Dragneel Corporations

To the Heartfilia family. We are pleased to inform you that you are invited to the Dragneel Corp.'s 20th Anniversary setting down another year of it's success.
Dragneel family and possibly our family would be more that grateful to have you in our celebration.
Since The Hearfilia Corp. has been with us for many years. This is a gift for our gratitude.

Blah blah blah.
I looked at some details as to where and when this would be held. I guess I'll see Natsu there.

Natsu will be there. That thought made me giddy.

What should I wear?!

I ran up to my walk-in closet throwing out cute formal dresses for the event.

Wait I think I'm too excited. The party isn't until Sunday.

I sat down on a chair in the middle of my closet and faceplamed.
I fixed my closet and dived to my bed nuzzling my face to my soft pink pillow.
What's going on with me?
Then I noticed my phone vibrating on my nightstand. I took it to see who was calling.
'Dad'
I slid my thumb on the screen and answered the phone call. I sat up.
"Lucy darling?" A female voice came out.

"Mom?!" I replied in shock

"Yes honey, it's mommy. Listen, I've doubled up the cash you have in your bank account. Shop to your heart's content! Look good infront my future son-in-law. Awe you two are going to look adorable!" She said cheerfully and started squealing.

I think I'd be happier if she'd marry Natsu. She's too excited.

Besides just thinking of getting married at a young age is kind of disappointing. Plus, what if I grow to love someone else? I won't know what to do by then.

"Alright mom. Thanks!" I said

"Sure honey, anyth--"

"Mom, what if I don't want to marry Natsu? or any person who's on your list?  What if I fall in love with another person, a person you'd least expect? Would you--" She cut me off

"Honey"

I heard her close a door.

"Honey, look, I won't force you to do anything. You make your own decisions. As long as you're happy. I don't know what your father would say but I'll help him understand. Okay? So don't worry. " She explained

"Thanks mom" I sighed out of relief

"Why honey? Have you fallen for another?" She asked

"No, I was just wondering. Anyway mom, I'll call you later. Thanks for everything." I said

"Sure honey, good night! I love you!" She said sweetly.

"Good night mom. I love you too. Oh and tell dad that I love him too. " I smiled.

As soon as I ended the phone call it rang again.
"Mom! I told you I'd call you later." I said in an annoyed tone.

"Mom?" A male voice spoke. I was shocked so I checked the called ID but there was no name.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!" I apologized

"Hey, beautiful. It's Gray." He laughed. I giggles at my mistake.

"What's up?" I asked

"I was just going to tell you that I'm going to pick you up at 5pm tomorrow" he informed

"Oh, uhm about that. Can you pick me up earlier, I was wondering if you could go shopping with me. I was planning to buy a dress for a company's party, maybe you could be here at 1pm. Let's have lunch at my place." I asked nervously

"Oh sure! I'll be there at 1pm then. " He said cheerfully

"That's perfect. I'll text you the address to my house. Thanks again Gray! Bye!" I said.

Somehow I was excited to see Gray again.
I texted him the adress to my house, then I heard Virgo calling out for me while she knocked on my door.

"Dinner time, Miss!" She said with a smile

As soon as I finished dinner, I washed myself up and brushed my teeth. Then my phone vibrated again seeing two texts from Gray

Gray : Hey beautiful, excited to see you tomorrow 😉

Gray : Texted to say Good night! Sweet dreams! 😍

I giggled at his texts

Lucy: Good night Gray! Sweet dreams. ☺️

I slowly open my eyes and made few blinks. I rubbed my eyes and noticed my phone was still beside me.

I opened it to check if I had messages .

Gray : Good morning sleeping beauty! I'll see ya later! 😊

Lucy: Good Morning Gray! ☺️

I smiled at his text, it made my cheeks heat up.

I checked the my alarm clock to see what time it was.

Hmm 8:45 am huh? Well! Guess I'll eat some breakfast and take a shower later.

I changed my night gown, to a white flowy short dress. I washed my face, and brushed my teeth and fix my hair to a ponytail.

I made my way to my couch and continued to draw the cherry blossoms brushing the page some paint.

A linght pink color, like Natsu's soft messy hair.

Wait! Why am I thinking of him?

Come to think of it, cherry blossoms reminded me of him, it remided me of his beautiful personality, his toothy smiles and his warm hugs.

This has always beenfor Natsu.

I finished my painting I admired it.
I thought of painting in in a canvas. It would look much better.

There was a knock in my door and saw Virgo. "Breakfast is ready Miss" She said bringing my food to my coffee table.

"Thank you Virgo." I smiled

She bowed and walked away. Then I remembered

"Hey Virgo! Do we have blank canvases?"
I asked

"From what I remember, your mother used to paint, she keeps it in her caft room. Sadly Miss, I cannot enter." She said

"That's alright. I'll get it." I smiled and left. I
I ate my bacon and pancakes and placed my plates back to the kitchen.

I went back to my room and took a shower. I walked in my closet and chose a cute white sleevless dress.

It had a black fitting belt which showed my curves and I chose white 3inch heels, took my sunglasses and hanged them on my nude colored shoulder bag and placed my sun hat beside it. I let my long hair fall down to my back and curled my hair, they were loose curls makin my hair look a little wavy.

I put powder on my face and put on a light nude colored lipstick.

I checked the time and it was still 10am. So I took plue out the garden and played with him for an hour, but it was still 11am so...

I decided to go to my mother's craft room and chose a big canvas that caught my eye, I also borrowed some of her paint, and paint brushes.

Before I could return to my room, Virgo helped me carry the art materials.

"Thanks Virgo. Uhm Virgo can you please prepare lunch, I have a visitor later at 1pm. " I asked while arranging the stand to a wide space so I could work properly.

"Of course Miss." She said and left me to my work.

I outlined the canvas with a pencil lightly and stared painting different shades of pink. I just thought of Natsu for a whole hour.

"Miss Lucy, a Mr.Gray is here to see you." Virgo said.
"Bring him here. Please" I asked

While I was painting I felt strong arms around my waist. I was too focused at the painting that I didn't even notice Gray. I blushed before I turned to look at his face.

"Hey there pretty lady. " He said in a childish tone chuckling. I giggled in return. He looked at my paiting.

"You have talent Lucy" He smiled.

"Thank you. Guess that's a huge compliment considering that it's my first painting" I giggled

"Really? You're amazing Lucy." He blushed staring on to the painting .

"Miss lunch is ready." Virgo said.

I pulled Gray's hand to stop him from staring at the painting, I was too flattered at his compliment. I pulled Gray down to the dining room, giggling.

I notice Gray blush as I held on to his wrist heading to the dining room. As soon as we arrived he pulled out a chair for me.

"There you go princess." He said.

He sat in front of me and we talked for almost an hour laughing and giggling.

We went outside to move on to our date he opened the car door for me and drove to the mall.
