u was just amazing. (Shubman chuckled at this comment)

Meera:-How was it for u?

Shubman:-Ah it was great. Uh Meera i want to ask u something?

Meera:-Yes.

Shubman:-Do u ever feel uncomfortable whenever we r doing it or ever felt bad about it?

Meera:-No Shubman never u can never make me feel uncomfortable. Ofcourse at first when we got into this fwb thing i was a bit worried but now it really doesn't bothers me. For me u r still a great friend that i knew since childhood.

Shubman;-Oh god Meera u don't know how much relax i feel after listening to your answer. (Meera smiled at his reaction)

Meera:-Shubman what's the time?

Shubman:-It's 6:30 am.

Meera:-What i have to go.

Shubman:-No stay na.

Meera:-No Shubman everyone usually wakes up by this time and if they didn't find me in my room they will question me.

Meera wore her lingerie and the raincoat she had, suddenly someone knocked at Shubman's door.
Hey Shubi it's Shahneel.
Meera got panicked but Shubman relaxed her and helped her to get out of his room through the window and she finally got into her room.
Shubman wore his clothes, cleaned his bed which was messed up by last night's activity and took a deep breath and opened the door.

Shubman:-Oh yes sorry i forgot.

Shahneel:-Chal koi na waise yeh bata tuje itna time kyu lag gya door kholne mein?

Shubman:-Arey woh mein di washroom mein tha.

Shahneel:-Acha yeh sab chod abhi abhi mumma papa ko Meera ke parents ka phone aaya tha they said ki unke ghar mein koi special guests aane wale h so we r also invited. So get ready soon we have to be there by 10 am.

Shubman:-Ohk Shahneel di main bas aadhe ghante mein tayaar hoke aata hu.

As Meera climbed the window and reached to her bedroom she got ready and went to wish her parents. Her parents were having breakfast on the dining table.

Meera's Mom & Dad:-Good Morning Baccha.

Meera's Mom:-Aaj tum itni late kaise uth gyi usually u wake up early?

Meera:-Mom actually i was a bit tired after travelling yesterday so i thought i should sleep a little more. (Meera didn't felt good after lying to her parents but she had to)

Meera's Dad:-Oh it's ok.

Meera's Mom:-Ye ye rest is important and i hope u slept well.

Meera:-Yes mummy.

Meera's Dad:-Beta hume tumse ek baat krni thi.

Meera:-Hanji Dad boliye.

Meera's Dad:-Uhm actually beta mere ek friend h his name his Khushwant Ahluwalia he is like my childhood friend and unka ek beta h his name his Rajveer Ahluwalia and woh aaj ghar aa rhe h tumhe dekhne ke liye.

Meera:-Muje dekhne ke liye matlab?

Meera's Mom:-Bete pls panic mat hona woh actually tumhare rishte ke liye aa rhe h.

Meera:-What mumma i don't want to get married now i am just 23.

Meera's Dad:-I know beta it's quite shocking for u but at least meet that guy u might like him.

Meera's Mom:-Haan bacha give it a try.

Meera:-Ohk(she said irritatingly)

Meera's Dad:-Accha Shubman ki family bhi aa rhe h hamare ghar woh bhi ladke walon ko mil lenge.(Meera got shocked after hearing this)

Meera:-Woh kyun aa rhe h.

Meera's Mom:-Arey beta Shubman ki family ka bhi toh hamare saath itne saalon ka rishta h hamare itne khaas neighbours h woh unka bhi toh iss rishte mein opinion important h.

Meera's Dad:-Aur kya accha beta jldi se ready ho jaao ladke wale 10 am tk aa jayenge.

Meera's Mom:-Haan i bought a beautiful saree for u wear it today.

Meera:-Ohk mumma.

Meera went inside her bedroom, her mind filled with stress regarding this marriage situation. She got even nervous after hearing that Shubman will also be here. But somehow she has to listen to her parents. So she started to get ready without wasting any time.
It was 9:45 am.
Meera wore the saree and did minimal makeup. She literally looked like a princess in that saree.

As Meera wore this saree she thought it was a bit revealing but never mind she looked hot in it. She clicked a few pictures. Suddenly she heard her mom's voice.
She came inside her bedroom.

