Chapter 17

It was a moment of weakness, how could I not kiss him. It was like everything in my mind went blank, I was so hesitant in the beginning, I knew I shouldn't have, I knew he was just gonna use me.

But I never wanted to be used so badly

I watched as Justin slept on my chest, we didn't have sex of course. but I know Justin might take Derek back. that can't happen. i  can't lose Justin.

I need him.

I don't care what I have to do , to keep him and Derek away. He said it himself he made the wrong choice with Derek.

The door bell rang as I brushed my teeth. "Who is it?" I heard Justin yell. He gasped then ran to my bathroom.

"I-it's Derek, I don't wanna see him" he whimpered.

"I'll tell him to leave okay?" Justin nodded and hid in my bathroom. I opened my door to a teary eyed Derek.

"Can I-I speak to Justin" he sobbed.

"He doesn't speak to cheaters" I said before I tried to slam the door, but Derek held it back.

"Jason, you have to believe me" he begged, I came outside closing the front door. I checked my bathroom window to see Justin looking but then closing the curtains.

"Mariah is gay! I invited Justin to a double date because I was trying to be a wingman for my friend Micheal, that's him in the Car" Derek pointed to a black Toyota

"she's gay sir!" I heard 'Micheal' yell. He then stepped out the car and greeted me. "Please, this is all my fault, I was nervous to go out with my date and-" Derek then cut him off

"She was his girlfriends friend, and I only decided to go because of that reason, because she gay, so there is no way in a million years she would come after me-" Derek said.

"You have turned gay girls straight Derek" Micheal said before getting his foot stomped on. "Fuck, I'm going back in the car" He huffed

" plus I didn't even wanna go with her I wanted to go with Justin...Jason I'm begging you let me please speak to Justin. H-he's the love of my life" Derek pleaded. As much as I couldn't stand the fact of Justin and Derek being together this is a horrible way to end their relationship, even their friendship.

My heart sank when I heard those words. Justin is definitely going to get back with him. I sighed. I gotta pretend like I don't care, then it's just up to the boys. Justin will not be taking Derek back if he still thinks that he cheated....

"What you and Justin have going on is none of my business, I'm staying out of it" I said before closing and locking the front door. Derek then stared at the door for a while before walking back to Michaels car and driving off.

"W-What did he say?" Justin asked peaking his head out my bathroom

"Excuses" I lied. Justin is going to have to see him tomorrow for school anyway, maybe they'll work out, but deep inside I didn't want this...

Deep down inside I wish that in a perfect world me and Justin can be together.

"you really like drawing huh jay?" I looked at the new stuff he drew. He nodded with a smile. "Do you wanna be an artist?"

"I am an artist daddy!"

"You're right" I chucked.  I kissed his lips and hung two more of his pictures on the fridge. "We're gonna need a bigger fridge" Justin laughed before making a bowl of cereal

"No no no" I took the cereal box out his hand. We are going out to eat tonight.

It's been two weeks since Justin found out about the "cheating" Justin made me block Derek's number on his phone and made sure he didn't see him. He even got his schedule changed so him and Derek didn't have the same classes.

Justin hasn't been getting bullied as often now anyway, so he doesn't really need Derek for school anymore.

I feel guilty because I feel like I'm depriving Justin from Derek. Like my words can change Justin into falling right back into Derek's arms. But I won't let that happen.

Justin is mine.

"You've been so good lately, and besides we need a night out. Just me and my baby"

"Okay daddy, I'm going to go change" Justin smiled softly and ran to his room.

okayyy SOOO I already know how I'm gonna plan these next chapters I was thinking about making a second book but nobody seems the read this one, so I'm gonna just finish it the way I thought
But you will be surprised
And I hope you don't think I got rid of Derek so easily 🤨
