Ⓘt was the first day at the new school. The raven-haired male was nervous for some reason as if he wanted to fit in, but at the same time, he didn't. When he was walking towards the entrance, walking down the hall, walking towards his given locker with his books, he couldn't help but feel incredibly unwelcome. The school was an all-boys school, though it made no difference. He still felt the weird gazes directed towards him, as if he was an outsider already, although most of the students were new and alone. With him, it was just more obvious.

He managed to find his classroom, and sat all the way back, trying to make space between him and the rest of the students. But when the teacher had come, she told the students who hadn't found their seats yet to sit beside someone else, even if they didn't know them.

A boy Yoongi's age approached him cautiously, eventually sitting down next to him by the wall. He glanced at him at first, but as Yoongi didn't meet his gaze, he didn't bother to introduce himself.

"Look at all these new, young and beautiful faces!" the teacher beamed happily as she scanned through the new students. "I'm your homeroom teacher, Ms Bom, and I'm excited to get to know every single one of you. Today there'll be no classes, only to get to know each other and hopefully learn each other's names. I'd like for the first row to start off by introducing himself by name, hobbies and what you want to do in the future if you already have a goal or dream. Okay, let's go with you."

Ms Bom had a pretty smile. She seemed kind and thoughtful, Yoongi thought as he watched her. She seemed young, as she had a small face and wasn't married yet. She had to at least be in her thirties though.

Students had introduced themselves, and soon it was the males in front of Yoongi. "My name is Jung Hoseok. I love to dance and act, so I'd like to study acting in college. My dream is to either become a professional dancer or actor," he announced proudly, although some of the classmates were giggling silently by his remark.

When Yoongi's eyes landed on Hoseok's seatmate, he felt like he looked familiar. His hair was blond, his skin was so bright and pure, his uniform was clean and neat. And that's when it hit him he met him the other day at the diner.

"Hello!" he yelled cheerfully. "My name is Park Jimin, and I love to do everything, really! I love playing sports, I love reading, I love being with friends and family, anything!" He was smiling all over, even the teacher stared at him surprised. "My dream is to make humans happy, and the Earth a safe place to live."

"Now that's, uh, different," Ms Bom giggled at him. Her eyes drifted towards behind him, and so her eyes landed on Yoongi's seatmate.

"Jeon Jungkook," he said bored, "I like to write. Nothing much. Don't really have a dream or goal."

"You wouldn't want to become a writer then?" Ms Bom asked surprised.

"I don't believe I could make a living with just that as my talent," he scoffed.

"You'd never know," she smiled, then her gaze landed on Yoongi.

"I'm Min Yoongi. I don't do much in my free time, and I don't have a dream or goal. Just to get out, to be honest."

"Get out?" Ms Bom asked. "Out of school, you mean?"

"Out of my home. Out of town," he replied. "I just want to quickly grow up."

"Okay, just don't rush it, Yoongi," the teacher smiled. Her attention turned towards everyone in the classroom again, meeting the students' eyes. "You'll keep the seats you're sitting in now, so remember them, and remember your seatmates. We'll have a small break for now, but when I get back, we'll start off with some name games to try and remember each other better. I'll be back in twenty minutes. Try and talk with each other." She gave everyone one last smile before disappearing, and the silent classroom was filled with small chants here and there.

Yoongi was still silent, ignoring what everyone was talking about. His seatmate was quiet as well. He heard the two males in front of them chat with each other, but the blond one, Park Jimin, kept stealing glances over his shoulder to Yoongi. He must recognise me as well, he thought to himself, although he didn't bother giving his attention towards him anymore. Not until he saw a hand waving in front of his face that was.

"Hello? Earth to Min Yoongi?"

Yoongi glanced up again, meeting eyes with the student who was sitting right in front of him, Jung Hoseok. "What?" he asked.

"I tried to talk to you, but you didn't answer," he smiled cutely.

"For a reason," he mumbled. He noticed Jungkook, his seatmate, snorted at his comment, but remained silent.

"You don't need to be shut out from us, Yoongi," Jimin smiled an angelic smile. "We just want to be friends."

Yoongi glared at them before standing up. "I need to pee," he grumbled before disappearing from them. It was still around ten minutes until the teacher would come back, and Yoongi planned to stay away from the students until then.

As he arrived at the men's toilet, he didn't really need to relieve himself, and just stood in front of the mirror, staring at his own reflection; his black eye wasn't swollen anymore, although it still had some colour. It was covered with makeup though, so no one could tell. Either people around him would be afraid of him and ask him if he was in a gang, or if he was being abused at home. He didn't want to answer either of them.

"Yoongi?" said a sudden voice behind him. He didn't bother to turn around and just stared at the new appearance through the mirror.

"What do you want?" he asked the male with blond hair.

"I was just wondering why you wanted to disappear from us? Did we make you feel uncomfortable?" he asked innocently.

"I just don't do well with strangers," he muttered, not giving it much thought.

"Don't you think you should give us a chance before trying to escape us?" Jimin asked.

"Don't tell me what to do," he glared as he turned around to look directly at the other male. "Don't ever."

Jimin swallowed. "I'm not, I'm just giving you advice. You know, from experience."

"I don't care about your experience," Yoongi muttered under his breath. "People who pretend to know everything and believe they can make a difference for 'the greater good' are ignorant, and only do it for themselves."

Jimin's eyes widen as he stared at the human. "You don't believe," he whispered with tears in his eyes.

Yoongi frowned at him but decided not to question him, and rather just walked past him, bumping into him slightly, before exiting the toilets. Though the smaller one caught up to him quickly in the hallways. "Let me ask you something," he started, "why do you hate me already when you don't know me or who I am?" he asked hurt.

Yoongi stopped to look at him. "Because you're the type of person to mind other people's business when it has nothing to do with you."

Jimin shook his head. "I was just worried about your health if you're talking about the other day. Smoking, and for such a young age to top it, is really bad."

"Haven't you figured it out yet?" Yoongi growled. "I don't care." He started walking again, annoyed over the other male's behaviour and attachment towards him.

"You should care!" Jimin suddenly yelled, causing him to stop in his tracks. He had his back facing the blond boy. "You should care about yourself! And your family, and friends! Even if there aren't many of them, there are still people who love you. Don't you think you're being too harsh towards them? Too mean?"

Yoongi turned into the speed of light, walking up to him quickly and shoved him up against the locker, holding his arm on the smaller one's throat so he'd feel him slightly strangle him, but enough to breathe.

"Don't you dare talk about my family, nor friends. You don't know anything about me, so don't try to act like you'd know, and I don't surely care what has happened to you before. Just mind your own fucking business and get out of my sight." He let go of Jimin, but he stood in the same spot, waiting for what the other would possibly reply to him.

"We're in the same class though, it won't be that easy to get rid of me," he grinned, adding a small chuckle along.

Yoongi frowned at him, then he let out a sigh. This kid is weird, he thought to himself but scoffed as he turned to walk away again, not even caring if the happy student was following or not.