With every footsteps Meera's tension grew even more. She wasn't feeling shy like any normal girl would feel at such moment but she was getting nervous for Shubman. How will he react to all this marriage thing. After all i am in a pact with him and it clearly stated that i can't get involved with any other person apart from him.

As Shubman's family arrived at Meera's house, they saw another family sitting on the sofa. Shubman got a bit confused after seeing those people as they never saw them in Meera's house.

Meera's Dad:-Arey aaiye aaiye Lakhwinder Ji, Namaste bhabhi. Shahneel, Shubman tum log bhi aao.

Shubman's Dad:-Namaste Ji kaise h aap yeh achanak aapne kaise bula liya hame?

Meera's Dad:-Lakhwinder Ji aaj Meera ko dekhne ladke wale aaye huye h. (Shubman got shocked after hearing this)

Shubman's Dad:-But achanak se rishta abhi toh bahot young h woh.

Meera's Dad:-Haan hum jante h woh abhi young h but Meera ke grandparents chahte h ki Meera ki shaadi jldi ho jaye.

Shubman's Dad:-Oh i see.

Everyone got settled on the sofa. Meera arrived with her mother in the living room. As Shubman saw her he got lost in her beauty. He thought how ethereal she is looking but on the other hand he thought how revealing the saree is. As his gaze shifted towards Rajveer, the lust in his eyes was quite evident. Shubman fumed with anger as he didn't like the way Rajveer was looking at Meera. But he controlled himself because he doesn't want to create a scene.

As Meera arrived she greeted everyone. Her mother guided her to sit beside Rajveer. Meera tried to stay calm as much as she can but her mind was stuck on Shubman. She kept stealing glances at him in between. She noticed that he looked angry.

Shubman somehow understood that this Rajveer isn't a good guy. When everyone was busy in their conversations Shubman noticed that Rajveer was kept staring at Meera's cleavage in between. Shahneel noticed Shubman's uneasiness.

Meera's mind was occupied with Shubman's thoughts and his comfort. She understood that Shubman didn't like what was happening in fact she herself didn't like this Rajveer guy.

MEERA TO HERSELF IN HER MIND:-
Oh god why r u doing this to me. I don't like the way this Rajveer is looking at me. I can't marry him. I don't love him. I love Shub... woah woah what i am thinking i don't love Shub then why his presence is bothering me. I am just nervous because he is my fwb partner that's all.

Shubman got even more angry after hearing this. He decided to do something that can shift Meera's attention from Rajveer. Shubman was holding a glass of water in his hand. He put pressure on it and as Meera and Rajveer stood up to go inside her room the glass broke. Shubman's hand started to bleed profusely. Everyone got panicked.

Shubman's Mom:-Arey Shubman beta tere haath se yeh khoon kaise nikl rha h.

Meera's Mom:-Oh god Meera bete ek kaam kr apne kamre se cotton bandage le aa.

Meera:-Ji mummy.(she went inside her bedroom, took the bandage and came back)

As Meera came back she started to roll the bandage on Shubman's hand. Rajveer didn't like what all was happening. Well he didn't like the closeness between Shubman and Meera. Shubman slightly smirked at his reaction.

As time passed everyone got busy with having snacks and discussing about various topics.

Rajveer's Mom:- Aap sab se milke bohot khushi huyi. Ab bacho yeh batao tumhe rishta manzoor h?

Rajveer:-Ji mummy muje koi problem nhi h.

Meera's Mom:-Meera beta tum batao?

Meera:-No Mummy.

Meera's Dad:-Par bete kya hua?

Meera:-Papa it's just hard for me to say yes to this marriage because i hardly know Rajveer. Main aise hi koyi decision lightly toh nhi le skti na.

Meera's Mom:-Par beta...(she was cut off by Meera's dad)

Meera's Dad:-Koi baat nhi beta take as much time as u want. It's your life after all.

Meera:-Thanks papa.☺️

All the guests left even then Gill family. Shubman was fuming with anger. He thought that how Meera can consider Rajveer to be his husband.

On the other hand Meera's parents got a call from her grandparents to come visit them.

It was 10 pm at night, Meera was still in her saree because she didn't got time to change, her mind was occupied with Shubman's thoughts.
She thought she needs to confront him about all this marriage situation. She decided to call him. Suddenly she heard the doorbell and thought who could be at the door this late.
